Charmed Without A Choice

"Are saying that my son can become evil? And I thought that it stopped with Wyatt." She said.
"No, Piper what Prue is trying to say is that not even The Source posses that power and if you're not evil it's a big burden for you, mostly because it comes out at your worse moment." Leo said.
"So, when Jake did that thing before he left, that was a dark power?" Chris asked and looked at his father.
"No, that was not a dark power, it was just a diferent type of power. No one has possesed it in centuries and believe me it is a relly desired power. That's a huge reason that we should extra-protect Jake without telling him, who he really is." Leo said and looked at Piper.
"I still don't get no matter how hard you try to explain it." She said and looked at Chris. "Do you know what they're talking about?" Chris nodded a no.

Prue sighed and tried to break it down. "Okay, think of it as this, light and darkness, both are neither evil nor good, it's how you use the power, the brighest light can blind you, just as the deepest darkness can as well, you saw what happened when Gideon shifted the balance and there was too much good, not a pretty picture, Jake has possed the power of darkness because his heart and his soul is able to withstand the darkness and to be able to use it to it's own advantage, but the problem is, that if you want to use the power without it consuming you, you have to work hard at it and it almost becomes a burden to remain good and to use the power for good, it's like if a demon had the power of light" explained Prue and she sighed.


"That's why the demons went after him when he was a baby, to corrupt himn, make him evil and so they would have the power of darkness on their side" she stated and sighed heavily. "All that pain and suffering for power, we're just lucky that it didn't turn Jake because he was found by the orphanage..." she trailed off.

"Oh, got it." Piper said, she looked at the grandfather clock in the living room. "Almost midnight." She said. "Prue, do you have the slightiest idea of why my power didn't work?"
"Piper, I don't think that it is time to ask that now." Leo said. "I think that we should all go to bed now and discuss that in the morning." Leo looked at Chris.
"You know, I am a little tired!" He sighed. "I'll see you tomorrow." He was about to go upstairs when Piper stopped him.
"Hold it right there, Christopher Perry Halliwell!" She said in her angry voice. "Both of you know something that I don't and I want to know it. Now!" She said at Leo and Chris.
"Well, Piper, Chris doesn't know. So I don't think he should stay here." Leo said.
"Fine, you can go." She said to Chris. Leo was looking at Prue. "Now both of you explain!" She said after Chris went upstairs.

Prudence blinked at Piper's certain attack on Chris but slowly waved it off when he was let off the hook and she opened her mouth to speak and laughed nervously and rubed the back of her neck. "Well I do not know if this is the thruth but...maybe...it's possible that your powers are wonky because well....Jake is interfering...in your belly" she said slowly, unsure if she was even right of if she had even made herself clear if she was right.


Jake shivered on his bed as he shook slightly curled up in a ball as he rocked slowly back and forth, his mind still a mess from everything as he tried to focus on sleeping which failed.

"What?" Piper said looking at Leo. "I am pregnant of Jake, right now?" Leo nodded. "I need to sit down." She sat down on the couch and looked at her sister. "You knew I was already pregnant, before I knew? I can't believe this. I feel like when Chris came from the future."
"Well it is sord of the same. Don't you think?" Leo said and Piper gave him a fierce look.

Chris was walking towards his room but he stopped in front of the one Jake was. He felt really sorry for his brother and what bothered him the most was that he could not tell him the truth. He was wondering if he was asleep, he stood in front of the door a couple of minutes, wondering if Jake was really OK as Prue had said when she went downstairs about 45 minutes ago.

Prue paused and slowly waved her hand in front of Piper. "Uh, hello? Earth to Piper? You're pregnant, shouldn't it be cheering and dancing around time?" she asked with an amused look as she wrapped an arm around Piper's shoulder. "Come on, stop worrying about the fate of the world for a second and take a moment to realize in nine months you will have a another screaming child keeping you and Leo up all night" she smiled and sighed happily, clearly teasing her sisiter.


Jake may have been overally okay, but at the moment he was shakimg slightly and curling up into a ball to try and keep himself calm as he tried to sleep through the night, but memoris came back to haunt him, memories that brought back the relization that his foster parents really were dead.

(wooow, you all wrote so much xD it's a little bit hard for me now to get into the story again with paige and phoebe, but i try it somheow ^^... i guess the problem is the time because you have a complete other time than i have here in germany ^^ and there's also a little other problem xD i won't be there the next three days... and i think that this could be a big problem if you write so much like now )


After Chris, Leo, Piper and Prue went to jake, paige and phoebe were alone at the manor. They sat next to each other for a very long time without speaking... they just sat there like they're stones... they tried to handle the things which happened some time ago.
After a long time without talking to each other Paige pulled herself together and looked at phoebe: oh my god... i'm so confused... where are they? they are away since such a long time... maybe something bad happened?"
"me, too... but don't worry, i would feel it if something really bad would have happened... maybe jake is just stolid like everytime- just like piper", phoebe laughed insecure.
Paige forced herself to laugh with her, but she was disturbed. Phoebe noticed that and took her into her arms.
"Heeey little sis'... don't be so disturbed..."
"I'm not...-" "-yes you are... you should know after all this time that i feel something like this", she said with a calme voice.
"I know... your empathy...-" "-no... well, this too... but it's not just my empathy that makes me feel this... i'm your sister- and you know how deep our connection is..."
"you're right", paige smiled. "Ouch!"
"are you okay?"
"no... my head... it's just too much for me today... it feels like my head will blast...", paige said while she hold her head in her hands.
"Paige, listen... i guess you should go to bed right now- and i don't want to hear any protest! I'll wait in my room of the others... if we need you, i'll wake you up, so don't worry... everything will be allright", phoebe said and smiled soft at her.

"Eye, eye sir... thanks sister..."; Paige said and gave Phoebe a kiss at her front.
"sleep well "
"thanks, you too"

Paige went upstairs into her room. She lay down and fell asleep very soon.

Phoebe went also into her room- she wanted to work a little bit. Some time later she woke up. "Oh no, i fell asleep", she said unhappy. Suddenly she heard someone at the floor. She went outside her room and saw chris standing next to jake's door.

"Chris, you are ok", Phoebe smiled and embraced him. "paige is sleeping, she had a really bad headache... and i... i wanted to work a little bit in my room- but i fell asleep... well... could tell me what happened? is everything ok with you and the others?"

well, i just wanted to say goodbye, i'll be back in 2 1/2 days... sooo i won't stop you all in your creative writing... but it would be great if you won't write soooooooo much, because otherwise i would have a really big problem ;D ;D ;D

Chris nodded at Phoebe. "Yes, everything is fine. I just wanted to make sure that he was OK." He said and went into his bedroom, the one next to Jake's.

Piper was looking at Prue and at Leo back and forth.
"Prue, it is not that I am not happy. It is just that don't you think it will be a little weird to have baby Jake and old Jake at the same house? And what about when they kidnap him?" Piper looked at Leo and her eyes filled with tears."How will I handle that?"
"You've handeled worst, honey." Leo said and sat down next to her. "Everything's gonna be alright, I promess."

Jake seemed to calm down in his sleep slightly and he finally drifts off into a much more pleasent sleep as his eyes closed and he curled silently into a small ball as he tugged at the covers that covered at his body, he looked so innocent, so pure, just like the child he had never got to be.


"Piper I known it's tough, but we are in this together, because that's what families do, come one you have a husband who would rather chew his own foot off then see anyone hurt you or your boys, you have got the power of three and not to mention three sisters including myself who will protect you until the end of the world, not to mention a son whose whole world revolves around his family, you are going to get through this, you are all going to get another chance with Jake" she said softly and lowered her eyes. "Yet...the Elders wanted me to tell you...that, they have an idea that somehow, someone may have brought Gideon back from the dead, it is just a theory, but they think he might be involved in with whoever kidnaps Jake" she said softly knowing that both's hatred for Gideon would probably take over their emotions, especially Leo.

"I should've guess that." Piper said and looked at Leo. "Wasn't it enough with Wyatt? No, he has to try to get to Jake as well. I sware that if I see him, I am going to kick him so hard that it'll hurt for thousands od years." Piper said and anger was shown on her eyes.
"Piper, realx! We're not going to let Gideon touch Jake. We're all going to make sure of that." Leo said.
"Well, there's another thing we need to get sure of." Piper said now more calmed.
"What's that?"
"that Chris doesn't die this time." Piper said.
"That won't happen." Leo said.
"How are you so sure?" Piper said and looked at the other side of the room.

Prue sighed as she watched Piper and took her hands into hers. "Piper, we won't let it happen and besides, we have cavalry coming in sooner or later, it seems that the Elders will allow us to seek the help from other's in our future in past, but until they are certain Gideon is a threat, we have to remain calm, he can't get to Jake as long as we stick together, besides, Jake is way too much like you guys to be tricked by Gideon, I can see something in Jake's eyes, I see Piper in his eyes, your determination, your passion and in his smile, the one smile he has given us, it was all Leo, it was the same kind smile Leo gave you when you first met him and the smile he gives you every day, you just have to keep strong and know we are here for you" said Prue softly and she smiled gently.

"You just have to have a little faith, besides, do you really think the second he hears about Gideon that Chris is going to let Jake out of his sight?" she asked with amusement and slowly wrinkled her nose as she smiled, the way she had done when she was a witch, some things really never do change.

"Knowing, Chris? I doubt it." Leo said.
"what do you mean by that?" Piper said and looked at Leo.
"Well, honey, let's just say that all 3 of our kids inherited your stuborness." He said and laughed.
"Hey!" Piper said.

Meanwhile Chris was laying on his bed, thinking about this whole day. The way he had encountered Jake and the impostor, but most of all, and what shocked him the most was his Aunt Prue's appearance. He had always heard that he had some of her in him, but as she wasn't there he wasn't able to prove it, but now...
"It'd be better if I'd try to get some sleep, tomorrow's gonna be a long day." He said and rolled over.

Morning would come faster then Jake would have liked, but he was awake anyway, so it didn't really matter. His eyes staring at the floor, his mind going back to yesterday as he closed his eyes and sighed heavily and slowly rose to his feet, not caring about changing his clothes when he slowly began to walk out the room, but something caught his eyes and he paused slowly and turned his head slightly and his eyes caught a stairwell, going up, curiosity over took him and he slowly began to climb the stairs and he noticed that there was just one door and he slowly walked through and looked around curiously, it was an attic of some sorts, definetly needed cleaning, but what caught his eyes was an old book at the center. Curiously he walked to it and placed his hand on it and slowly opened the book.


He curiously skimmed through the book until suddenly it started flipping on it's own and landed on the "Duplication Spell." Curiously he began to speak out loud.

"I call upon the magic we share
Let my soul across the air
Divde in three, my seperate parts
Let three together, create on heart"

Suddenly a bright gold light filled Jake and he suddenly felt very light headed and he stumbled back and suddenly, in a blink of an eye, there were three Jake's, eyes all wide, all three looked at each other and turned to Prue who was at the door, eyes wide having seen the whole thing.

"Piper! Leo! Problem!" she yelled as she quickly walked over to the three Jake's. "What happened?!" she demanded and Jake(1) rolled his eyes and waved it off. "Just an accident, read out a rhyme or something"

"A rhyme!? Oh god no, you read out a spell!?"

"Are we gonna get grounded" pouted Jake(2) and Prue gave a confused look and her eyes widened, not only had it split Jake's body but also his personalities!

"OMG!" Piper yelled as she saw Jake, well the 3 Jakes. Leo came in behind her. He looked at all of the Jakes.
"What happened?" He said looking at Piper.
"Apparently, mister I read rhymes aloud, casted a spell. And if I'm not wrong it was the Duplication one." Piper said pointing at the Jakes. "Now, it will be even harder to look after him." Piper said, all of the sudden Chris orbed in.
"Hey, I heard you guys speaking up here, do yo have any...." He then realized the 3 Jakes. "Whoa! What's going on here?"
"Jake casted a little unharmless spell." Leo said.
"Yeah, very little and very unharmless." Piper said in her sarcastic voice.
The 3 of them kept looking at the 3 Jakes.

"Oh calm down lady, don't get your knickers in a twist it was just a spell" stated Jake(1) as he rolled his eyes and got to his feet and Jake(2) watched silently for a few seconds, clearly he was the one who was most similar to the original Jake, though slightly different, quiter, his eyes softer while the third Jake was bouncing on the spot.

"It's boring here! Do you have any cakes? Or cookies? Or cookies and cakes? Or cookies with cakes?" he grinned the thrid as he hopped on the spot and Prue just stared in shock. "Okay..clearly it split his personality's as well as his soul..so I am guessing that we could simply call for the souls to be put back-where did the first Jake go?" she asked sunddely seeing that the rude Jake had already walked downstairs and was heading to the front door, following quickly by Prue.

"Hey! Where are you going mister?" demanded Prue and Jake(1) turned around and rolled his eyes. "To go to a place with a little more life and a little less dull" he replied and the hyperactive Jake and the quite Jake followed suit. "Ohhh! Can we go to the zoo! I love the zoo! I love the zoo! Don't you love the zoo?" he asked curiously to nobody in partciualr as he bounced on the spot.

"Why does this remids me of when Prue casted that same spell?" Piper said looking at her sister.
"Aunt Prue casted that spell?" Chris asked adn Piper nodded. "How were you able to distinguish the 3 Prues?" Chris asked looking curious.
"We gave them a different sweater to each one of them, in fact I rememeber that Andy found one of the Prues dead and called us really sad." Piper said and giggled. "Then when Phoebe asked what color of sweater was she wearing and it wasn't the color of the real Prue she almost yelled OMG!" Piper said and giggled again.
"Well, why don't we do the same thing with Jake?" Chris said.
"Yeah, sure try to put him a sweater on, if he won't even trust us!" Piper said.

After the little episode with the Halliwells, nothing much had happened of significance. He decided it was time to go back and demand an explanation from them. So with this decision he walked over to the manor for what seemed like the hundreth time. Once again, he heard raised voices, except this time they were coming from the attic and there seemed to be alot more people in the house this time. Not caring for what they were saying, Draydon rang the doorbell a few times and pounded the door untilsome one answered.

Piper heard the doorbell and looked outside the window to see who it was.
"OMG!" She said and Leo and Chris came towards her. "It's Draydon. What are we going to say to him?" Piper said looking at Leo and Chris back and forth and then looking at all the Jakes.
"What do you mean by what are we going to say to him?" Leo asked Piper sounding confussed.
"He was here yesterday during the Shax attack. He saw us use our powers." Piper said and looked at Draydon outhere waiting. "I guess that he wants an explanation." Piper said and turned to look at Leo and Chris.
"I'll handle him, mom. You and dad and Aunt Prue take care of Jake." He turned to look at Jake. "Well all of them."
Chris went downstairs and opened the door.
"Yes?" He said looking at Draydon.

Draydon continued knocking as he heard someone approach. The door opened and Draydon was now facing Chris. "Umm..." Draydon said, not exactly sure of what he was going to say. "Can I talk to you guys?" He said as nicely as possible, knowing full well that Chris didn't really like him. "Just about what happened, here, with the demon. Look," Draydon said with a little more confidence, "I saw everything, I know you guys are witches, and I'm telling you that I'm a witch too. I know you don't like me, but I really need to talk to all of you, so can i please come in?" Draydon finished his mini-rant and waited for Chris's answer, hoping that he wouldn't slam the door in his face.
