I didn't really like him mortale either. I think he was a wimp and not the Leo I loved. To be honest I didn't really like any of the charectors in season 8. I loved between season 2 and 6.

i really like leo as a character. He was very cool as a elder..and when he became a avatar it showed his great acting skills. however when he became human he was a wimp Your the first person I met on this thread to say something like that. Most people on this thread think that his character was ruined once he became an avatar. Did it make him more like Cole when he became an elder and then an avatar? See I never said that I liked Leo as an avatar. Yes I like him better when he was a whitelighter. What I meant was he changed in season 7. He became more confused and angry, something that we haven't seen in leo aside from the time when he went into a rampage after Chris' death. So let me rephrase my previous comment: I like Leo as a character. He was amazing as a elder and when he became a avatar, I saw Brian Krause's different take on acting ( ok not great but...different) even though I like him much more in the previous stages of the show. and when he became a human he seemed very weak and not right. The writers should have kept him as a elder or at least a whitelighter. anyways, leo is great and what does cole have to do with this??

I think as a whitelighter he was a wimp, as a mortal, he was a mortal. What would you have wanted for him to do? He helped out as much as he could without powers but he was in more danger.

From "Apocalypse Not":
"But they'll betray you. Alright, this is how evil works. This is why evil loves free will so much. Because humans use it to follow their heart. And evil takes advantage of that." - Leo
Does Leo believe in free will? Judging from the above comment, I don't think he does . . . unless he can benefit from it. Did he ever stopped to think that evil might also dread free will? That some individuals might exercise their free will to reject evil and assume another path? Hmm . . . I guess not.

Was Season 4's "Saving Private Leo" set in the future? In the episode, Piper pointed out that the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Guadacanal was coming up. The episode aired in mid April 2002. But the battle was fought between August 1942 and February 1943. And we're supposed to believe that Leo was eighteen years old when he was killed in November 1942?

Question: What do you guys think is the worst thing Leo has ever done? For me, there isn't anything that really stands out, whether it comes to killing Gideon, or siding with the Avatars: those are entirely different situations, wrong on different levels, and I'm not even sure they can be compared. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? For me it's killing Gideon just because he killed the son of a totally different Leo, one who who wasn't even part of Chris' life so our Leo should've had no connection to him, especially when that guy almost always treated Leo like sh*t. For me, that's even worse than what Paige and Phoebe did to Rick or what the Charmed Ones did to the Jenkinses...particularly when doing that had absolutely nothing to do with saving Wyatt, since he came back evil again the next season - what Leo did then (and would've done if Chris hadn't turned him into an Elder - no, I don't believe that Leo was ever an Elder in Chris' original future - in fanfics, usually; in the future shown in S6, nope ) is what saved Wyatt. Even the show said it was a huge wrong that was necessary - which I think is one of the biggest piece of sh*t that Kern ever came up with. I don't count him joining the Avatars as evil at all. He did that to save Piper. And the Elders were demonic compared to the Avatars...they were just misguided; the Elders were darn-right evil - not like the THEY of S1-2 at all.

I'd say killing Gideon also.

Question: What do you guys think is the worst thing Leo has ever done? Marrying Piper! Kidding... sorta No, killing Gideon definitely. Although I'm inclined to say Zola also... I know they made it out to be a mind control thing, but I never really bought that Barbas had that much power, I think Leo was just given a good nudge. Killing Kyle was self-defense (which is why I didn't get why they acted like Beta was a terrible monster) even if it was unnecessary since Avatars can freeze time.

So, did the whitelighters actually used the Angel of Death and Leo as a tool to get the Halliwells to do their bidding in "Vaya con Leo"?
