Charmed Without A Choice

Leo looked at all the doctors. "Excuse me, but I am guessing that Jake wants some silence in the room after going through all of this. I will answer your questions later" Leo said and opened the door for the doctor's to leave. The doctors left the room. Chris looked at Leo and then at his mother. "Yeah, mom we can talk later"He said and gave a look to Leola, what she said could be interpreted as if Wyatt and him knew something, which they did but they weren't goign to share until it was right.

Phoebe looked at how Jake send the doctors to Leo and then Leo made them go out. "Wow, Leo has a way of treating people" She said to Paige and Prue. Leo then looked at Jake. "Well, see it wasn't that hard to get them to leave?" He said and Phoebe giggled. "Like father like son" Phoebe said to her sisters.

Jake rolled his eyes. "Yeah well, my way was more fun" he stated and he slowly rubbed his eyes. "So, anyone mind telling me what I am doing here? Did a demon attack?" he asked curiously and Prue opened her mouth but paused, before speaking. "We are not really sure but we are going to find out and we will make sure they pay" she said with fire in her eyes but Jake, not knowing they were family, was slightly suprised by her determination.

"Uh...okay, well, should we head back? I don't feel like staying in a hopsital any longer then I have to" he stated and Paige raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Not a hospital fan?" she asked and Jake rolled his eyes. "The land of the misreable and the suffering is not a hot spot for me" he stated and Prue could not help but laugh and Paige gave a playfull look at Piepr's comment. "Hey, he's got a bit of you in there too, he is pratically as neurotic as you missy" she whispered playfully to Piper.

Piper looked at Paige and gave smiled at her. "Ha, very funny" She said to her little sister and then turned to look at Jake. "I will go and ask the doctors if you can leave tonight?" She said and went out of the room. Leo looked at Jake. "Yeah buy your way would've made them stay here" He said to Jake.

Wyatt and Chris approached leola and Melinda. "Leola, your comment almost got us busted, you know?" Wyatt said to her cousin. "No, it didn't" Chris said noticing Phoebe's look on them. "Leola is right we were trying to look to whoever did this" Chris added and pointed at Phoebe carefully. "Chris is right, sorry" Wyatt said getting Chris' sign.

Jake rolled his eyes and waved Leo's comment off. "Don't argue with me, I am very cranky and I have the power to blow things up!" he stated and Prue grinned slowly at Piper. "Hmm, sounds like someone I know" she stated and Paige grinned. "Yes, someone we know very well." she stated as she watched her sisiter leave to ask the doctors.


Melinda sighed and shook her head at Wyatt and Chris, those two really needed to stop being so secretive, it was not good to keep secrets from this family, because it always came around to bite them in the ass one way or another.

Leo looked at Jake. "Alright, no more arguing" He said and laughed. Piper came into the room a few minutes later. "Alright, Jake. The doctors say you can leave, because your vital signs are estable but if you we notice anything out of normal. Then we have to bring you back here" Piper said and looked at Jake. "Got it, mister?" She asked knowing Jake's character. Phoebe looked at her. "I think we all got it, Piper" Phoebe said and looked at Jake. "She tends to be a little overprotective sometimes, and a little is the key word" Phoebe whispered to Jake.

Chris and Wyatt looked at Melinda and then at his father. "Dad, can we talk to you for a minute?" Wyatt said to Leo. "Also you, aunt Prue" Chris added. Leo followed Wyatt and Chris to the hallway.

Jake rolled his eyes at Leo but could not help but smile but rolled his eyes yet again at Piper's words. "Yeah, yeah, doctors, think they are so great" he grumbled, clearly not a doctor fan as he pushed himself off the bed, springing off the bed rather atheltically. "See? No problemo!" he stated with a grin at Piper and smiled at Phoebe. "I know, I already got the whole warning from Paige" he grinned and Paige gave a fake innocent look.

"Me? I don't know what you are talking about!" she stated and held her hands in surrender and Leola grinned. "I think mom's bad lying has rubbed off on you Aunt Paige."

Prue blinked in suprise at her name mentioned but nodded and followed Chris and Wyatt and Leo out to the hallway. "What's up?" she asked in a concerned tone.

Chris sighed and nodded at Wyatt. He did not want to start. Wyatt looked at Prue and Leo nerviously. "Well, this is quite hard to say, you know?" He said and looked at Leo, who know looked very interested on everything his sons were going to tell him. "It has to do with Jake, right?" Leo said and Wyatt nodded. Chris looked at his hands. "Well, the reason why he did what he did, was because Barbas tricked him inot it." Wyatt said and looked at his father, who was now pale. "And that's not all" Chris said and looked at Prue and Leo. "Cole is back and he is working with Barbas, we saw Cole when we saw what happened to Jake. We were trying to find Barbas but instead..." Chris was saying. "Are both of you out of your mind?" Leo said to both of them. "Do you have some kind of deathwish or something? You two alone trying to face Barbas!" Leo said and looked at his sons, he sounded concerned.

Piper looked at Jake. "alright" She said and smiled at him, she then looked at Phoebe, who was gigling. She smiled, but she wondered what were Wyatt and Chris telling Prue and Leo.

Prue placed a hand on Leo's shoulder. "Leo, you can be a parent later, right now we need to figure out how Cole got out of hell and how we are going to track Barburus" she said softly, an understanding look in her eyes at Leo but she knew that Leo's parental instincts were taking over and it would not help anything. "We can't tell Phoebe this, we can't open up those old wounds" she said softly and ran a hand through her hair.

Jake nodded happily and Paige slowly looked out to Leo and Prue. "We are heading home, don't take too long or Piper is likley to blow your whitelighter asses up" she called and Prue smiled softly at Paige before Paige turned to Piper and Phoebe and took their hands and orbed them home, knowing they must be tired.


Leola took Jake and Melinda's hands and used her cupid teleportation them back to the Manor. Jake groaned and held his stomach. "Teleporting, not so good on the stomach."

Leo nodded at Paige. "We won't take long" He said before she turned around and orbed out with Piper and Phoebe. He then looked at Prue. "You're right, we can't tell Phoebe." He said and looked at Wyatt and Chris. "Got it?" He asked and both nodded. He then looked at Wyatt. "Can you orb me?" He asked, he didn't feel like orbing at the time. "Sure, dad" Wyatt said and placed his hand on his father's shoulder and orbed away.

"Aunt Prue" Chris told Prue. "I have a theory of how Cole may have got to come back." He said and looked at his aunt. "I think that when Jake was sent to this time, a time portal opened but it was so powerful that it opened in several ages." He said and noticed what he said was not making sense, he then shook his head. "And it opened to where Paige supposedly vanquish Cole, and he instead of being vanquished was sent here to this time. I am not sure if it makes sense but it makes sense in my head" He explained to his aunt Prue.

Prue watched Leo and Wyatt leave and slowly turned to Chris and listened to his thoery and paused slowly before nodding. "That makes a lot of sense...it explains how Gideon was able to get back as well...but it could mean there could be others trying trying to get back in time" she said slowly and smiled. "You're a smart kid Chris, clearly you got it from me" she teased and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Come on, let's go home" she stated softly and orbed them back to the Manor.

Paige ran a hand through her hair and slowly sighed as she sat down on the couch with a mug of hot soup.


Prue was thinking for a few second and finally turned around to Chris and whispered. "Chris, if this is true, couldn't it mean that some people may have been sent further back in time as in before any of this happened along with in the future, to try and elimante the threat in a different time?"

Leo and Wyatt orbed into the manor and looked around, they saw Jake and Wyatt smiled at him. "Well, next time I can orb you" He stated and looked at Chris and Prue orbing in. "Or Chris, as you wish" He said and sat down next to Paige. "I am also in the mood for soup" He stated and closed his eyes. Next thing everyone knew was that he had a cup of soup in his hand. He then took a sip.

Chris turned to look a his aunt and looked at her. "That makes sense, also, I was thinking. Maybe they're not after big Jake here. They are after my mom, if they eliminate her, they eliminate Jake and also Melinda" He stated to his aunt.

Prue nodded gently. "Killing Big Jake would not end his life, besides, no Piper would mean no Power of Three for this generation or the next" she stated and paused. "I think I can make a spell to send us to the different times in which demons that should be dead have been sent to, but we have to send Phoebe to one of them, that way she won't have to face Cole" she stated softly.


Jake who was also on the couch, blinked as Wyatt conjoured a cup of soup. "Now why can't I have that power? But, noooo, I have to freeze things and create darkness and blow things up and I can't do any of those things right!" huffed the teen.

Wyatt looked at Jake and laughed. "Well this power is called Incredible Agility and it is about creating stuff out of nowhere. People that has telekinesis usually have that power" Wyatt stated and looked at Chris. "Chris supposedly has Mystic Blast a power to create weapons using the four elements but the Elders took it from him for misusing" Wyatt said and laughed, Chris looked at his brother and nodded his head.

"Yeah, I agree with you" Chris said and looked at Prue and then at Melinda. "But I think that we should let Melinda know so she is prepared in case of something, or Wyatt or both. Melinda is aware of Barbas but not Cole, I can talk to her if you want" Chris told Prue, he did not want his sister into the issue but he had to.

Prue nodded gently. "That would work, Melinda, Wyatt and Leola could stay here and hold down the fort until we got back, Leo, Piper, Jake, Me and You and Phoebe would head to the other time sets, besides, we need to keep Piper away from Cole and Barburus, who knows what those two wack jobs are gonna do" she sighed and rubbed her forehead.


"Well whatever it is, it is better then blowing things up every time you try and shake someone's hand" he huffed and Paige raised an eyebrow. "Somebody is in a grumpy mood" she said and Jake pulled a face. "If I could freeze you, I would, often."

Chris nodded at Prue's comment. "Alright" He said. "Also, can I talk to the Elders first. I think it might come in handy my mystic blast power" He said, he really missed that power. He could create weapons and defend himself, with just closing his eyes. He then heard Paige's comment and then Jake's. "well, I will talk to Wyatt, Leola and Melinda and you can handle the rest" Chris said. "I can go and talk to the Elders later" He stated.

Leo laughed at Jake's comment. "Well, that's what Piper said about Prue and Phoebe. She once told me she would freeze them constantly if it weren't for the fact that they are good witches and they are her sisters" He said and Piper came out of the kitchen. "I heard that, Leo" Piper said and Phoebe looked at her and laughed.

Prue nodded softly and smiled gently. "Good luck, use complicated and long words, they like those" she joked and slowly headed towards the group where Jake was rolling his eyes. "Well come on, what is the point of being abole to freeze time if you can't even freeze the people around you?" he huffed and Paige rolled her eyes. "Nice to know you think so highly of us" she stated and Jake stuck his tongue out.


"Hey guys, we have-well Chris has a theory which I believe is true. We think Gideon could come back because when Jake was sent through the portal, we believe it was over-charged and created portals in different time areas, meaning that we have to go make sure all the time zones are correct, I have a time spell that will help us travel there, but Phoebe and Paige are not allowed to visit the future, since we don't want them knowing their future husbands" she stated and Paige huffed slightly in irritation. "What about Piper?"


"Can you really see Piper leaving Leo? For god sakes not even a decade of marriage and already four kids? Those two are on a roll" grinned Prue.

Chris went to where Wyatt was and he then looked at Melinda and Leola. "Guys, we have to talk" He said after he made sure they heard Prue's explanation. He went into the kitchen followed by Wyatt. "Well, as you heard aunt Prue has a theory about how Gideon got back" He said and Wyatt looked at him. "We also have the theory about if demons were sent to this time, maybe they were also sent to diferent eras. So, aunt Prue, aunt Phoebe, aunt Paige, mom, dad, Jake and me will go over to ther other eras we think they will attack. But we need you to stay here and take care of the house" He said and did a pause. "And fight the demons that will come" Chris added and looked at Wyatt, he could see he didn't like the idea of staying but he was not going to argue with his brother about saving Jake.

Leo looked at Prue. "Sure, count me in" He said and looked at Piper and Phoebe who echoed what he said. "What about Wyatt, Leola and Melinda? I didn't hear them being mentioned" Phoebe asked Prue. "I am assuming they are staying, to take care of the demons that attack in this era" Leo said and Piper looked at him. "but then they need someone to take care of them" Piper said and Leo looked at her. "Wyatt is in his twenties and you want a babysitter for him?" Phoebe asked Piper.

Prue nodded softly. "We just need to make sure it won't be a trap, besides, Wyatt can heal and is responsible enough" she stated but Paige paused silently. "I think I will stay atcually" stated Paige and Prue gave a confused look but Paige explained. "First of all, in case Wyatt is knocked out we need another healer, second of all, Piper doesn't need anymore added stress and I know having one of her sisters here will keep her relaxed" smiled Paige and Prue gave her a thankful look.

Leola and Melinda looked at each other and sighed. "Alright, just be careful Chris and if you die, I am summoning your ass and then I'm gonna kick it!" stated Leola firmly and Melinda nodded. "Then I will get the Elders to bring you back to life, just to kill you again for getting killed" stated his younger sister.

Piper went to where Paige was and hugged her. "Thanks" She said. Phoebe looked at them and smiled, she then looked at Prue. It was nice to have all the family there, at least for once. Piper then looked at Prue. "So, how are we going to do it then?" She asked and Phoebe looked at Prue. "Good question" She asked and looked around. "Whoa, is anybody hiding something from me?" She asked and looked at everyone. Leo tried to look calm, but he was worried about what he heard about Cole and Barbas.

Chris smiled at his sister and cousin. "Alright, I won't die. I promess" He said and smiled at them. He then looked at his watch, he nodded. What was he thinking about asking his power back from the Elders. He had light on his side but still it was not such a good idea to go and ask for it before going on a time travel trip.

Prue was having trouble answering Phoebe's question but Paige was able to divert the attention to her. "Ahh, stop being paranoid Phoebe, that's Piper's job" she stated and Prue smiled softly, glad that Paige had been able to hide the truth from Phoebe for now.

"Well, the spell should send us to the two points in time which will have demons who should have been killed inside." she stated and continued. "One will be back in time and one will be forward, Jake and Phoebe will go back in time, Leo, Piper, Chris and myself will go forward in time, it seems that the signal of power is greater in the future" she stated, having chosen Jake to go the past, not wanting him to realise he was their child in the future.
