I'm glad someone else noticed! Over the past year, I've been thinking about this theory that Prue was going to develop telepathy, or SOMETHING similar to a mental ability in this aspect, because there's quite a few times she's sensed things! No, you have this scene from AHBL: That's why Prue felt something - that was the warning the Source promised. But he tricked them by doing it when Phoebe was still in the Underworld couldn't save both Prue and Piper like she did the first time. Why did she sense/smell her mother's presence in FFTE? Why did she have a dream about the ice cream truck before it's involvement in the episode? Why did they highlight Prue getting deja vu and not Piper in DVAOA?
I wouldn't mind your theory, and it's almost very plausible, but it throws me off, because your theory suggests that Einstein’s special relativity is at play-- what's already happened has happened, so the Source must've sent the warning in the beginning of the episode, too; if we are using Einstein’s special relativity theory, why wasn't Phoebe already down in the Underworld in the introduction of the episode? And if the Source sent the warning the first time, what was the point of it? The only reason he did it was at Phoebe's request, but if she wasn't down there the first time, then... you see where that's going? Time-travel is fickle, but I don't think I can get on board with that theory.
* also, though I actually can't prove this, I'm going to strongly assume that the Source wasn't sending drafts to Prue all day, since she said she's had a bad feeling all day. |

She didn't sense her - she saw her ghost. Both Prue and Phoebe were in the same attic, at the same time and only Prue "smelled" Patty's "scent", yet Phoebe (despite being in the same room, as Prue) didn't "smell", anything. Does Prue have the better nose, and Phoebe needs to get her nosed checked? Or, was Prue "sensing" Patty, in that moment? |

After the "sniff test", Prue (herself) said she thinks (keyword) she's "sensing" Patty. Which, Phoebe thought Prue was too "stressed" and was "causing" these..."symptoms". That being said, I agree with you. |

So, I'm watching AHBL right now and I've got to the credits and all I can think about.. WTF. Yes, this is pretty much the universal FAVORITE EPISODE OF THE SEASON episode. The acting, especially between Shannen and Holly, is PURE OMG AMAZING! No doubt. The directing was brilliant (Shannen!). But as I'm watching the first five minutes, all I'm going is...either I need to majorly rewatch the first three seasons because I'm missing something, or WTF this makes no sense. Yes, I think we can all agree that Prue's Pride pretty much is what got her killed, but still.... The episode starts off with the girls and Dr. Griffiths coming to the Manor. All WE know is that Phoebe had a premonition. My question is, OF WHAT?! And WHY is THE SOURCE'S ASSASSIN after the doctor? There is NEVER an explanation for this. This is so RANDOM. I truly don't recall this happening before. Thoughts anyone? My theory was always that Tempus helped the Source,(oe tempus and the Source are the same...) see the future and The Source sent Shax to kill the doctor because he was going to heal Piper from that gun lady (wtf her name was.) With the doctor dead, he couldn't of helped Piper. Since he was one of the best doctors there. Like Prue said, it could of been he has saved too many innocents. Idrk. Thoughts on my Thought (LOL) |

Thoughts on my Thought (LOL) Perhaps the Oracle saw Piper of the Operating table being operated by Dr Griffths? Prue says "You are about to save a life that they don't want you to save". The Oracles visions weren't as accurate as the Seers and even the Source threatened the Seer to up her game lol! I liked the Oracle - I could have seen her seducing Cole to the dark side too and becoming Queen of the Underworld. |

The final season of prue and AHBL went out with a bang 2001 I saw Buffy and Xena die and Prue that summer was harsh on me But it was epic I loved that it went all out we had no idea we were mid action to start with then boom it all escalated This episode deserved Emmy recognition  |
