I've just gotten over these annoying fighting of the actresses. At least Shannen and Alyssa made up. Wish they can do something for the anniversary but I think we could at least have Constance the original creator contacted for a interview if not Brad Kern or other writers. And Brad S has a point....they had 5 years to have a 4 Actress Reunion and then 12 years after that.
If there is demand for a witch show, and esp Charmed, then someone else is going to try and bring to life something similar.
Although I wish they did use a different coven (triple crescent, not triquetra) and refered to them as something different to the Charmed Ones.
Holly needs to get over it. In also watching some of the convention she comes off as quite unlikable, esp with her interactions with Brian.
Makes me think that it wasn't just Shannen vs. Alyssa but that Holly did have a greater influencing power than what I had already thought.
And you guys are right. Piper and Phoebe become so much like Holly and Alyssa towards the end of the series I feel.
He does, they all need to get over the fighting and DO it for the fans, but I guess they can't. I just hope the reboot cast can get along well for the entire series.

I hope the reboot actresses can get along for the duration of the series, and not run into the same problems Classic Charmed did. But maybe with the actors, not all being the same age, and one of them being 34, they won't have too many conflicts on set. With the older cast members looking out for the younger ones.
Also, they won't have any horrible producers like Classic Charmed faced 20 years ago in a different era. So I hope it means a fun set, great writing, and nobody fired.
I do want to know how the younger sisters powers are going to work in the long-run, and if she can use it on her own sisters. Unless her powers grow allowing her to communicate with them without speaking, and call out for help while kidnapped or something with some form of Telepathy.

Well the producers have a modern mindset and not the old style ways of Hollywood producers Charmed had in the 90s. So I'm sure the work environment is better and it's not American but Canadian soil they film. Well if reading minds I hope she has to touch people to read. But I didn't think about Telepathy for an advanced upgrade so she can communicate with her sisters if she were kidnapped by a demon.

I used to be Team Holly, but now I'm Team S1-2 Charmed (the characters, not the actors) and not much else. I'm so disgusted that they're preventing us from getting anything for the anniversary. Couldn't they be actors and PRETEND to get along, just for that? Sometimes it is best to separate actor from character. I sometimes hate the actor but love the character. I haven't kept up with the Charmed cast much. I remember the man who played the wizard openly said the Charmed stars were diva's. This was after Shannen left. So she wasn't the only unpleasant one to work with. We just never heard about it just Shannen got the bad press. Maybe Shannen has turned over a new leaf since cancer and ditched Holly and finally saw how depressing she is to be around. Who knows? I'm just going to admire the characters and not waste my time with the actors. Maybe I should be Team Constance who created and brought these characters to our lives and the show.

I was thinking along the lines of Jean Grey from X Men in terms of the youngest sisters powers.
In X2 Jean touched Nightcrawlers head and saw some of his past using telepathy which could be how the girls find or know about innocents maybe.
And if she developes the ability to communicate telepathically i.e project thoughts out of her head then perhaps futurewise she could beam images also like Andy Gallaghar did Supernatural season 2 finale letting Dean know where he, Sam, and the other physic kids were via a receipt which is what the youngest sister could master too although both aspects of those sides could be just be construed as receiving and sending premonitions but with a different power name.

I don't think Charmed will ever return with the original cast. Didn't Rose quit acting? I thought none of them get along these days. If they were getting along and agreed, a Charmed reunion would have happened by now. Why is the reboot named Charmed anyway? Its horrible to the fans to name it after Charmed. A majority of the time reboots rename their projects to something else like 24, Star Trek or Sabrina I think is under a different title now. Well, it's in the same universe so it is linked to Charmed. I think they should call it Charmed: New Witches or Charmed in (insert city here). Personally, I don't think that most of the original fan base will like the new one since it will be in a college setting. Most of us are older than that. But, it might be good if only one of the witches is actually college aged. However, I think it will be heavily be influenced by today's trends and that might also make it feel much younger to us. I have no issue with different witches being in the same universe. I like that a whole lot better than it being set in 70s and having nothing to do with Grams. It would have totally been cool to get a Grams show about her growing up between the ages of 9-15ish and it be called "Pre-Charmed: A Penny Halliwell Story". However, these reboots and remakes are never for the original audience. They are for the current young generations. That's why the setting is in a college town. That's what's popular now. We, as current Charmed fans would love a Grams prequel but the new audience would probably ignore it because they wouldn't have any reason to care about her. This is why they are putting new witches and inserting them into the Charmed universe. Yeah I really wished they renamed it Charmed: Witches of Hilltowne. But your absolutely right. It isn't for us fans. They want a new younger audience to get into it. I just hate that now google searching Charmed gets confusing when both versions are lumped together forever. At least the reboots of Roswell or Sabrina are under different titles.

I hadn't thought of what would happen if people google Charmed, but this is yet another reason why calling it just "Charmed" makes no sense.

Well, I hope it stays Oct 14th. That way the Classic Charmed fans have nothing stopping us from celebrating our big day in style. CW tends to start mid-late October, so our anniversary should be safe. Charmed fans on tumblr are pushing for separating the tags. Creators use #charmededit and want that solely for our show. And something like #charmedcwedit or #charmedrebootedit. Thank you, Tumblr.

That makes so much sense. Too bad as pointed out the google searching confusion can't be solved.
Not sure how other reboots like Dynasty, Macgyver or Hawaii Five O are like when googled. If the more recent show aired is seen first.

Well, when I click Google and search Charmed (well on my end, I'm not sure if its the same for everybody and country). I still get Classic Charmed on the side-bar and the IMDB pages and so on. But all the reboot news is displayed since obviously, it's recent.
Randomly searched the Hawaii Five-0 reboot, and it just the reboot when clicking and nothing on the original. But I'm assuming it's because it's been going on for years now.
Which pains me and upsets me dears, that if this reboot goes for many years. All the Classic Charmed stuff will be pushed further back in pages. But of course, recent stuff will always be at the top. Hopefully, I'm wrong.
But I don't know if the reboot will go on for eight years like Classic Charmed. I very much doubt it will go nine years and become the longest-running American series with female leads either.

Classic Charmed still comes up in websites and imdb a d stuff. Only the "News" section of Google is with the reboot. Which makes sense.
Only time will tell how that continues.

I don't know why they didn't add anything after it; especially after making it about a completely different family because after that point they could just continue with different Charmed families. It would have been really interesting for them to make it about a demonic family called Charmed: The Demon Chronicles and showcase a family of demons trying to integrate themselves in society, living in secret while being tempted back. However, I have no problem with the google search because it's obvious with the dates and pictures which is which.

Here's what Rose had to say about the reboot, but she later said she respects Holly's views.

I just wonder how much press the 20th anniversary gets if they get what Buffy or Sabrina got for theirs. With the cast reuniting and getting a photo and doing interviews. I sadly feel if the girls can't get along for even a 2-hour press reunion, that's sad. Maybe all we get is just the cast doing on twitter and posting something, while TV Guide does their own stuff with a few quotes from the actresses, but none of them coming together for the press. Well, I hope it stays Oct 14th. That way the Classic Charmed fans have nothing stopping us from celebrating our big day in style. EXACTLY SO! Here's what Rose had to say about the reboot, but she later said she respects Holly's views. Well, unlike Holly, Rose is actually supporting the reboot but respecting how Holly feels. Holly is on her own for her hate it seems. None of the other actresses are acting like her.
