Charmed Without A Choice

It’s been a whole year since Paige, Piper, Phobeo and Billie saved the world, for good. Piper finally opened her restaurant, Phobeo finally found the lover of her dreams and Paige, well, Paige found someone who she could escape the world of magic from. Life seems perfect.

But nothing lasts forever.

The Elders inform the sisters that when they saved Wyatt from turning evil, something caused in the cosmic balance. Since Wyatt’s dark future was no more, the future had changed, including Piper and Leo’s future as a couple. It seems that in the future, they have another son, named Jake. But in the future, just after he was born, demons kidnapped him and where never to be seen with him again. However, the Elders were able to track him down and find out that he actually managed to escape when he was just a baby and was found on the streets, where he was taken to an orphanage and later adopted by a young couple. However, it seems that the demons were after him for a reason and kept on trying to find him, until they finally did, well, his adoptive parents at least.

With his adoptive parents murdered, the Elders knew that he was not safe in the future, especially with his powers still dormant. So the Elders assign the sisters and the others to protect him until they can find out just what’s after him. But on one rule. They can never tell him that they are his family. What are the Elders up to? Just what do the demons want? And can the Halliwells bare to keep such a secret from Jake ,when they may never get the chance to see him after their mission is complete?


*Okay, so basically, you can choose from several characters, this role play will last quite a while and may have some strong scenes, so please, be prepared for some sadness as well as happiness.

I know you said we don't have to make a prifile for new characters, but I'll make one anyway, if that's ok...

Name: Draydon Weber

Powers: Aerokynesis (Includes "Air Balls", Teleportation through the wind, ability to create tornadoes (higher level), extra agility)
Connection to the Charmd Ones: Draydon lives next door to the Halliwells, yet does not know they are witches yet, and vice versa.

The Elders had just landed their bombshell on the Halliwell family and stood their motionlessly with little emotions on their faces as always. They knew that in order to protect Jake, they would have to bring him to the past, but they were also telling the Halliwell family to not only not grow attached to him but to not even tell them who they really were, to most that would seem crazy but to the Elders, it was for the great good and of course, that came first, no wonder Leo left them.


"You all must understand, if he was to known of his true origins, he could lose control and risk losing him in the process, you must not tell him who you are, you must just keep him safe and tell him you are here to protect him, that is all you can do, it is all we can allow you to do" stated one of the Elders, old by appearence with a grey, short beard as he glanced at the sisters and Leo and everyone else surronding them.


"We know it is a lot to ask and you are not...fond of us right now, but we must do all of this to ensure balance is restored" stated one of the other Elders, younger looking but still middle aged, most of them were. All of them gazed at the family with silent eyes, awaiting a response to their request.

"Don't worry we will" Piper's voice sounded as if she was about to cry, she looked at Leo. "Don't worry I can handle it. I was able to handle Chris' issue I can handle Jake's." She turned to look at the Elders. "We'll do as you shall ask and no more..." She turned to look at her sisters. " And we promise not to tell him a word, now leave us alone we need to get ready, please." She went and sat down in the sofa. "Leo, please tell your friends to leave."

Sweetie, you already broke the first rule, I know that rules can suck but they are there for a reason.

Draydon pulled into his driveway after a long day at school, and was fully ready to kick back, relax, and watch some television. Of course this would be quite impossible due to the fact that he had mountains of homework to do and not alot of time to do them. As he walked through the door of his house, he called out to anyone that might be home, "Hello! Anyone here?" No reply. That mean he was home alone, which happened quite often it seemed.

Sitting down on the couch, he turned on the tv and began his homework. Five minutes in, however, he said, "Screw this." And chanted a spell that he wrote just yesterday:

Piles of homework that i have to do
Finish yourself in minutes, two

Sure, it was a bit juvenile, but it work. Draydon sat back as he watched his pencil balance on a point and scribble down vocabulary, math, and some science. Looking at his watch, Draydon counted down from 3, 2, 1, and the pencil lay flat as it finished its last stroke. "Exactly two minutes," Draydon said with a smirk on his face. Of course a second after that, his dog Lona jumped up onto the table and ripped it to shreds before he could do anything about it. "Dangit, personal gain. I hate it." So he sat back and began his homework again, I mean, was he really going to say his dog ate his homework?

OOC: Sorry it's a little boring, but its just the beginning and I swear I'm not usually boring.

The Elders watched Piper react as they had expected and they would silently orb out of the manor, knowing the family would need some time to get to grips with what they had learnt, Jake was somewhere in the future and they would have to find him before a demon did.


A young of no more then fourteen or fifteen stumbled down the street, his hair was strawberry blonde just like Piper's Gram's, it glistened in the sun as his bright, hazel eyes stared at the unfamilar streets. He was not the tallest for his age but his body remained slim with a double sleeved, black and white hoodie covered his chest with a pair of old, faded blue jeans and white trainers covered his body.

By appearence he had definetly inherited different things from the Halliwell's, his eyes were Piper's eyes, yet his facial structure was similar to Leo's and Chris. But at the moment all Jake was, was a boy, lost in a place he didn't know as he walked down the streets of San Fransico.

The day had become a nightmare, he had been walking home with his friends from school and he had gone down one of the quiter roads to get home after his friends had gotten the bus when he found some guy following him, he had started to run after he had gotten to close but the man had just followed and had transformed into a horrible blue faced creature and before he knew it, Jake was running for his life and would have been caught if he had not dissapered in a set of bright white lights. Now, he was in place he had no clue about and was becoming scared and feeling very much alone. As he slowly walked through one of the many streets, he noticed today's paper on the floor, but he did not even have to pick it up, eyes widened with fear and confusion as his face paled at the date.

He was fifteen years in the past.


He backed away slightly from his spot, not believing what he was seeing as he spun around, staring at everyone who walked by, Jake's heart rate quickened and fear gripped his body as he was finding it hard to breath, this couldn't be happening!

I'll also be older Chris, so magic again.

Piper went upstairs into her bedroom and layed down on her bed. "Why does everything has to happen to me? First the Wyatt's dark future, then Chris and now this?" She fell asleep for a while, and when she woke up 2 hours had gone by, she sat on her bed and looked at the door, Chris went past it and then slowly moved back to the door, he stood there and looked at his mom.
"Mom, are you OK?" He asked and sat beside her on her bed. "Is this about Jake?"
Piper groaned and placed her head on Chris' shoulder and started crying.
"Why thing don't things like this don't happen to Phoebe or Paige? Why me?" She kept crying and Chris tried to comfort her.
"Mom, I promess everything's going to be alright. I promess."
They sat there, Chris kept holding his mom and Piper kept crying not sure if things were going to be alright. How was she going to lie to him knowing that he was blood of her blood?

Jake had spent the last two hours just trying to get by, he was scared, really scared, he had no idea where he was and for all he knew, he was dead to the world, I mean, it wasn't everyday you took a trip into the past. He closed his eyes, his stomach feeling sick at just the thought of it all, how could this happen?? It was impossible...it had to be a dream....a big joke...maybe he was on television....

But as the hours went by, he knew the thruth, he was lost in the past as he walked down the streets, not even realising he was only a few streets away from the infamous Halliwell Manor and little did he know he was being followed. His throat felt sore for no reason, his head was throbbing and he felt like he would pass out as he leaned against the wall and lowered his gaze, how did this all happen? Why him?? Why now???

After Draydon finally finished his homework, which took him much longer than usual, he stepped outside to get the mail. Walkinh back inside, he sifted through the mail and saw one labels "The Halliwells". "Crap, I got some of there mail again." And it did seem to happen alot, as thought something kept bringing him to their home. Draydon walked to the manor and knocked on the door, and waited. After waiting for awhile, he deemed the Halliwell manor vacant and left a note telling them that he had some of there mail. After taping the note to the door, Draydon walked back to his house to get ready for work that night.

Chris was about to leave the manor when he saw Draydon's note, he went back in and called his mom, who was more calmed now.
"What happened?" Piper asked as she went down and saw Chris there with the piece of paper in his hand.
"Draydon has our mail again." He said and handed the note to Piper who read it and looked at Chris.
"Why don't you go and get the mail?" Piper asked and looked straight into Chris' eyes.
"You know I don't like him, mom. I feel like he's hiding us something, I don't trust him."
"Well, we also hide stuff from people, honey." Piper said and went into the kitchen. Chris went into the living room and looked outside the window at Draydon's house.
"I'll go for the mail later" He said, and went out of the house.

Jake tried to keep himself calm as he slowly pushed himself off the wall and continued down the street, running his hands through his hair as he would continue walking not even really thinking about where he was going as eh bumped right into Chris, he felt strange when it happened, like somenthing magentic pulled him to the older man but he tried to ignore it and looked up at him but paused, he looked familar...but..from where?


"Sorry...didn't see where I was going" he said slowly as he turned around and began to continue walking, something felt weird and he turned his shoudler to look at the other again before he slowly continued walking, running up his arm as he tried to focus his scattered thoughts, his head pounding as he tried to think straight but failed misreably. Everything felt twisted and messed up no matter what way he looked at it and he was trying hard not to break down.

Chris also felt something strange that pulled him to the boy and he had seen him before but where? It took him a while to realize who the boy was, then it hit him on the face, the boy was Jake!! He turned to look and still could see the siloute of the boy walking down the street. He had no idea what to do, but if he let him go his mother was not going to forgive him. He then started running down the street towards Jake. He didn't yell because he knew that he was going to scare him away.

He felt his heart beat really hard and the air going through his hair, but ha wasn't going to stop until he reached Jake., no he wasn't. He finally got to where Jake was.
"Wait!" He said and placed his hand on his shoulder. "We need to talk."

Jake spun around in reaction as he felt the hand on his shoulder and as a follow up reaction he spun kick right into Chris, forcing the other off of him. But his eyes widened when he realised who he had kicked in the stomach. Unfortunatley a cop happened to be close by and saw the incident and took out his small club. "Hey kid!" he yelled and Jake froze and looked at Chris. "Sorry!" he yelled at the stranger and dashed down the street as the cop yelled after him as he ran down into one of the many underground car parks panting for breath.

He looked around his surrondings, it was dark and dingy and quiet in here, but he could lay low here until the cop was gone, he just hoped that the other guy he had attacked could not somehow find him, but unlikley, unless he was some kind of magic being, pfft, yeah right! Jake was completely oblivious to the fact that a certain demon lurked in the darkness of the car park, ready to strike down the witch before he could meet the Halliwells.

"Poor Piper", Paige thought while she layed on her bed . "... of course my life isn't always easy, too... but eveytime when everything seems to be perfect in her life- something bad happens..." She sighed.
Suddenly Paige remembered that she wanted to buy a present for a friend- so she stood up and searched for her bag. After this she went upstairs. Before she left the house, she had a short look at Piper. "She looks like she cryed... maybe i have to talk with her later...".
Than she left the manor and went into the city.

Jake tried his best to catch his breath as he placed a hand on his stomach before slowly rising to his feet as he looked around slowly, wondering what he would do next, when he heard a strange rustling noise and he spun around, his eyes fixed on the area around him. "Whose there?" he called out as his voice echoed through the parking lot, he could feel something was wrong, he just got a bad feeling, like someone was watching him...but who?

Suddenly, he felt a gust of wind and he spun around to see a strange looking creature appear in the wind with blue skin. Shaix! The Source's assain, the one who had killed Prue snarled at Jake whose eyes were wide before the demon through a large ball of blue light and as a reaction Jake thrust his hands in front of him and without knowing it, he dissapered in blue and white orbs and the light passed and he re-appeared again, shocked that he had somehow survived.

Chris was still on the ground when the policeman approached him. "Are you alright?" The man asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Chris said and started walking away from the policeman, when he finally got to a safe place he orbed out focusing on Jake. He got to the parking lot and saw Jake there. He hid behind a car and looked at Jake, he looks a lot like mom, Chris thought. Chris looked around and realized that behind Jake there was a burnt spot on the wall of the parking lot.
"Great a demon attacked him already. Mom is going to kill me." He whispered. "I should approah him and try to talk to him."
He started walking as silently as he could and when he was close enough to Jake he placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I'll take you somewhere safe" He said and without waiting any response he orbed Jake out of there.
