That's weird. I thought Iheart contract requires consistent episodes. 🤔 All other podcasts I listen to part of Iheart, they only take a short break between seasons. Maybe they have just gotten bored already. Guess they get paid per the episodes they put out, so no podcast one week means zero pay. Lol |

Maybe they're still mourning Shannen's death? IK they did some episodes post her death, but it may be still too hard for some (not all) of them to do this without her. I'm just trying to positive...

Seriously? Second week without podcast? They can't raise their lazy asses even in f**k**g show's anniversary? I think Drew's Strategy is to stretch this out as much as possible. The 3 of them don't have any long term projects to make money apart from royalties maybe so they are doing what they need too i guess to survive and be relevant. (Drew was at a 90's comic con lol - he wasn't even in the show in the 90s or even borderline!) Its a shame for fans because the expectations are so high - given how well the podcast was doing when Shannen came on board. I would for Alyssa and Julian to rewatch Seasons 3, 4 and 5 with Dorian coming in from time to time. I also dont get how all 3 have to be there. Certainly if it was a 'Saving Private Leo' episode review, they could just skip to 'Bite Me' if Brian couldnt be there for 1 week or fill the space with fans coming in to share their views on the previous episode. |

Hopefully Alyssa is never going on this terrible podcast, especially after the way Holly (and her bff Rose) has trash talked her. Unlike Holly, Drew and Brian, Alyssa has an actual career and ongoing projects so..

Maybe those conventions were pre-booked for awhile. It might hurt to do this podcast because of Shannen's passing. I still can't listen to it because of it. IDC if it's already 3 months. Her death is quite impactful. And, needs more time to be honored.

It's a pretty long time especially for a forum board when most (not all) communities have switched over to things like Discord. other than news of the actresses passing or feuding! Well, Shannen's death still resides with me, and I couldn't care less if this podcast does or doesn't continue on without her. Obviously, since they can't seem to do it without her, she was pretty much the one keeping a professional schedule with the podcast. Now, that she's gone, nobody else is gonna do it. Which just goes to show how important Shannen's absence really is, but I digress. Snippits of information I find interesting and now mentions of Shannen through Holly's accounts. Maybe a 2 or more of them have had a disagreement on how to continue? Which, we've heard a thousand times through other conventions, interviews, podcasts, etc. Unless, it's somebody else like a guest star, I'm not interested in hearing the same 'ol thing from Holly, Brian & Drew's mouths, over and over, again. It is sad how the HoH podcast is the only remaining legacy of the 90s cult classic. It's not, though? But, I guess, if certain (not every) fans only live & breathe the podcast threads, I can see how the fandom may "look dead", but it's really not. There are OTHER things to discuss about the show. It's NOT just the podcast. If you mean "celebrity discussion", the podcast still won't be the only thing. I'm sure there will be more conventions, interviews, podcasts, etc., to come. I'm sure, they'll repeat the same talking points, per usual, where we learn nothing new, unless it's some guest star. Otherwise, it's just Holly, Brian & Drew saying the same nonsense, over and over, again. And, I get it. Those three seem to be the only ones "with time", but I digress. Drew's rewatch descriptions and reactions are also a reminder of mine when i was a 11 year old kid watching the show in 1999 And, I disagree wholeheartedly with his opinions (same with Holly & Brian). They just don't get/understand the show.
All this to say, the fandom is what's keeping this show alive. Not the actors. The show, podcast, actors, etc., would be NOTHING without its fans. Perhaps, if the fans rallied together and stopped paying the podcast for subpar professionalism, they might learn to do better. Otherwise, they're just gonna keep using the same formula because (to them) it's "working". It's not worth my fandom energy to cater to such nonsense. I'd rather delve into discussions that's more fun & sincere and not about the DRAMA or bad opinions, from actors who don't understand the show nor were they ever "writers" (except MAYBE Brian, and that's stretching it), to begin with. So, they don't really have a clue, what they're talking about. Unless, they get the ACTUAL writers of the show on or get guest stars talking about their experiences, it's just not interesting and quite honestly deters me away from watching the show. The fandom just has way better takes on what the show is all about and still come up with better topics to talk about and continue to keep this show alive through pure passion and not because we need money. |

Us fans can keep it alive via discussions, rewatches or fanfiction. I'm starting to enjoy Charmed more these days the less I focus on the stars behind them. Its the characters I'm invested in more than the stars. On top of being constantly reminded of Shannen passed. I don't know. As sad as it is were never getting any new Charmed project. I've made peace and to be quite honest I don't even want one. Charmed ended in 2006 and I'm fine with the memories I have from my childhood and early teen years from it. I don't think the podcast if it returns will even ever be that great. It does need some diversity with new voices. I don't think Drew, Holly and Brian can keep up doing it for the whole eight seasons. What can they even say that we've heard a million times. The people we want to hear from are from Connie and the other creative team. All of whom had a bad experience and don't want to relive it. Podcasts are such a commitment and I feel like Shannen's passing has killed their passion with it. Understanle because it was her who got this new one going and her death still is raw on them. We all know Alyssa will avoid it with a ten foot pole. I feel she's done with Charmed. Shannen's death and the feud I feel has closed the door on her ever being on that podcast. Too awardward. |

I do think Alyssa gave the show her best and LOVES having played the part of Phoebe. Holly just seems bitter and. add Brian and Drew and they seem like family members you grew up with sometimes. I guess that's why I still tolerate them because of the love I have for the show. Loved Charmed so much as a kid! It just takes me back to the early mainstream internet era and 90's nostalgia. |

The 90's nostalgia always makes me smile and the fond memories I have watching Charmed with my family along with other shows at the time like Buffy for example. It's my happy place. Its probably why I engage more with 90/00 nostalgia than anything more modern and it holds up for me.
