So it is set during the actual series dears and season 4. *Sigh* we are not that lucky to get stories or lost episodes set in Prue's era or some alternate universe.
But I hope it isn't like those season 10 comics.

Not sure how these new comics could possibly be anything like season 9 or 10 since seasons 4-8 already had Big Bads and a lot of things going on and this comic is going to be set-up in these seasons. And there won't be any Prue While I wouldn't mind untold stories, the only thing that would make it really interesting is if they finally show us what happened in the alternate future in season 6. Even if the story would end tragically with all the Charmed Ones dying, it's still better than the same old demon wants to become the Source or take over the Underworld plot and only way to do that is to try to kill the Charmed Ones and fail.

Maybe they could fix what actually happened with Cole perhaps and show whether he was truly possessed by the Source or not and also give him the proper send off he deserves.

I would desperately love to see a comic series about the future Chris came from, what their vision of what it was like would be. That would be so amazing. If they do season four, I want to see more of Paige getting to know Piper and Phoebe and vice versa and I want to see more about Paige's past, especially I want to see Uncle Dave and Aunt Julie. I want to see Paige visting her parents grave and telling them all about everything that is going on even though she is still freaking out that ghosts are real. I want to see her try and summon her parents and I want to know why she didn't see them until "A Paige from the Past." If they do the first half of season five, then I want them to show more about what's going on with Cole. I want them to undo the damage done to him on the show during that season.

That would be so good to see dear. Hopefully. Too bad they cannot tell dears the story set between season 3 and 4. *Sigh* instead they jump directly to when Paige is already with her new sisters. But I am looking forward to them. More fun with trying to piece together where each issue takes place in season 4, and the fun we might have here with what episodes we would take out and replace with the comics.

Not nuts on the idea of straightening out Cole - he got too much coverage in S10 for me to want to see them try to do something else with him. As always, I'm much more interested in the sisters, and in this case Paige. If it concentrated on Paige and her becoming part of the family, I'd much prefer that. But somehow I don't think so. Like someone else said, from the previews we've gotten, it looks like she's already fully integrated into the family. I have a hunch these will be more like the novels where they fit *somewhere* but don't actually fix anything. Just a new, different adventure.

What I didn't say is "I really, really, really, really don't want them to do comics in the first half of season five, but if they do, that's what I hope they do, make Cole seem less crazy." I also don't really want anything avatar related . . . oh, wait, that means I really, really, really, really don't want them to do the first half of season five (or the first half of season seven). I'm just saying that if they do the first half of season five (please don't), I don't want them to make Cole more crazy. Sorry, I was beyond not clear on that.

I mean, I see why they picked season four.
They probably still can't use Shannen's likeness so had to pick somewhere between seasons 4-8. They didn't want to deal with the kids and they probably wanted Cole as he is super popular, so, really, the only season that fits all the criteria is season four. It's just like....so much happened that season, it'll be hard for me to believe they were having all these other adventures as well.
I'm hoping the first few story arcs will focus on Paige getting to know her sisters, to fill in the gaps so to speak, that would be nice.

But with Season Four you're stuck with either a weakling mortal Cole who doesn't want to be a mortal or Cole influenced by the Source. Ick. I don't want either. I'd much prefer an earlier season. If they want Cole so badly, do it in Season Three. And I still don't believe that they can't use Shannen's image because I still don't believe that comics need permission to use anyone or that they pay anyone for the use of her image, which is what happened on TV. Just check all the ones in the Star Wars ones and tell me they pay all of those people! I still think that was all spin so fans would accept Prue looking like Patience rather than Shannen - which makes sense if she's going to be alive - how do you explain to anyone who knew Prue died that she's alive again? And if they have to stick with S4, I'm sure some of the novels took place in S4. IF they want to add stuff to it, they can and will.

Actually, from what I know from reading the Buffy comics the company producing the comic doesn't have to pay the people, they just have to get permission, it's illegal for them to not ask for that permission, if Shannen didn't give permission then that's all there is to it, she could sue them for using her likeness without her say so. And you're right about Cole, I forgot about how annoying his character arcs were in season four. I just hope they find some way to make it work.

But when they told Shannen that she hadn't given permission, she was shocked.
That's why I still don't think she didn't.
If anything, they never asked, which is way worse.
And she's made it clear that if she was healthy and there was a reunion she'd want to be part of it.
Sorry, them saying that's the reason just doesn't wash.

Is it confirmed it's set in season 4? The image of Paige above looks more like from season 5.

Now that would be something I would love! Maybe I and the ones who want this to happen can tweet the writers and ask them to do it! The only problem is it seems the new season will be set between either the end of season 4 once Paige's hair turns orange in S4 or from S5 to S6 where Paige's hair is pretty much blonde/light orange.

Wait a minute Cole wanted to become mortal or atleast he considered it in season 3 before the the whole Brotherhood of the Thorn incident happend and then it took a back seat or else he just dropped it when magic got exposed and Prue's death in the finale.

Yeah, that was kind of odd how that story line with Cole progressed/digressed. Things would have been better for him if he hadn't done a 180 on that issue.
