The postcast is...alright but lord they barely discuss the episodes. I get it...Drew was 18 during S1 lol. They say like 2 things about the episode and then go off on tangents about other things. Hopefully it improves in format as they go along. I dont need an hr of straight talking the episode but...I need a good portion. Sounds like Holly has moved to Seattle and has retired from acting or so it appears. But she did get offered a role on The Winchesters. Too bad she couldn't do it. Is this the first time we heard she has moved? I dont think she's retired so much as she refuses to film a certain distance away from her house.

I didn't enjoy the third podcast. I'm getting sick of them going off topic. Brian adds nothing to the podcast really at all thus far. He admits to not watching the episodes to prep. Well then why even be part of it. I personally think Brian and Holly should just let Drew take full control interviewing each guest since he seems to be the only one who seems to be watching the episodes to prepare for each podcast. I'm hoping they improve. I really do. But I'm losing interest with the threesome. Unless the guests are good, I don't think I can keep up listening to those three. Unless they get it together and have a better structure to the podcasts So far the second podcast was the best of the three. John Cho I think is the guest for podcast 4. I will check that one out for him. Great actor and I liked Mark. I agree with everything you've said. The 3rd episode sounded like a sad man being selected to speak about 1 episode in his life that I feel he didn't even remember. Brian adds absolutely nothing. Drew tries to keep it on track a little I agree the 2nd podcast was the best with the director. I feel like Drew could do it without Holly or Brian. Brian didn't even ad anything to the first episode he started in - other than he thought he was supposed to be for Phoebe...which sort of did make sense. Agreed. Sometimes I wonder if having so many voices on the same podcast is what has ruined it. It's very easy to go off-track when they are too comfortable around each other. Had it not been three very close friends maybe they'll take it more seriously. Drew can handle it well enough alone. I don't think all three have to be on every episode together. When you interview guests, I've always found one on one interviews always run more smoothly, than having three or more people trying to interview one person it always go off topic with too many people butting in with opinions or taking it off direction too easily. They need more structure. If they insist in going off-topic and all, why not save the non episode questions/discussions for the end of the podcast. It would be nice if they went over the basic plotlines of the episodes. A plot, B plot, sisterly relationship moments, demon of the week or anything they liked or disliked about their characters in the episode. It's really not that hard to have a template for how they could talk about each episode.

Drew is terrible at being a 'creator' (if you have listened to the latest John Cho, Dead Man Dating podcast recently dropped). I liked that John Cho talked a lot about the chemistry and the respect the actresses had with each other in the beginning and how a lot of it was authentic acting. Holly revealing that her crying scene at the end with Alyssa putting her hand on Hollys shoulder and Shannen trying to communicate with Holly as an actresses in on how deep the crying / Mark send off was going to be. The fact that all 3 actresses stayed behind to watch the scene being filmed with Mark and his father before they went into the afterlife was an amazing reveal. They need to stick to these things that are interesting facts. I even felt that John Cho was doing a better job staying on track than Drew did sometimes. Drew comes across having some Mommy and Daddy issues sometimes. I did like the Dead Man Dating podcast as the 2nd most episode Maybe like HMC said - the podcast is just trying to find its footing - like I feel Charmed did with this episode. Just skip the next one Dream Sorcerer - and its pretty good from here on in. Happy Brian did his homework and that they ALL enjoyed this episode. Its like the best episode since the premier. And John Cho is amazing! - Love how he still has people approach him about his role in Charmed, very early into his careers and for Charmed as well.

I really think the guests are going to make this podcast the most interesting. I have to agree. I think because Holly, Brian and Drew have done interviews a lot, together, they tend to veer off topic, a lot (not that I mind LOL). I started listening to this podcast, now and so far S1E2 has been my favorite one especially with John T. Kretchmer. I agree with his assessment that it was obvious the script read clearly to have some funny undertones to it despite having "dark elements" to it. Which is why S1 is my favorite season, as I feel it's so balanced between romance, comedy, "scary", etc. I'm in the middle of listening to the S1E3 episode which is so off topic, but that's fine. It's nice to hear beyond just Holly, Brian and Drew LOL That being said, it was sweet of John (before he left) in asking Holly to tell Shannen he says hello.

Can someone give me a link to this fourth one? I'd really like to watch/listen to it if I don't have to pay for it.
Or if someone can just do a transcript that includes the parts that include John Cho - that's really all I'm interested in.

Skip ahead to at least the 21 minute mark to skip over the off-topic chatter at the start. And stop it during the last 15-20 minutes or whenever they go off-topic again.

Having listened to it, it was much better than the third one. John Cho is amazing. I love how much he loves working on the show. I really love the chemistry between him and Holly. It's really there. So nice how fond of each other they are. Yeah Drew has a habit of having to keep repeating and boring me to death having to remind us he was 18 in 1998. It's like dude we get it. I sure hope so. The really good episodes are coming up soon. How amazing was it to see that all three actresses stayed to watch John finish his scenes. That was so beautiful to hear. I'm so glad Brian watched the episode. I'm so glad they all agreed this was a great episode. Dorian is on next weeks podcast for 'Dream Sorcerer'. Will be fun to see if he talks about his early days of Charmed and working with Ted. I hope they get Ted on. But he might come on for Deja Vu or even the Wendigo since he had a decent part in that one working with Jocelyn Seagrave who played the Wendigo. Watching this podcast makes me wish he did stick around and had a bigger part on the show. Holly and John's chemistry you can tell just by listening to this podcast, even Brian agrees.

That's great that Dorian is on the show next. And I think the actress who played Aviva is on after that. The most interesting part of the podcast so far me is how Charmed was getting off the ground and how they were getting into the rhythm of things. I also did like in the John Cho podcast how Drew indicated that Phoebe's I Dream of Phoebe outfit in Dead Man Dating was foreshaddowing for the future outfits they would be wearing. Dead Man Dating is really that episode that sets the bar/benchmark for what good looks like for future episodes in terms of writing, chemistry between leads and guest stars, the mythology, drama and comedy, lessons, and messaging (in that Aaron Spelling episode sort of way). Plus its a great episode that showcases a minority group in San Francisco and makes use of the setting of show. It's going to be very interesting to see and understand where the cracks start to show and I can imagine it is after the shows success and when they come back after the mid-season break where the complacency in relationships/direction etc become more apparent.

I started listening and this is the annoying thing about Holly, she likes to play coy a lot. She brings up that Spelling envisioned another actress as Prue but refuses to name her. Girl...its been 20+ years! Also the way she kind of reluctantly brings up Shannen by name...I dont see Shannen/her ever being on the same episode if Shannen ever were to do it. I don't know why she wouldn't answer who it is. Likewhoever Spelling envisioned as Prue likely wouldn't care to have her name out. Like naming her will hurt this actress' career twenty years later. It'll just be a fun little trivia to the show and star. But most of the cast I find at times does that, being coy over subjects. What's up with this cast. Every so often there's always somebody not talking to somebody in the cast. Always bad blood between the cast. I remember Holly and Alyssa had a feud over something Alyssa said that upset Holly. Next apparently Shannen and Holly are not as close (or still do talk but not like how it used to be). Then we have Rose and Alyssa which really was the worst I've ever seen the cast feuding. It never stops. LOL I think Holly will start to spill more as they go on, especially once we get to S3/S4. That's what I'm hoping anyway. I wish they would add an aspect to the podcast where fans could submit questions.

You know, i just realized with coolio (lazarus demon) recently deceased many charmed guests are not with us anymore, elise barbas, and knock on wood i dont know how i would feel if something happens to the leads because eventually we got to be more attached with the characters they played so rewatching the episodes it might be kinda heartbreaking specially for holly brian and drew

I think when some of the regular guests stars pass like Grams for example - hopefully the fan base can get together like we have for Rebecca, Elise and now Coolio.

A sad reality the fandom will have to deal with. If it happened to one of the leads (knock on wood), It will be tougher for some to watch the show, Well at least so soon. But I'm sure watching it to honour the legacy of them would be something to do.

Just finished watching The Wedding from Hell rewatch and it is getting better.
Leo is actually watching the episodes and HMC mentions how the episodes are out of production order which I liked how she knew that.

4th sister was 1hr17min and they spoke about the episode for all of 17mins. I dont need Danielles work history for the entire podcast. She talked more about the show on her own than this one. She went from talking about how horrible they were to her to going on here and acting honky dory.

I liked the latest episode a bit better except how they keep forgetting that Prue and Andy were childhood friends and sweethearts - which is why their relationship is developing so fast.
I liked the fan contribution esp highlighting Charmed's popularity internationally.
Interesting that they dont rate The truth is out there episode higher than a 6 really.
So far the premier and dead man dating are there standouts.
I think the next episode The Witch is Back will be a hit.

When the heck is Alyssa going to be a guest on this podcast? I am really needing her and Holly together to share some stories.

Firstly, I disagree with most assessments on here. Being a big podcast listener, I know it can take a show time to find it's footing, particularly when it's not being produced. I could certainly give me an industry tip or two. But I actually really enjoying listening to it overall. Both the off-topic banter, the episode breakdown and the interviews. All really interesting stuff to me.
My favourite episode so far was episode 4 but all had their charm. I actually found episode 3 quite interesting, even if he did keep referring to James Reid by the wrong name...
As for Alyssa and Shannen appearing. Even Ted King. They'll be saved for bigger episodes. Wouldn't be at all surprised if Ted is saved until Deja Vu and Shannen could potentially be the beginning of S2 maybe? Alyssa would be great to have on for Is There a Woogy in the House? but equally, they might go with Christine Rose.
