Charmed Without A Choice

Piper ran towards Jake, and kneeled next to Prue. "Jake, Jake" She said and took Jake's hand. "I am just glad he's alright" She said and started to cry. Leo was standing behind Piper, he had a smile on his face, Phoebe was next to Leo. "Where are Wyatt and Chris?" she asked, Leo looked at her. "They're coming" He answered.

Chris looked at Wyatt, who came towards Chris. "Are you alright?" Wyatt asked and Chris looked at him. "Yeah, we should probably go to see how Jake is doing" He said and orbed out. Wyatt looked around and saw the athame there, he picked it up and looked around him. "I am sure there won't be a next time, Gideon" He said with all the hate in the world.

Jake blinked in suprise and made an 'oof' sound as he was clung to be Piper. "Piper...breathing....becoming...difficult" he groaned out and tried to wiggle away and Paige and Prue laughed softly and Prue helped Piper up slowly, squeezing her hand in comfort. "Come on you, relax, he's fine" she smiled and Paige gave a wink to Jake. "Don't worry about it, Piper is just the Mother Goose, she has to fret over everyone."


The minute Wyatt and Chris orbed back, Melinda and Leola would hit them both over the heads. "If you ever scare us again like that, I swear to god, I will kick you into the last decade!" declared Leola.

Wyatt and Chris covered their head as quickly as they could. "Sorry for wanting you to be safe" Wyatt said and rubbed his head. Chris did the same as he approcahed Jake. "How are you?" He asked to Jake and looked at everyone near them. Leo looked at the whole scene and then at Piper. "Relax, honey!"Leo said and looked at Piper, who smiled and then turned to look at all their her kids there. "Can you believe this?" She asked and looked at Leo.

Wyatt looked at Leola and then at Melinda, he watched as Chris approached Jake. He followed him. "Hey, Jake." Wyatt said and stood next to Chris. Phoebe looked at the whole Wyatt-Chris dialogues to Jake. "Sometimes men are so cold" She said to Prue and Paige.

"They are men, what can I tell ya? They would rather bundle it all inside" Paige sighed and Prue nodded. "But more then likley they will have some kind of emotional breakdown soon, after all, they are very common in this family" grinned Prue to Phoebe.


Jake looked around him before blinking at Chris and Wyatt, smiling at Chris before looking at Wyatt and blinking. "Oh right, I don't think we met...I'm Jake...you are?" he asked. Melinda lowered her gaze and Leola visibly winced, poor Wyatt. His youngest sibling did not even recognize him.

Wyatt looked at Jake. "I am Wyatt, I am Chris' brother" He said and looked at Chris, he suddenly was bumped. "I think I'll go and talk to mom or something" He said and walked away towards his mother. Chris looked at Wyatt and was about to follow him, but he knew that Wyatt would want him to stay. "So, how are you?" He asked.

Wyatt came up to Piper and Leo, who looked at him. "What happened?" Piper asked and looked at Leo. "Nothing" Wyatt said. "When a Halliwell says nothing, something is wrong" Leo said and looked at his son. "What's wrong?" He then asked. "It's all fine, Jake is fine and Chris is fine and Mel is fine, is there anything else that needs to be fine?" Wyatt answered.

Jake nodded slowly and opened his mouth to speak to Wyatt, but he was already gone and he frowned but slowly looked at Chris and paused. "It was weird...I could feel myself fading away....like I was floating and I started to forget everything....but I heard a voice...Piper and Leo's voices and I was just....awake again, like for just a second...everything would be okay, just by hearing their voices..." he trailed off slowly.


Prue looked at Wyatt and looked at Paige and Phoebe. "I think Jake not knowing Wyatt is taking a worse tole on him then he is letting out" she said softly and Paige nodded. "Wyatt is the oldest of Piper and Leo's kids and for your youngest sibling not to even know your existance...can't be easy to take."

Chris looked at Jake and understood the feeling, when he was a little kid, his parents voices always suited him. "Well, maybe it is because you trust them" He said and looked at the place where his parents were, he then looked back at Jake. "The importanat thing is that you're alright now" He added and smiled at Jake, he then looked at Melinda and Leola and smiled at them too. "Sorry about what happened down there, Wyatt and me wanted you to be safe"

Phoebe heard Prue and nodded. "Well, at least Wyatt sord of understands that Jake doesn't really know him in this time line" She said and looked at Wyatt, who was between Piper and Leo. "At least I hope he does" She then added.

Jake rolled his eyes. "Careful, I only just come to terms with the fact that you aren't evil, trust comes later, besides, until five minutes ago there was a hole in my chest that did not help your case with me trusting you" he stated but smiled slightly. Leola glared and waved a finger at him. "That is no exuse! Men and their macho like ways! I swear to god I am going to go lesbian if men don't start to grow up!" declared Leola causing Jake to laugh out loud, the first laugh he had let out, he had Leo's genuine, tooth filled smile.

Paige gave a very amused look towards her future niece but slowly turned to Phoebe and nodded. "I think deep down he does, it is just whether he listens to that voice inside or not, still, it can't be easy on any of them, Piper, Leo, Chris, Melinda or Wyatt, I know I feel awful about not being able to get close to Jake, imagine how they feel."

Chris looked at Jake and laughed. "I know, but maybe deep down inside you do trust us, way deep down iniside" He said and then heard Leola's comment and laughed.

Piper also head Leola's comment and looked at Leo. "Like mother, like daughter" She said and Leo laughed. "I am not surprised by Leola's comment, she has made worse" Wyatt said and Leo looked at him. "I bet, she is really Phoebe's daughter, there is no doubt in that" Leo said and smiled to Wyatt, who smiled back.

Phoebe heard Leola and looked at her. "Well someone inherited my sassynes" She said and then heard Paige. "Jake is just like Piper they have a though skin, but eventually it breaks" She said.

Jake rolled his eyes playfully. "Yeah, yeah, keep dreaming, now help me up, it's partly your fault I am like this" he smiled and clung onto Chris's hand and rose to his feet.

Leola bowed her head to the family. "Thank you, thank you, I'm here till tuesday!" she stated, blowing kisses to her "audience" and Melinda smiled slowly and grinned gently. "Besides, me and my charm is what keeps this family livley and I also keep the boys in check, by kicking their ass in soccer or any sport really" said Leola and Melinda grinned. "It's true, even Wyatt is no match for Leola in sports."


"Oh god, I hope he is not as neurotic as Piper while growing up, We already have Chris to play the role of the neurotic child" smiled Paige.

Chris helped Jake up and then looked at Leola, who was bowing, he laughed, as well as Piper,Leo, Phoebe and Wyatt. "You should be a comedian, cos"Wyatt said as he laughed, he then heard Melinda's comment of sports. "I am not bad, I just let her win" He said and sat down.

"Admit it, Wyatt. She can kick your butt at any sport, besides you hate soccer" Chris said and Phoebe giggled. "Somebody is busted" She whispered to Leola and Melinda. Chris then heard Paige's comment. "I am not neurotic, I just like everyone to be alright" He said to his aunt and looked at his mother. "just like mom" He added and Piper looked at him. "You're not etting me into this arguement, Chris" Piper said and sat down.

Melinda giggled at Phoebe's comment and Leola placed a hand on her chest. "I think you are forgetting my extreme graceful talent for knocking a guy twice my size down in a sport" she stated and Melinda gave an amused look. "Now you know why guys act strange around you Leola, they think you're going to beat them to a pulp" she grinned and Leola huffed and folded her arms over her chest. "Oh come on that was two times! Besides, I can't help it if the ways of the tomboy cry out to me!" she declared.

Paige raised an eyebrow in amusement and looked at Phoebe. "Wow, you are going to have fun with this one Pheebs" she said and Leola stuck her tongue out. "You know you love my oddness" she stated. Prue smiled and walked over to Chris and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Your right Chris, your not neurotic...just slightly insane" she stated in a playfull tone and Jake could not help but smile at the close bond the family seemed to share.

Piper and Leo laughed and laughed over the comments. Phoebe did too. "I know, Paige. But let her be" She said to her sister and smiled. Chris looked at his aunt Prue and gave a mug smile. "Funny, aunt Prue" He said and sat down mad on the chair next to Wyatt.

Phoebe looked at everyone. "I have an idea, why don't we go back to the manor and eat something, I am starving!" She said and looked at Piper. "Fine, I'll cook" She said and smiled. Leo turned to look at Chris. "They're just joking" He said to his sons. "You know how they are, sometimes they let their inner teenager get out" He said and Chris and Wyatt smiled and looked at their aunts.

"Ohhh, food, yes! I haven't had Aunt Piper's cooking in forever!" stated Leola, already delighted by the idea. "No offense to mom, but she can't cook to save her life and I sadly inherited her sucky kitchen skills" pouted the teenager and Melinda rolled her eyes and smiled. "I'll help mom, I'm good in the kitchen" she said to Piper.

"Oh I thought it rather was, but hey, nothing wrong with being like Piper, she certainly had no trouble with getting cute guys, maybe you won't either Chris or cute girls, whatever floats your boat" she teased and Paige raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Prue, no questioning your nephews sexuality before dinner" she said and Prue pouted playfully "No fair."

"Sure" Piper said to Melinda and smiled at her. Chris and Wyatt were sitting there and laughing until they heard Prue's comment. Chris looked up and Wyatt looked at him. He could feel his brother getting mad.

"Realx!" he whispered to Chris, who inmediatly orbed out before hearing Paige's comment. Wyatt looked at Prue. "That really p*sses him off, aunt Prue" He said and looked arouns. "At school, people teases Chris because he likes to cook, he hates that" He said and left the room storming out.

Piper looked at Leo and then at everyone. "Guess no one os more in the mood for eating" She said.

Prue instantly felt bad about what she said and lowered her gaze and Paige opened her mouth to reassure Prue that she didn't know, but Prue simply orbed away to find Chris and Paige groaned. "Okay, I think we should just head home and have some food, Prue will bring Chris back, but for now I think we should all just head back"

Jake was unsure what he should say to all of this if anything, it was all a little overwhelming and so he would just remain wisley silent for the moment.

Prue finally found Chris and called out. "Chris! Wait! I am sorry, I didn't know!" she called out and quickly walked towards him. "I was only kidding Chris, I guess I just didn't know, I have had to miss a lot of my families life and I just didn't realise it would hurt you" she said softly as she watched him with sad, regretful eyes.

Piper looked at everyone that was left in the room. "Yeah, Paige is right. We should get back and I am sure Prue and Chris will be there" She said and poked Leo's ribs. "Right" Leo said and looked at everyone. "We should probably get going" He said and looked at Piper who nodded in agreement.

Chris heard Prue behind him, so he walked faster, he then heard her apologies. "It's all right" he said in the most cold voice, he could put and then orbed out. He then orbed into his room at the manor. He started to kick things and yell. "Whoah! You really need and anger managment sesion" Wyatt said in the door. "Go to hell" Chris answered and pushed Wyatt outside the door with his power and closed the door soon after.

Prue winced at the tone, but did not give up and orbed in after him and appeared in front of him. "I know you are upset Chris, but don't take it out on Wyatt, I'm the bad guy here, come on Chris, don't hold it in, tell me how you feel, show me how you feel!" she encouraged.


Paige took Piper and Phoebe's hand and orbed away. Melinda took Leola's hand and Leo's hand and Jake took Leo's free hand and they orbed away in a pink, cupid light, into the sitting room and Jake groaned slowly and took a step back, slightly dizzy. "I am never getting used to teleporting.."

Wyatt orbed back into Chris' room, his hand was all red. Chris looked at him and then at Prue, he then sighed, apparently using his powers and take it out on someone made him feel better. "i'm sorry" Chris said and looked at Wyatt and then at Prue. "It is just that what you said brought me back really bad high school memories" He added and smiled at his aunt and brother. "I am really sorry" He said and Wyatt looked at him. "It's alright, Chris. What are brothers if once in a while they don't take it out on each other" Wyatt said and gently tapped Chris' back.

Piper and Phoebe were in the living room when they saw Jake, Melidna, Leola and Leo teleport in. Leo looked at Jake. "Don't worry, that makes us two that hate teleporting" He said and sat down on the couch. Piper and Phoebe giggled, Piper then looked at Melinda. "Come on, Melinda. Let's go to the kitchen and start making dinner" She said and went into the kitchen.

Prue smiled softly and walked over and slowly walked over and hugged Chris close. "Don't worry sweetie, that is the past, besides, they were clearly jelouse of you, look how handsome you turned out! You are definetly Piper's child" she smiled, noticing how much Chris took after his mother.


"Sure, just make sure Leola doesn't get into the kitchen, she atcually managed to set cereal on fire" stated Melinda and Leola threw her hands in the air. "That was one time! Besides! How was I supposed to know you can't leave cereal on a hot stove!" she declared and Paige could not helt but laugh out loud. "Forget related to Phoebe, this one could be Phoebe's clone."
