Thought I voted in this, guess I didn't.
Easily S6 as my all-time worst, "Valley of the Horrors" I mean "Valhalley of the Dolls".
Followed closely by 'A Call to Arms' in second place.

Love the titles you gave those two Ruth, but it's true they were like that. And those finales you mentioned are my least favorites too.
I never liked any of the two-part/two-hour episodes of Charmed, all of them were bad. Charmed Again I only like some of Part One, but not Part Two. And some of the others would work better as a single episode, and the episodes I think would make better two parters wasn't. Oh well, maybe the board rewrite can fix that.

I found the two-parters odd, too. Charmed Again was the only story that warranted it, establishing the death of one major character and the introduction of another. By comparison, the others didn't tell stories that needed so much time. Oh My Goddess and Dolls are effectively the four-part breakdown of Piper and Leo's marriage. I'm sorry but if Phoebe can vanquish her husband and Prue can die in singular episodes, Piper and Leo don't deserve this much attention. Which episodes did you think would make better two-parters?

The very first one would work as a two-parter, but it would have to be a lot more detailed. Maybe All Hell Breaks Loose to build up the story more and make it more realistic that people would be after them so quickly.

All Hell Breaks Loose being one episode meant they had to gloss over the initial "this is a hoax" reaction people would have. And the need for Phoebe and Leo to be stuck in the Underworld at the end made for a pretty rushed, convoluted chain of events which if they'd given it more time, could've been set up more intricately.

Those are perfect for four episodes that should've only been two or maybe even one! If they skipped Valley of the Horrors and made Oh, My Dreadful just a single episode and they would've had enough episodes to make 'ChrisCrossed' a two-parter or even an entire arc, letting us see more of the future and why it was so bad that Chris had to stay in the past for over a year and screw up the lives of every person he came in contact with while setting up an everlasting time loop (screwup!) Summer has shown how the pilot could've/should've been a two-parter with her fanfic "Charmed: ReImagined". I also think Deja Vu All Over Again, a season-ender *and* saying good-bye to Andy could've/should've been a two-parter.

I'm sorry but if Phoebe can vanquish her husband and Prue can die in singular episodes, Piper and Leo don't deserve this much attention. Which episodes did you think would make better two-parters? Easy - Something Wicca This Way Comes, I already wrote a fanfiction story at the end of last year showing how the first episode could work as a two parter.
Charmed Again out of all the two-parters might be the only one that needed one.
Other ones:
Charmed and Dangerous Chris-Crossed The Witch is Back Deja Vu All Over Again All Hell Breaks Loose Morality Bites Forever Charmed
Although many episodes would work so well being combined together to form an amazing two-parter.
Just looking at most of the ones we got, they easily could be just a single episode. Like 'A Witches Tail' and 'Dolls' are following the same pattern, with a sister not wanting to return to her sisters and running away at the end of part one. Actually the same can be said for Paige in 'Charmed Again'. LOL With part two being them trying to get them back.
The very first one would work as a two-parter, but it would have to be a lot more detailed. Maybe All Hell Breaks Loose to build up the story more and make it more realistic that people would be after them so quickly. Agreed! And the need for Phoebe and Leo to be stuck in the Underworld at the end made for a pretty rushed, convoluted chain of events which if they'd given it more time, could've been set up more intricately. Agreed, and firing Shannen meant we never got to see this continue in the opener, so the end of S3/start of S4 feels so disconnected. But I always found this one very disconnected, I mean they already did lots with Cole and his fathers soul, that just got brushed away.
But that whole episode would work so much better if Phoebe was with her sisters instead and not going to the underworld to save Cole.
Yeah those two for sure. It really was the Valley of the Horrors alright. Like Oh My Goddess is Oh My Dreadful. LOL ROFLMFAO, Ruth! Ruth those are perfect. I really like those ideas Es, we SO needed to see more of the future, because it just really was such an important part of the arc that they just didn't bother to show.
Yup, I certainly have Es, with my fanfic "Charmed: ReImangined" showing how the pilot could've/should've been a two-parter.
Deja Vu for sure should have been more than one.

I so agree with you, those four really would be better off being shorter, and letting 'ChrisCrossed' be a two-parter or even an arc, it is part of what is so frustrating watching it when we as viewers are not seeing it in depth. I'd also like to have seen and found out how the Charmed Ones died. Summer proved in her amazing story, how the pilot so would work better as a two-parter in Charmed: ReImagined. And with the ideas, we have come up with in our post-discussions in the re-watches, how 'Deja Vu'/'Morality Bites'/'All Hell Breaks Loose' would make an amazing two-parter or even an arc of four episodes. Even 'A Witch in Time' would work much better as a two-parter than 'A Witches Tail' or even 'A Witch in Time'/'Centennial Charmed' combo.

Oops! Our bad! It's Peyton Marie who came up with those great titles, not Ruth. Sorry, Peyton, but those names really are perfect for four of my least-favorite episodes.
Oh, yes, 'A Witch in Time/Centennial Charmed' could've/should've easily been a two-parter.
And I agree that 'All Hell Breaks Loose' should've been a two-parter. That and 'Charmed Again' (done better...) makes more sense as two-parters than any of the ones we got, especially 'Oh, My Dreadful' and 'Valley of the Horrors'.

I must have looked at Ruth's reply and thought she did both of them, our bad. I couldn't agree more with all of those as two-parters, especially Charmed Again done better.

That's okay Es and others who made the mistake. I completely understand the mix-up. Just an innocent mistake. I'm hoping, that with the Classic Charmed, done Our way Team Charmed Project, we'll be able to turn all those amazing episodes into two-parters, or fixing the ones we disliked and or replacing them. I totally hope we'll be able to do our own two-part pilot like Summer did with her wonderful Charmed: Reimagined. Because I remember for the FanFic contest we had two years ago, we had a number of stories that showed how the pilot could have been done. But Summer's pilot might inspire us to do the board pilot now, I hope so. I have my own ideas, but I'll share those for our re-re-watch.

And that will be part of the fun of the re-re-watch - I think we'll all be thinking of what we'd want to change and how we would change it during Team Charmed Cafe's next project - CLASSIC CHARMED - DONE OUR WAY!
Although we're planning on doing a Team version, we're hoping it will inspire a lot of personal fantasy ones since what one fan wants to see definitely won't be what another fan might want to see. Some want it sister-centric or female-centric, others want men like Cole or Chris to have as large of a role as the sisters if not mores. Some want halves; others don't. Some want children; others don't. Some want demons to be the main antagonists; others want warlocks. Some want just the original three to be part of the entire series; others want one of the sisters to die so Paige can be part of it, while others want a Power of Four. Anyone who decides to do their own version can do CLASSIC CHARMED - DONE MY WAY.
Just like with Elemental Charmed, Team Charmed Cafe's first project, I won't be making these choices, since again I'm just going to be editor, not writer, so I really look forward to seeing what we come up with.
Of course a lot of these choices won't have to be made right away, since we plan on just working on re-writing S1 after our re-re-watch, but since we like the idea of combining the S1 episodes with other episodes like Summer Reading is doing with her fantastic "Charmed: ReImagined" (combining 'Something Wicca This Way Comes' with 'Pre-Witched' anyone?), some of those choices might have to be made. Rather than polls, those will be decided via discussion, like we've been doing our grades and favorite moments during the re-watch.
Remember, anyone who's a member of the Charmed Café can become part of Team Charmed Café. Since this one won't be totally female-centric like Elemental Charmed was, which we're sure turned off a number of Café members, we hope a lot of those members will decide to be part of this one, which will start after our re-re-watch of S1 - which starts the weekend after Easter weekend.

Late to this but I went with S5's premiere. As soon as I think bad premieres, that one always stands out first in my mind. S6-8 were bad ones too hot S5 kicked it all off! Sometimes S5 is my least favorite season depending on mood (yes, even against S8!) and I guess I have to go with what my gut tells me.

Virtually every season opener after Season 4 dropped in quality and was nowhere near as fun or campy. However while I don't like any of the Season 5-8 openers I have to give it to Valhalley of Dolls and Still Charmless and Sucking. These are the two that cemented the lower quality of the later seasons as well as having the worst opening segments. A Witch Tail was just an excuse for everyone to drastically hate Cole, the lighter tone compared to the Buffy like tone of the previous seasons was gone, and Ask PhoeME being treated as a global scale worshipped messiah. The only good thing I could say is that at least it begins with the Charmed Ones helping an innocent, which is more than what I can say for Season 6 or 8 Openers.
Valhalley of Dolls- The first part is literally just a session where we see Phoebe's ego being stroked on a radio show and Ask PhoeME being shoved in our faces. Only to segment into Piper being obliviously joyful. The overall tone is a step down, PhoeME blows off helping people (as well as cheating on Jason simply because she couldn't wait for him) it also contains the infamous scene where PhoeME and Paige kill Daryl despite his consent not to be killed then force his ghost to fight Leo in Valhalley. The premiere also births the worst power in the show PhoeME's Empathy which only serves to steal a scene from Piper that could've been used to give Piper and Leo an actual development. Also the Valkarie costumes are among the worst in the costume department. The characters are virtually unrecognizable.
Chris was pretty much the main saving grace in the premiere. His audience surrogate reaction was perfect for how the girls were so uncharacteristic.
Still Charmeless and Sucking- This didn't even need to exist. But even if it were to follow up after Something Wicca this way Goes it did a terrible job in execution. What could've been an interesting plot with the secret identities and training the next generation is instead just an excuse to showcase how much the girls don't like being witches, abusing their deaths for personal gain and nothing really happens. It's just an excuse for Viper and PhoeME to wine about how they don't want to deal with demons and have a normal life. Meanwhile Paige can't decide on what she wants to do or not. It's also incredibly boring and the acting is subpar, which is strange considering I think the acting is one of the better parts of the show. The show was charmless at this point and this did nothing but step on that grave and give us pointless meandering. It feels more like a fantasy for Viper and PhoeME than it does an actual plot.

For the absolute worst I would also go with season 5. Not because it was bad. I did like the whole piper fearless spell part. But it just didn’t seem connected with how season 4 ended. Or to even seasons 1-4. In fact every episode after felt the same way. The opener almost felt like they were now living in some sort of different alternate reality or dream. One that changed both their looks, characters and personalities. It Would have made more sense if at the end of season 8, piper, phoebe and Paige suddenly woke up from a bad dream, came out of their rooms confused and then suddenly saw the Angel of destiny looking at them. The one from season 4 and then he says.

Love your title for S8, like one member named Valhalley of Dolls, Valley of the Horrors. I remember we had members pointing out how every season opener in the first four dear, opened at night, and the last five are all opened in daytime, although S4 was the bridge the opened close to dawn. And the actual opening scene and teaser for S5-S8, really don't excite you too much about starting a new season, the way the earlier ones did.
