For the absolute worst I would also go with season 5. Not because it was bad. I did like the whole piper fearless spell part. But it just didn’t seem connected with how season 4 ended. Or to even seasons 1-4. In fact every episode after felt the same way. The opener almost felt like they were now living in some sort of different alternate reality or dream. One that changed both their looks, characters and personalities. It Would have made more sense if at the end of season 8, piper, phoebe and Paige suddenly woke up from a bad dream, came out of their rooms confused and then suddenly saw the Angel of destiny looking at them. The one from season 4 and then he says. This is wonderful, and truly fits with how seasons 5-8 felt like alternate realities. They tried too hard to change the show, and it ended up unrecognizable. And though season 5 was the beginning of the end for me, I think the worst opener was season 8. It's easy to hate on that season, but the whole idea of the foundation of the show being thrown off was too jarring for me. Plus, I hated the idea that apparently the actresses all wanted less time on the show, so that was the reason for trying out the alternate identities. If they were all so sick of it and ready to move on, I'd prefer they just go ahead and end things. I don't want to watch a show where the people who originally brought it to life now couldn't care less if it died. I don't want to watch a season that feels more like catering to the people playing the roles than it does to the roles themselves. |

Only Holly would keep doing Charmed for as long as she could given Rose and Alyssa couldn't wait to get out, the finale was Piper centric as they had other projects. Still don't get why they couldn't shoot episodes out of order then. At least S7's finale although I had issues with it still was sisterly centric with them all together for it all and had more suspence even if they never planned to die at the end. Personally wish it ended with 7. Least it means no flashforwards. Don't I wish. What if S7 ended with the whole manor exploding and not just the basement, if it were the end. But I'm sure most fans would hate a cliffhanger ending like that. |

I thought the worst was the Season 5 one. Phoebe's mermaid costume in that one was pretty tacky in my opinion, and I disliked how she was more concerned with her own desires and life than helping Miley.
