Yeah Shannen was passionate. I just wish the other three were. Get the sense the podcast wouldn't have come back at all if Shannen didn't push them to do better. The 90's nostalgia always makes me smile and the fond memories I have watching Charmed with my family along with other shows at the time like Buffy for example. It's my happy place. Its probably why I engage more with 90/00 nostalgia than anything more modern and it holds up for me. And 90s/2000s music takes me back as well. It feels like a world so long ago but within reach at the same time It's my happy place too lunchkingIt sure does me too music too. Its so long ago and 90s is considered a period piece by today's standards yet still so recent to me. I suppose anybody born in the 60s feels that way about the decades before my time too. |

Saw this on Reddit.  I assume 2025 will be the return maybe. I am half wondering if a new fourth host may be added but It takes time for contracts to get going. Didn't it take Shannen about eight months to get the Iheart deal. |

I need time to "regroup", myself before I can listen to it. It can mean many things. I'm fine watching the show with her in it because so much time has passed since her time on the show. Versus this podcast being so close to her death, it's hard to listen to. |

To add, I think Shannen was the only one to actually care about the fans which is why I think she was the most professional, out of everyone. I don't think it was about the money, for her. Which is why (when I'm ready) I'll only be listening to her podcast portions and not the money hungry hippos. Shannen said she wouldn't join the project unless she got paid. And she didn't understand why the other 3 would want to do a free podcast, which all 3 were willing to do. So it's not true that Shannen didn't think primarily about money. Although it's true that she was the most serious and professional with the project. |

I will take back what I said, if you have the receipts to back up that claim. I don't really stalk the actors' Twitter/X pages or anything of the like, to be fully aware of everything about them/what they say. That being said, it would make sense why the other three weren't as professional with the Podcast. If they're not getting paid to do it, there's no incentive to provide that high level of professionalism that Shannen gave. By the way, I think they probably left the podcast because I guess the viewership has gone down since Shannen's absence, and that's possibly put them off. I agree and have been saying that. The moment she died, should've been a clue that this podcast would go downhill, AGAIN. |

I've distanced myself from this thread for a while.
I've been pretty hesitant to listen to the podcast since Shannen's passing has affected me. It feels like it has died once Shannen has passed which is too bad, but not surprised. I'd also like to point out that although they were not getting paid to do the podcast originally they were still charging fans to pay them via Patron. And in some way, they were still profiting off die-hard fans willing to fork out money for extra content which they barely even took seriously. But, indeed, Shannen wouldn't do it if she wasn't paid (that part is true. She did enjoy the call-in on the old one and that is what prompted her to want to commit to it full-time and want them all to be paid and have a company back them with Iheart). I suppose with her dying of cancer, she needed the money for treatment and setting up her loved ones once she was gone. She treated it as a job while being serious and professional with the project. Sure wanting to be paid makes her look money-hungry in a sense, but at least its honest, and if being paid means taking it seriously, good for her I guess. LOL, It's a damned if they do or damned if they don't. If they are not getting paid, they'll still be profiting off Patron and their store and other merch. So what difference does it make if they're being paid to do a podcast or not? The professionalism is not there. Holly isn't going to enjoy S3 of the podcast, it'll bring up bad feelings about her BFF's firing and Prue/Shannen's death will hit hard for her, to top it off with the tension with Alyssa. It's just not worth the time. I think them calling it quits and or taking a long break is more healthy than continuing it just for the sake of continuing it and doing a half-ass job. Sorry for my long-winded rant. I just feel it makes no difference if they do it for free or do it for money. I just think Shannen's passing killed it. |

The bad blood and Shannen's passing has put her into an uncomfortable position. She can't come on without addressing Shannen, and she's damned if she does or damned if she doesn't in regards to the feud talk. Not to be negative, but I feel like Shannen's death has killed any kind of reunion or reconciliation with the surviving three leads. I wish they did that before Shannen died.  The feud and Shannen's passing will forever weight on their heads. They could put it aside and do something in memory of her via the podcast or fan events, but it just will forever be uncomfortable for all parties. How are they going to get past it.
Maybe its for the best that Alyssa just continue her career and distance herself from Charmed for some years, while Shannen's death is still fresh on everyone's minds.

I'll post their polls, in a few days. Something fun for Halloween. There are other threads out there, too, a bit more positive than this Podcast thread, IMHO, anyway. There's so much to discuss! Like I said before plenty of more fun threads to have fun with the show. I plan to do the other sisters, eventually but for now, it's Phoebe time! |

In the first episode, 'Welcome Home Prue Halliwell', at minute 18:00 Shannen says she didnt want to be part of the project unless she was paid and was a bit formal. Also re-doing S1 & S2 again when they already did those in the first podcast (without Shannen) does make it a slog to get through.
Any idea if IHeart could cancel the podcast quietly? Doesn't their contract require them to complete a certain amount of episodes.
Any chance they get dropped from Iheart and then switch back to their Patron podcast again and start from S3 or even S4 (POST Shannen to make it easier on Holly).

Considering how much HoH merch they've been promoting and advertising in last weeks, I have a feeling that the podcast was kicked out from Iheart. And they're going back to Patreon.
And by the way, yes. Judging by Drew's stories, they are recording the discussion of 3x01.

Hey just an update here.
There haven't been podcasts because the HoH is regrouping according to HMC on Instagram.
But there is not need to worry because the HoH are still offering their merchandise like triquetra printed cups you can purchase.
I love the dedication the HoH have to their podcast and that they there never a delay when new merch becomes available.

I get the sense they may have been dumped by Iheart or left it to return to Patron. I feel the earlier cause I dont see them leaving on their own when Shannen worked her ass off for getting them the Iheart deal.
The official HOH insta no longer follows Iheart and just the hosts and Shannen only.
We'll see. I get them needing a break after Shannen's passing. Though they still are dedicated to selling merchandise.

iHeartMedia only got on board because of Shannen. She was the big celebrity, especially compared to the others, and with her gone, I guess iHeart doesn't consider the podcast to be financially worthwhile to them.

We just don't record us talking in Discord Voice Chat xD Personally, I don't want my face, on the internet. I value my privacy. But, I'd be down to do it faceless. |
