How could she love a demon though? All those bad things he did, yes she could have tried to love him..but just because she couldn't love his demon half doesn't mean that she was incapable of love full stop. Why not? A demon was subjected to emotions like all other beings. The series proved it. The idea that a being or individual should receive love based upon what he or she is (or was) is not love. Considering how monstrous humans have proved to be, why is that a problem? Humanity's social rules are a joke. As for Cole or any other demon being unable to feel helpless . . . huh? The series has proved that yes, demons can feel helpless. The problem with this series was its inability to embrace how truly horrible humanity is. The series was only willing to pay lip service to the idea.

I thought it was clear I was talking about Cole, not about his love story with Phoebe And Cole loved power and wealth, he had a dominant personality, he'ld never settle for a normal life, as a human, simple lawyer If he had not loved the power, he'ld discuss with the sisters of the Seer's offer but he lured the idea of a powerful son, of the creation of an invincible dynasty There's nothing wrong with having power in fact all leaders need to have a certain appetite for power -leadership is too stressful otherwise, and power’s effects on the brain act like some kind kind of antidepressant.

I disagree. I believe Cole's problem was that he loved Phoebe too much and was willing to do anything to keep her by his side. He never realized until it was too late that he had wasted his love on a woman who was incapable of accepting him for himself, instead of demanding that he be someone ideal in her eyes.

Coop seemed to realized how deep Phoebe's love for Cole was in season 8.

Coop realized also how traumatised was Phoebe, after Cole's betray, because to impregnate a woman without her approval is a big harassment
Why Cole'l do whaterver he wants and no one blames him?!

I still think it was the Source using Cole's body as a vessel to conceive a kid. Reminds me of that book and movie Rosemary's Baby. Pretty much that Cole/Source and Phoebe and the evil baby thing was probably based off that.

He was not possessed - think of Shane in 'Charmed Again' - *that's* the meaning of possessed and what the Source would've done to Cole had he actually possessed him--killed her sisters as soon as he turned her evil in order to stop the Power of Three--and their influence on Phoebe--once and for all.
But the Source didn't because the Source couldn't - the Source was gone, vanquished. Instead it was the Source's powers that went into Cole, influencing him, but Cole always had the ability to say no, or better, *tell* Phoebe and her sisters what was going on so they could help him by getting rid of those powers. Him not doing that was his fatal flaw, which eventually led to Phoebe turning her back on him--his fault, not hers. It's also why it wasn't her fault with the Wizard--she didn't have all the information she needed to make a proper choice because he didn't tell her.
But because he didn't like being a weak mortal when the Seer talked to him about the possibility of both having Phoebe as his wife and his son as his powerful heir, he talked her into turning to evil - the reason she turned against him. Completely, totally his fault. If he loved Phoebe as she was (he was as infatuated as she was - neither truly loved the other or they wouldn't try to change them into someone they could love), he never would've done that or turned into a crazed stalker, the real reason she turned against him. When she said "No!" he should've gotten lost. Eventually she might have missed him and wanted him back, but with him constantly stalking her, she had no choice but to turn her back on him.
There was nothing beautiful or romantic or anything else about their relationship starting with Season Four. There was a possibility that it could've in Season Three if Phoebe could've accepted that Belthazor was the true Cole, since he'd been that for almost 100 years (had he only recently become Belthazor because someone cast a spell on him and he truly was a human lawyer in his 30's and not a demon, it would've been totally different), and if Cole had kept Belthazor under control and been the lawyer Phoebe could love because *he* wanted to be that Cole, not because Phoebe wanted him to. But he could never do that, so their relationship was doomed from the moment she found out that he was Belthazor and convinced herself that Belthazor was a mask Cole could throw away, when it was Cole who was the true mask--if it wasn't, the Source never would've given him that job.
It's why I don't like that whole storyline - like Chris' story, it could've been so beautiful and instead it's so horrible because it's so screwed up.
