I'm not saying that I don't love that he was there, but I would've loved it even more if he had never been taken off the show and switched places in the credits with kaley. I loved seeing him at the end of the episode, but it wasn't enough, just like it will never be enough seeing him for a single episode at the end of the show after all this year. Knowing that this was the last season should've been reason enough to give us the characters that we loved for the entire year one last time, not the time to take away one of the most beloved characters. I agree 100%!

Oh, I agree with you totally Maracev. I've said all along that my biggest disappointment was the loss of Leo this season. If it was Charmed's last year, why would you lose one half of the most important relationships in the show? On top of that, Brian was one of the better actors. Just look back at some of the best episodes like Morality Bites. His scenes with Piper were some of the best in the whole series (in my opinion). In my perfect future, we will see a spin off with Piper, Leo, and the boys.

Yes I agree 110% I have no idea why Kern decided to take off Leo on the last season. Knowing he is a fan favorite and as far as I know, nobody out there hates Leo. If it was budget problems surely it would cost less to pay to Brian then it would Kayley, Marnette and the people who played Billies parents and whoever else it was with the exception of Henry and Coop since they have nothing to do with her.

I can't wait. It's less than 12 hours before we'll see Leo, Piper, and the boys together again. Although I have to admit it is bittersweet. The reunion will also be our farewell. Shakespeare's line "Parting is such sweet sorrow," never been more appropriate.

I was glad that Leo was with Piper throughout the entire episode. That meant a lot.
I do agree with you guys about the credits. He should have been before Kaley.
I heard that Leo/Brian wasn't really supposed to be in the show past season 1. He came back because the fans liked Piper/Leo. That really shows how he should be placed in the crdits.

Actually, Holly asked for him back. I love you Holly!
At the end of season 1, all three leads were asked "what would you like for your character next season?" and Holly said "All I want for Christmas is Brian"....not exactly those words, but she did ask for Leo to be back as a permanent love interest for Piper. Smart girl.

I think the decision to bring Leo back was the best decision the producers made. He added stability and a sometimes needed voice of reason. The girls also played very well off him. Usually it is the male who is the leader, but Leo almost always let the girls make the decisions. He was always there to guide and support them when they needed him. I love when Phoebe trusted him enough to admit to him that she hadn't really vanquished Cole and he was able to overcome his anger and ask her to forgive him for not keeping an eye on her.

Leo was definitely the brother they never had, except for Piper of course for whom he was sooo much more than that.
What I love the most about his and Piper's relationship is that we actually saw it grow and develop at a nice pace and for the most part, things made sense with them. (Almost) Everything that happened to them was a natural progression of a growing relationship constantly getting more and more serious and committed. It was nice seeing a tv couple make it through (many, many) tears and struggles and survive going strong until the end.
I also thought it was always adorable watching them together because Brian and Holly have been friends for a very long time and that chemistry and familiarity definitely shows. There is enough history between them to make things seem more real.
I'm really going to miss them.

maracev, is this what you're talking about?
Q: Any hints for next season?
A: They don't give me any hints for next season. But I do know Piper's gonna have a nightclub of sorts, and, if I have my way, Leo will be back

I will miss them also. It really is a tribute to both of them as actors that they made us believe in them and their relationship for all these years. I cried with them, I laughed with them, and I celebrated milestones like marriage, deaths, and births with them. I know it sounds silly, but they did become real in a way to me. Thank goodness I have my DVD's to remember them by.

Pretty much but there was also another old interview post season 1 in which Holly said she had asked the producers to bring Leo back for Piper. I know Holly and Brian had been friends before the show began and perhaps she saw what great possibilities there were of her working closely with a good friend that the fans also liked.
