I'd like to try something slightly different and have 5 family members form a Power of Five with the Pentagram as their symbol, instead of the Power of Three with the Triquetra. I was always fascinated by the Pentagram mythology in 'Apocalypse, Not' and how Phoebe explained that it was originally a symbol of good magic, which is true in real life Wicca/pagan traditions. It is the inverted pentagram that is associated with evil. I would love to see Grams and Patty as main characters, with Piper and Phoebe still being Patty's daughters. Paige's character could be reworked into Patty's younger sister who doesn't have kids but can play the "fun aunt". There would be a big age gap between she and Patty, so she would be halfway between her sister and her nieces in age. Most of Prue's purpose and personality would be taken up by Grams. Here are my ideas: Prudence/'Prue'/'Grams'/'Mom': Much the same as the Grams we know and love, Prue Halliwell would be the strict, fiery matriarch of the Halliwell family. I imagine her as very much like Prue, initially strict but because she will have suffered fewer losses than the "real Grams" she would become more mellow and softer, which is why I gave her Prue's name. I would give her the power of Pyrokinesis, so her power is the most offensive and befitting of her 'Demon Slayer' role. Patience/'Patty'/'Mom': Pretty much Patty as she was in the original series, although with more of what I imagined her to be like when she's younger: kind, caring, sometimes irresponsible and impulsive and not always in touch with reality. Nevertheless she is the most selfless person of all always has time to help those in need, which is why I renamed her 'Patience'. I would give her Shapeshifting and Transmogrification powers as it would suit her vivid imagination. I could picture her changing fireballs into basketballs or something wacky like that! Paige: Again, she is basically the same as her namesake, except she is Patty's sister, not Piper and Phoebe's. I'd give her a form of Telepathy with which should could read memories/fears/hopes/dreams, rather than direct "inner speech" thoughts, as I imagine her to be the most perceptive and intuitive of the family. She would function as the "balance" of the family as Piper was in the original series. Much in the same way Prue would lecture Phoebe on being irresponsible in the original series, Grams would be the same with this "Paige" but, like Phoebe, her power is the one that is usually the most helpful. Piper and Phoebe would be much the same, although Phoebe would not have premonition power, being too similar to Paige's telepathy power, but perhaps Telekinesis (including levitation) like the OG Prue, so she can still be the kick-ass sister. And Piper would have her Freezing power and nothing else. Above all it would be an interesting dynamic to explore amongst the various parent-child relationships, as well as the sisterly ones. What a really fun idea you have come up with Deano. The dynamic does sound like the proper way to reboot than just redoing one based on three sisters again. I'd even think one based on three cousins would be something they could have done.

"Elemental Charmed"
BACKSTORY:Prudence Warren, a witch born from a long matriarchal line of witches, always said everything happens for a reason, but nothing comes without a price. She has known that she has the Elemental power of Spirit when she started having premonitions as a teenager. After later marrying fellow witch, Allen Halliwell, and giving birth twice (with Allen agreeing to let their daughters carry the family name of Warren if any son carries the name of Halliwell), Prudence discovered that her older daughter, Patience, had the Elemental power of Earth, while her younger daughter, Paige, had the Elemental power of of Air. When Prudence's premonitions revealed that her two future granddaughters would have the other two Elemental powers of Water and Fire, she discovered that her family was destined to become the powerful Elemental Witches. She began training her daughters in the craft in order to prepare them for what would eventually happen to them and their own daughters, especially after a warlock murdered Allen. While still a teenager, Paige fell in love with an older man, Sam Wilder. Although Prudence warned her against him so Paige eventually broke up with him, a couple months later she discovered she was pregnant. She gave birth to a daughter, Peyton. When Prudence, Patience, and Paige discovered that Peyton had the Elemental power of Water, and when a couple years later Patience married non-magical Victor Bennett at the same time that and had their daughter Piper who had the Elemental power of Fire, the Warren family was certain that those five would become the Elemental Witches with each of Prudence's daughters having one child, who were cousins. This changed when Sam came back and began influencing his eight-year-old daughter. When Peyton used her firepower to kill a classmate who was teasing her, she became a warlock like her father. Under his influence, Peyton turned on her family and much as it hurt the family, especially Patience, they ended up having to vanquish Peyton, and they were sure all was lost. But five years later, when Piper was ten, Patience gave birth to Phoebe, who had the same Elemental power as Peyton - Water. After Phoebe was born, Patience and her mother and sister decided to try to protect her daughters from what had happened to Peyton. The three older witches placed a cloaking spell on Victor and the girls before the three of them relocated to the other side of the country. This way the girls could be raised by their father and be protected while also having a normal childhood, something no other Warren witch had ever had. In order to continue to protect them, Victor raised Piper and Phoebe so they didn't have any knowledge of them being witches - they're always just his little girls. But as our series begins, Prudence has a premonition showing that Sam is back, going after Piper and Phoebe, so the two are in danger. Paige uses her Elemental power of Air to orb herself, her mother and her sister to her nieces. They're too late to prevent Sam from murdering Victor, but thanks to Prudence's premonition, Prudence, Patience and Paige use a potion and a spell to vanquish Sam before he can harm the girls. Patience reveals to her daughters that they are witches and lets them decide if they want her to unbind their powers. Piper and Phoebe finally embrace their destiny and their powers are unbound. They join their their mother and aunt, who along with their grandmother who uses her premonitions and knowledge two guide her daughters and granddaughters, the five Warren women are the Elemental Witches, setting out to protect those innocent of the knowledge of magic from the denizens of evil magic. THE MAIN CHARACTERS:Prudence Warren: Aged 70. Much the same as the Grams we know and shake our head at, she's the strict, fiery matriarch of the Warren family. She's very much like Prue Halliwell, initially strict but because she will have suffered fewer losses than the "real Grams" she becomes more mellow and softer. She has the Elemental power of Spirit which gives her premonitions. Patience Warren: Prudence's older daughter, aged 50. Pretty much the Patty we know and love, although even more kinder and caring. She functions as the "balance" of the family as Piper was in the original series, but unlike Piper Halliwell, she is the most selfless person of all and always has time to help those in need, although that often gets her in trouble. Like Prue Halliwell, she's a photographer, but unlike Prue, she works with the police. She has the Elemental power of Earth which allows her to form anything non-living from earth. Paige Warren: Prudence's younger daughter, aged 40. Again, she is basically the same as her namesake, except she is Patty's sister, not Piper and Phoebe's. She's sometimes irresponsible and impulsive and not always in touch with reality. Much in the same way Prue would lecture Phoebe at being irresponsible in the original series, Prudence would be the same with this "Paige". Like Paige Matthews, she's a social worker. Paige has the Elemental power of Air, which allows her to orb herself and others, much like Paige Matthews' power did, but she's not part whitelighter so she doesn't have any of the other whitelighter powers. Piper Warren: Patience's older daughter, aged 30. Again much like Piper Halliwell, but rather than being shy, she's very fiery, like later-season Piper without constantly feeling sorry for herself (although she does miss her normal life..,), and because there are no whitelighters, she never falls for one. Like Piper Halliwell, she owns her own restaurant and is a very good cook, so she's the one who makes most of the potions. She has the Elemental power of Fire, which allows her to form and throw fireballs, but like Piper Warren herself, the power isn't evil. Phoebe Warren: Patience's younger daughter, aged 20. Also much like Phoebs Halliwell (and never like PhoeME Halliwell), but like her grandmother, mother, aunt and sister, the fact that she was born in Warren Manor has nothing to do with whether she can easily turn evil - all five have free will and can decide if they want to do good or evil. But like Peyton, if they murder, they will become warlocks. She's still in college and works on the school paper. She has always loved to write and is the one who comes up with most of the original spells. Phoebe has the Elemental power of Water which allows her to freeze molecules. What a very interesting set-up you have here. I'd watch this show. So if Piper and Phoebe are living with their father, then does Piper have enough knowledge of her family. What story is she led to believe, Phoebe is basically the original Phoebe, not knowing her mother. So do they know just think their parents are divorced?

I really like this set up. A few questions: How is the effect of this Paige's orbing? Is it similar to the way Piper teleported when she got the Goddess power? or is kinda like a tornado of some sort? Also, did Phoebe & Piper know that their mother was alive? or was that part of the family always been kept hidden from them? Keep the press releases coming I enjoy them Lol When I first came up with Paige Warren being able to orb because her element is Air, I saw it as similar to Shax's, just not as destructive, since that felt more like the wind, while Paige Matthews and Leo's were more elements of Light. But if someone else can think of a better way of describing it, go for it. SC, what do you think? Since you came up with the idea of the sisters being sent across the country to live with their father so they'd be protected, do you think they would know that their grandmother, mother and aunt are living on the other side of the country? Would they simply think that their parents are divorced? Would they even get a chance to know the other members of their family before the attack by Sam the Warlock? And, oh, yes, I LOVE the press releases, too! Someone else is wondering the same question I am in regards to them knowing about their family. If Piper is 10 when Phoebe is born, then she has enough knowledge of her family. It's just Phoebe, who like original Phoebe doesn't have many memories of her mother or maybe her other family. Paige'selement power of air, I do think the way of Shax's makes total sense, with something like a wind. It makes no sense to have it be more Light like Paige or Leo's. So I really think naming it orbing will confuse everyone. I really like the set-up so far. The press releases, especially are outstanding. Please keep doing what you're doing.

After just what I was suggesting responding to Es just now, I put this together. I haven't given this one a date or number yet. Which I think I might do from now on while seeing what others think and SR thinks. Then we can possibly put them together later. Does anyone think this story would work okay as a two-part season finale, I really think it would work better in the second half of season 1 or even season 2? What do you all think? Having read your backstory with Peyton. Any chance now this is just a suggestion, (not sure what you have planned taking this story further), having Peyton being taken possession by your Jenna character and making her the warlock that the witch hunter is working with. Then let Paige be taken possession by Mary Ann. I don't want to take away from what you have already set up. But when I read that Peyton killed an innocent and became a warlock. I couldn't help but notice, the story you have in the past with Mary Ann and Jenna could mirror the one with Paige and Peyton in the present. Are you going to bring Peyton into the story later? Also, did Mary Ann's twin-sister become a warlock and kill an innocent, and then betrayed her sister and joined the Witch Hunters to murder her and a coven of Witches maybe? I'm very impressed with your work in this thread so far. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread.

I tried quoting these Press Releases, but when I did, they all disappeared and I only saw comments from other people. So I had to copy them again. I'm very impressed with these. These look very good. They look so real like real ones. You have me fascinated to want more. I really think you should consider an episode based on Patience and her daughters, one where the three can bond. I feel it's necessary for them to grieve for Victor. Maybe Patience can reflect on her life with Victor and wonder what could have been with him had they not sent the daughters away for protection. Just some suggestions. Feel free to ignore these, and edit it however you like, disregarding my suggestions.

Going to try and catch up and reply to as best I can and what I missed in the other thread. I haven't got any new press releases to share, but we've got enough here to keep us going. Es you deserve a big pat on the back for all the hard work you put in getting this new thread set-up. Reward yourself! Just in case these get lost in another page, I decided to cut and paste all of SummerReading's (SR) and what Es, Deono, and everyone came up with before. So it would be easier for people to quote and comment on them directly. As was mentioned, if anyone wants to edit or change something, feel free. Thank you, Pheebs. This is truly something we should do each time we hit a new page so any members new to this thread will know what we're doing and have a chance to add their own ideas. Since it's been copied a couple of times, I'm going to skip the earlier parts and just comment on the new parts, but have to start by saying you also did a fantastic job with these Great thinking to have our breakdown of press releases, stories and backstories once we hit a new page. LOL with the amount of material this thread now has and what we will keep on having, we may need additional threads eventually. LOL That's a brilliant idea! Everyone can do it their way, and find a way to edit them all together. I'll take a look at what you did too! I went and look at her myth online: I saw the Ghost Whisperer episode of Bloody Mary before, never seen the Supernatural one, might be way scarier than the GW one. If this can play into Paige and her daughter Peyton maybe? But I'm not so sure, might be worth saving a story like this for later in the season or beyond. If someone has other idea's, go ahead? Wasn't Bloody Mary once of the scary creatures in 'Chick Flick', even if it didn't include a mirror - although, of course, a mirror *was* used in 'The Fourth Sister'? This episode would be a great nod to those great episodes, even if, typical Classic Charmed, they twisted the mythology to fit their episode. Although you might be right that it would fit later in the season or even in a different season, depending upon what SC and others had in mind - but it is definitely something I'd want as part of "Elemental Charmed" - great job! I remember she was in Chick Flick as one of the horror movies Phoebe watched, obviously, their take of her was different than the real myth. I think we should include this later or another season. I really want this part of "Elemental Charmed" too. I also agree, so maybe we should edit that press release, actually just take it out, and maybe we can come up with a new one when we eventually start casting the stars. But I still really liked the press release Es, you did a great job with it. I felt the same way. That really was such a great press release. I like Es press release editing. I hope Pheebs, you agree as well. Me too! The changes are great. I want this to be our official completed press release for our first virtual (I think that's what you call these) press release leak for "Elemental Charmed". I really agree with this. Maybe we can just change the names later, but keep it exactly the same but just add the changes when we cast our stars later. So glad it's edited, I'd have felt the same. But again having an editor helps. I can see Pheebs is going over the real press releases and making her changes, forgetting to cut out what isn't necessary. But these things happen in real press releases all the time, I can't tell you how many times conflicting information comes out and confuses me. LOL if this was a real writing room, and Es saw that press releases making the media rounds, I'd imagine you'd have walked right out and left the project for creative differences in a heartbeat! Great job Es! Me too in a heartbeat! Pheebs did a wonderful job crafting this don't you think.

I think having Paige's powers being similar to Shax minus being destructive actually works. I just wonder what name we'd give it instead of orbing. ColtonCharmed, you make a good point. It is confusing to name it orbing if she can't actually orb with light. I'm glad you like our press releases. I'll keep doing them when I can. But again, I really am honored people are loving these. So many questions, I didn't even consider. But Piper would have more memories than Phoebe. I never consider exactly what age Piper and Phoebe were when they went to live with Victor. I hadn't though specific times yet. I do feel like having them have some memories might work, otherwise, in a way, we'd be playing it that they are the Paige/reboot sister where they have to get to know their family better and grow a bond. But in Phoebe's case, her memories were less than Piper's for being younger. But Phoebe is 20 and Piper is 30 when they become Elemental Witches. That's a 20-year time jump from Victor taking them in and when they find out. I didn't even realize it. Then again our earlier rundown, that everyone aged down by five years. I didn't consider or think about what lie or what they were told by Victor about their Mother and family. Given me lots to think about. Let me think more, anyone have any other suggestions?

What a story. I really do think this would make a great season finale storyline. What does everyone else think of this? plus the backstory of Mary Ann and Jenna? This reminds me of one of Es earlier ideas of the twins Peyton and Pearl before we settled on just Peyton. So would Mary Ann be the Melinda Warren in our story, who has all five element powers, and her twin sister Jenna doesn't?

Oh, that's a very interesting question. My guess is that she'd set up a manager to take care of the one in whatever town they were raised (not necessarily San Francisco, although it *could* be) and start a new one in Salem. That could actually make a very interesting episode - good thought, Ruth! My guess is eventually she'd find a manager for the one in Salem, too, so she can concentrate on being a witch. Along the same lines, I'm going to guess that Phoebe would transfer out of whichever West Coast college she was attending and into one in either Salem or nearby Boston. Maybe all of this should be brought into the series premiere - we might get ourselves enough material for a two-hour series premiere yet! I didn't think about that question, good job Ruth! We might be able to come up with more enough for a two-hour seris premiere. Phoebe transfering isn't that difficult, we could have her nearby in Boston. As for Piper, yeah, I do think she'll eventually find a new manager. Since our third episode plot has a warlock being her new manager, It would be fun plot for when she does finally find the best manager at last, she is convinced he's just out to get her and her family. While the person they are after to vanquish is actually someone they know very well, maybe one of Prudence or Patience's friends. OOOO! Totally LOVE this idea, Pheebs! I'm not really certain how close Salem is to Boston. I just know when my friends and I visited Boston in 1979 we were able to drive to Salem and it didn't take too long. So perhaps Pheebs transferring to a college in Salem would make more sense. Yeah, since it's not in San Francisco with its earthquakes, I'm don't think having the Woogy in the basement makes sense for our series. Actually since I didn't like how Kern kept mixing up with the Woogy for the Nexus for the Hollow, it would be fun to do our own version and keep it consistent or just skip it. Oh, yes, we have to include that - it would be fun to combine our version of 'The Witch is Back' with our version of 'Morality Bites'. That also sounds like a fantastic idea for an episode!

Well done Team Charmed Cafe! I'm going to call you all that. Since this is a group effort. Keep the press releases coming. I'm loving the episodes so far. Your titles are brilliant! My two question are: Does Piper owning her own restaurant mean she relocates the business or would she start opening one up in Salem or wherever you set the show. While being successful enough to have her old one still running where she used to live without her now. And I already see Pheebs, has thought of something. Any idea where on the West Coast the sisters will relocate from? San Francisco could be a nice little nod to the original's setting. Also will all the women live under the same roof? Maybe Patience lives with her mother Prudence and Paige has her own house a few streets down. Maybe some plot to have the women living in two houses on the same street, or one buys one after the former owners die due to a demon attack. Unless they do live all together in a big house with at least five rooms or Prudence lives at the bottom downstairs bedroom. Oh, *so* many possibilities, and I know that Granny Charmed came up with the idea of a "Granny house" (or whatever she called it) in the back yard. If we get rid of the idea of the Woogy, we could have someone have a room in the basement (mine was down there most of the time I was living with my parents), one having a room on the main floor, and then two rooms on the second floor, with Piper and Phoebe sharing one of the rooms. Anyone else have any ideas regarding this? Isn't Patience a photographer, but unlike Prue, she works with the police. So would need a darkroom in the basement to work in, so maybe it's her in the basement. With Prudence on the main floor, she's 70 isn't she so I think her need to be on the main floor would fit. With Paige, Piper, and Phoebe on the second floor. I'm not really certain how close Salem is to Boston. I just know when my friends and I visited Boston in 1979 we were able to drive to Salem and it didn't take too long. So perhaps Pheebs transferring to a college in Salem would make more sense. Me too. Love that idea! I just checked google guys, and apparently, it's a 38-minute car ride and about a 33-minute train ride. So your right Es, not that long at all. I guess Phoebe could train to the college from Salem. But then if you are having Patience on the police force, she wouldn't be going from Salem to Boston to attend to crimes that happen to be at her daughter's campus. Just Salem based ones.

After just what I was suggesting responding to Es just now, I put this together. YAY! I was *so* hoping you would!! OH, YES! This is the way to bring in our original stars - let them guest star! And the best thing about this being a virtual, imaginary series is they can't say no! Why do so many people spell "trial" as "trail"? This type of trial is pronounced try-al, while trail - which is what you follow in the woods - is pronounced tray-al. They're *so* two different words! For some reasons, that really irritates me, so if we're going to include the Salem Witch Trials, I had to bring it up.OH! SO very glad you righted one of Classic Charmed's wrongs - American "witches" were hung, not burnt like European "witches" were. Oh, I'll bet Alyssa and Shannen would love to play these parts! And I *love* the idea that it's another Warren who betrays her, not a lover. Our series is *so* about girl power *without* having to tear down the patriarchy like the ripoff! Totally love the ideas, Pheebs - great job of putting it all together! That sounds like a good idea. In the same way, we may end up renumbering some of them - we'll just have to see how it works out. Oh, yes! It needs more information, like our series premiere does, but if we can figure out more, this would make a fantastic finale - either for the mid-season break (with one part before the break and one part after) or season finale (with one as the Season One finale and the other as the Season Two premiere). I think when they find out that Prudence is possessed and before they find out who's possessing her - is that person good or evil - would make a great spot to split it! Since I commented as I went along, here's my edited version: How's that? I changed Mary Ann and Jenna from being non-identical twin sisters to just sisters because it's less complicated. If only one of our classic stars was playing both roles, having them as twins could be great fun, but if you want both, I think this works better. But if you had a specific reason for having them be twins, Pheebs, feel free to change it back. Let's just say that for the time being, go ahead and put in the episode number and date for when you'd like to see it aired, but knowing that we may change them later on. How's that?

I'm glad! I tried to answer that later down, although now I realize that if Piper was 10 when Phoebe was born, she would've known her mother, grandmother and aunt the same way Prue did, unless the spell that bound their powers also bound their memories, like the way Prue and Piper Halliwell had no idea that they had had powers as chlldren.

When I first came up with Paige Warren being able to orb because her element is Air, I saw it as similar to Shax's, just not as destructive, since that felt more like the wind, while Paige Matthews and Leo's were more elements of Light. I'll agree with that - we really do need a different name for whoever ends up transporting people - although since I hate using names to describe powers (even when I do, like saying Prudence has premonitions when I should say she sees the future), maybe we should just call it transporting - My having the one with the Air Element doing it was just off the top of my head, but we're now considering letting Patience with her power as the Earth-Mover do it, while Paige's would use her power as the Wind-Walker as her version of TK. The more I think about it, the more I like that, so if others agree, I want to update our backstory with those ideas. Didn't SR and Pheebs do a fantastic job with them? All part of the fun of making this a group project! Unfortunately I've got to start getting ready to go to work, so I'll reply to the other posts when I get home.

ELEMENTAL CHARMED (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)Season 1, Episode 22: 'The Life and Death of Mary Ann Warren, Part One'CLASSIC CHARMED STAR ALYSSA MILANO GUEST STAR IN SEASON FINALE - While attending a tour of the Salem Witch Museum with Paige and Prudence, who corrects the details of history, Piper and Phoebe learn more about their ancestors and about the Warren line. Through flashbacks we learn about the life and death of their ancestor Mary Ann Warren (special guest star Alyssa Milano) At the same time, Patience is called to the scene of a woman who may have hung herself, but who Patience thinks was murdered by a warlock. The Warrens learn that a witch hunter is targeting women believed to be ancestors of the Salem Witch Trial victims and may be working for the warlock. But Prudence has a premonition revealing that the witch hunter is a descendant of one of the en responsible for Mary Ann's hanging. When the Warrens use the five Elements to find the burial site of the Salem Witches, the spirit of one of the murdered victims suddenly possesses Prudence. Original airdates: Sunday, May 19, 2019, 8:00-9:00 PM ET, rebroadcasted on Sunday, October 13, 2019, 7:00-8:00 PM ET. The CW Great effort Pheebs and Es. I LOVE these! Having the original stars guest starring this way is perfect. Especially making them the ancestors. I'm sure you'll upset Holly for not giving her a role. Lol But since she and Shannen are not getting along. You made it realistic. Maybe Holly can show up later as someone, like say Mary Ann's daughter? Maybe Prudence's mother or some other ancestor.

Oh that is *really* an interesting idea, especially because Paige would realize what is going on with Prudence, having it happened to her. You're absolutely right about that. I see SR has already replied, but in case she doesn't address this, right now our plan is to have Peyton come back as the Big Bad of our full series. What I'm finding myself wondering is if rather than possessed by Jenna, maybe Peyton is the reincarnation of Jenna. I'd suggest one of the others be the the reincarnation of Mary Ann, but that wouldn't work since the others are all alive. But since Peyton is dead Peyton as Jenna's reincarnation would work. Also in another post, I said that if Rose was to be cast in this, I'd cast her as Adult Peyton...I liked Rose best as the Evil Enchantress. Not sure how that would fit in with all of this, but... Also keep in mind that just because one group of Team Charmed Cafe takes Elemental Charmed in one direction doesn't mean another group can't take it in another. Pheebs never did explain why she made them twins (I prefer them as just sisters), so she'll have to answer that one. I"m sure I speak for all of Team Charmed Cafe when I say thank you!

I tried quoting these Press Releases, but when I did, they all disappeared and I only saw comments from other people. So I had to copy them again. Yeah, that's one of ProBoards' biggest drawbacks - when you quote quotes within quotes, the first and last ones stay intact while the older quote in the middle ones goes away. I'm sure it's ProBoards' way of keeping the threads from getting too long, but it can be frustrating. I probably should've done them differently, but I always want to be sure to give proper credit to the people who post something. Your best bet in this situation is to go to the other thread, find the original post, quote that, copy it and paste it here. But it looks like you figured a good alternate way to do it, so you'll have to let us know how you did it - it might work better for us! Your putting lines between the press releases rather than quoting each one definitely seems to have worked better since it stayed put for me. If I get a chance, I might go back and try to reformat some of the posts that way. I'm very impressed with these. These look very good. They look so real like real ones.
Oh, yes! I SO think SR and Pheebs hit these out of the park! Me, too. Actually I've been thinking along the same lines. Much as I love these episodes, the more I think about it, the more I wonder if our current ideas for Season One would work better as part of Season Two, or at least be part of the second half of Season One. I think either the first half of Season One or most of Season One should indeed center on Piper and Phoebe discovering how to use their powers; getting settled in Salem and at Warren Manor - even deciding who's going to stay in which room, and if two have to share a room, which two, along with Phoebe transferring colleges - maybe first thinking about going to one in Boston and then deciding it's too far away, so she decides to go to the local one in Salem instead, learning more about their family, both the current one and ancestors, and - as you pointed out - most importantly, mouring Victor, the man who raised Piper and especially Phoebe and died protecting his daughters. SR? Pheebs? The rest of Team Charmed Cafe? What do you think? As long as I'm on this track of discussing possible changes, something else to consider. A lot of our episodes so far have centered around Prudence, Patience and/or Phoebe while I think The CW would want ALL of the episodes to center around Piper and/or Phoebe, especially Phoebe, who would play to their core audience, like the ripoff does or even Classic Charmed did. I wonder if OUR reboot doesn't really belong on The CW (since most of us are older, so we'd be more interested in the older members of the family) and maybe for the second season, it could be "moved" to TNT or Lifetime or even CBS - reverse what happened to Supergirl when her show went from CBS to The CW. What do you guys think about that?

After just what I was suggesting responding to Es just now, I put this together. YAY! I was *so* hoping you would!! Yep, they can't refuse. My apologies Es, won't happen again. Yes, I want it to be accurate. I think they would have so much fun playing these parts, especially with how well they played Prue and Phoebe being at odds with each other. I liked it being another Warren than a lover. And in our story, we haven't even plotted any love interests yet. I feel more and more, we're better off just letting the five women be the stars and only regulars in the first season, and add any supporting character we might add to the cast in the second season. If anyone has a problem with this and wants to have at least one or two supporting characters. Share the ideas here? I think if we do eventually add more regulars, I think we should limit the regular cast to seven, eight tops. I don't like shows that add too many regulars, and then you can't find a way to use them all. Thanks, Es! That sounds good too. I love this idea!!! Since I commented as I went along, here's my edited version:
Es, I LOVE this so very much. You took my idea's and turned it into the perfect two-parter. Especially because television shows these days always like to end a season with a cliffhanger, that resolves the following season. My idea's for the twins. I was playing around with the possibility that some prophecy mentions that a line of Good Witches and a Bad Line of Warlocks was born with a pair of twins, and the sisters were unsure which of the two of them would be which. But I couldn't figure out much more than that. If anyone can figure out a better solution and backstory, I'll be happy to hear it? Otherwise, maybe your idea Es might be fine.

Bingo! The idea of having their memories bound too might just be the solution we are looking for. But then still Victor has to tell his daughters what happened to their mother when they ask growing up.

And it has stayed intact for me I see too. Thank you very much ColtonCharmed. We are having so much fun with it. I think we're just having so much fun coming up with innocents, working the family and occupations into the story and the villain of the week, that we forgot that our first episode and the first half of Season One needs some more work getting the sisters adjusted in Salem with the family. I think this so much sense Es I really appreciate that people are bringing up some points and ideas that weren't considered. We really need to get the first episodes worked out. Something I didn't even realize. Maybe it wouldn't be right for the CW's audience. That sounds like a great suggestion. Doesn't TNT or something air the reruns of the Classic Charmed series. But moving it to CBS might be fun too, wasn't the first reboot of Charmed originally pitched to CBS years ago?
