Don't really like Peyton - to me, it's a boy's name and should've been Wyatt's - Peyton Matthew Wyatt, the way Piper should've been Piper Halliwell-Wyatt, since not even Penny Johnson Halliwell kept *her* maiden name. I've never heard the name Panya before...but I like it! I do see Phoebe as the one who would continue the P tradition - but Prudence, Charlotte and Kyra - yes, I can see that, too. Except since I see Prudence Melinda as Piper's, I'd see Phoebe's Prudence as Phoebs - it would be typical Phoebe to name Ladybug after herself - and if Henry Jr can be named after Henry - why not? I agree Peyton sounds more like a boys name rather then a girls name, I would love it if Wyatt was named Peyton Matthew Wyatt, makes more sense. In my fan-fiction, Phoebe's children's full names are: With Cole: 1) Benjamin Coleridge Turner. With Coop: 1) Prudence Brianna Halliwell. 2) Phoenix Patricia Halliwell. 3) Paris Kyra Halliwell. A;though not nuts on your name choices (I like your middle name choices as their names, especially if Patricia is her oldest, more than the first names), I'm very curious to know what exactly you'd do with them. You've given hints how you would do it, but this is the first time I've seen you actually mention a fanfic. Have you written one? If so, I hope you post it in the fanfiction section because I'd love the chance to read it. |

If Phoebe chose to carry on the P name tradition, I think she'ld choose Prudence for her oldest, but not the other usual family name but something original as, eg , Primrose and Portia or Psyche and Pandora

Now Paige, she's the one I see as using the more unusual names, or Prue had she lived and had kids. |

Thank you for your imput, with different names, I can picture the girls having a Familiar called Psyche. OOOOO!!! Especially with them being half-cupid I totally ADORE the idea of them having a familiar called Psyche! What a great name for a familiar than Kit. |

No, Kit worked great as the Charmed Ones' familiar - but Psyche is perfect for the familiar for a cupid. I like Psyche being their cat much more than being one of Phoebe's daughters. |

It could work, but one thing that would have to be made clear right off the bat - there would be no “new Charmed Ones”. The OGs are still alive, after all. But if you want this to be a proper spinoff, and not just “Charmed seasons 9 to unknown”, it cannot focus on the Halliwell family. Oh, they can occasionally show up - as a much more competent and effective ‘Big Good’ than the Ever-Useless-Elders ever managed to be, if nothing else - but every spinoff that I know of has a mostly (or entirely) original cast. How to go about doing that?
Well, one possibility would be Magic School. Again, there would have to be some changes: ditching the Harry Potter aesthetic, having something have happened to the protective wards that keep anyone from dying on school grounds so there could be some actual stakes. If anyone here’s seen the show Legacies, it’d be something like that. Another change would be not having the school be located in some unknown other realm, I think, because that’s really just a bit too much. Have it be located somewhere remote, but not so much that students can’t sneak out and head into the nearby town for whatever reason.

Maybe or maybe not. I just know most fans will be expecting Drew and Wes to be back as Chris and Wyatt, and they are too old now to play the early 20s, both are in their early 40s now. So you'd have to recast them.
They might just go with Phoebe's daughters (although it might get old if they keep running to their mom and aunts for help all the time). But, I'm not sure if a series that counts the ending as canon will work, we'll have nine children to deal with, and I think most will be bored knowing what will come next, having seen the flashforwards.
I personally would prefer them waiting even longer for a next-generation series, like say in another decade or more (I'll likely not be alive to see it of course). And what someone on this board said that before and it's interesting (sorry can't find their post), have it starring the grandchildren of the Charmed Ones, so it's enough distance into the future, putting distance from Classic, and fans won't be bothered if none of the originals come back. But it focuses on cousins, not sisters or brothers.

Watching the new 90210 and thinking of a Charmed: Next Generation show could it work? How can it work? I was thinking about this today. I would like to see the next generation or a completely different spin off with witches from a different line that includes A) 2 sisters and 1 brotherPerhaps the 2 oldest being sisters closer in age and the youngest being a male. B) Siblings across different generational groups - in different decadesPerhaps there is a tension between the 2 different generations with the middle one being the middle ground Eldest (Female): A true Millennial, born about 1989 - currently 34 Middle (Female): A Zillennial, born about 1995 - currently 28 Youngest (Male): A True Gen Z, born about 2000 - currently 23 C) The oldest already has a child who is about 5 - Gen Alpha. Had her kid at 28/9
D) Both parents (or step parent) are still alive as well as a grandmother
 This way, the show seperates itself from Charmed. Its also maybe a bit wicca based. Alternatively
It could be a show with:Grandmother - baby boomer Uncle/Aunt -Gen Y - with the mom/dad not being present. Gen X Nephew/Niece -Gen Z/Alpha I just like the idea of the different generations and mindsets as potentially the source of the interpersonal conflict. And a concept different to the idea of Charmed but pays tribute to it. |
