Your comic store will most likely order the book since majority do espically since it will be a new series from a tv show.
But just dont get your hopes to high up that it will be like an episode because writing a comic is way different espically with only like 30 pages.

Would anyone be interested in setting up a monthly issue discussion for each issue that comes out?
I mean like a thread the admins can sticky and everyone can post their thoughts on the issue?

Would anyone be interested in setting up a monthly issue discussion for each issue that comes out? I mean like a thread the admins can sticky and everyone can post their thoughts on the issue? I certainly hope that Assassin Witch or one of the others will do that -- it will be nice to be able to discuss Fresh Charmed. Oh, speaking of that, I've been doing some browsing through other sites and a lot of fans think that the second cover for the first issue may show that the firest story arc will be about the sisters reclaiming Magic School. Just speculation, no confirmation, but if that's true, what do you think of reclaiming Magic School for the first story arc? Also, the first cover for the sourcebook has fans wondering why Piper is wearing Phoebe's top (and has Freebie's boobs - did Piper get a boob-job??) and why Phoebe has her back to Piper and her hand on Paige's a$$. Lesbian Charmed, anyone?? Hopefully with that as a cover for the sourcebook, that's done more for shock value, the way the promoes for the latter seasons of the show always made the sisters look sexier than they did on the show -- see the photo cover for the first issue - when did we ever see the sisters actually looking like that or dressed like that, especially Piper? I always thought those were promoes for Holly, Alyssa and Rose, not for Piper, Phoebe and Paige, so I don't think they're really appropriate for the comic book, unless that's the way they're drawn inside. I'm still hoping they'll look more and dress more like those drawn model sheets:

Eh...I wouldn't pick reclaiming Magic School as a first story arc. But I really don't like it, so I may be a little biased in that respect.
I truely wished that The Magic School blew up instead of the manor at the end, so we didn't have to see it again.
Also, didn't we see Phoebe and Coop getting married in Magic School during the final episode.

Yes we did (by the AOD of all people...) Plus this story takes place a year after Forever Charmed. And from the sound of it, this is going to be the re-emergence of evil and the Underworld finally making a comeback.

*sigh* So the so-called truce between good and evil that Nomed mentioned during S8 only lasted a year rather than 20?
Actually I'm glad - who could possibly trust demons to be honorable??
The one thing to keep in mind about Phoebe & Coop's wedding, tho. We were never actually told when it took place. Maybe it happened in Magic School after it was reclaimed....
But I'm with you, SEER - I would've much rather preferred the Ultimate Battle take place at Magic School and have *that* place blown to smithereens. It was truly one of my least-favorite concepts in Charmed because it seemed so unnecessary. Even the writers seemed to think so when they let the demons take it over.
*sigh* Just realized something else.
In order to accept the comic books, I'm going to have to accept Forever Charmed as real and not Piper's fantasy as she dies after the explosion in Kill Billie, Vol 2.
*sigh*

You never know, Es. The comics might restore your faith in the Charmedverse...or failing that, it might make you turn it off forever!

You never know, Es. The comics might restore your faith in the Charmedverse...or failing that, it might make you turn it off forever! Well, I have a heckova lot more respect for Paul Ruditis than I *ever* had for Brad Kern, so maybe, just maybe.... I'm at least very willing to go into it with an open mind. And who knows? If Paul has been lurking at certain virtual series sites... I could always hope that the sourcebook shows that "Forever Charmed "was nothing but Piper's dream and now we get to find out what *really* happened....or if they never refer to it, I always could pretend that... That way when one of the sisters is in danger (especially Piper), there would still be a sense of drama, wondering if she'll get out of it, the thing I probably hated most about "Forever Charmed". ETA: Thinking about this made me use my lunch hour to re-read PCP's fantastically wonderful Blessed Be or as I call it "Forever Sisters", the perfect rewrite of "Forever Charmed," even more than my "Charmed Forever". Unless something in the comic books specifically makes me think that it *isn't* the way "Blessed Be" went, it's the way I'm going to think of it. That way I can truly go into it respecting and admiring all three sisters (actually all four..), something I couldn't do if I accepted "Forever Charmed" as written by Kern. Well, maybe not Amber's fantastically wonderful epilogue, since that's 5 years in the future, in 2009, but the rest of it, yes.

You think we might go more members after this comic comes out?
This site is kind of slow, I see members who haven't logged in since 2005 or 2006.

I doubt it because the comic is going to be reaching even less people than the tv show did. Hopefully the writing is good though and maybe it will even perform almost as well as Buffy has (constantly top10 book each month)

But I can't I am only on the fourth season of Buffy.

Well when you do get around to the comics, just dont expect it to be exactly like the show. Joss takes full advantage of it being a comic.

New Interview with preview pages. www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=25651From what I can see it looks like Piper is holding Melinda, but looking at Wyatt and Chris's ages it seems like more than a year but oh well. I cant tell who the first 2 pages are of but I am thinking its an evil witch and a demon. She appears to use TK to throw him off the balcony.

I like that last bit in responce to the question about small spoilers: Ruditis: Two words: Demon rats. (What? You said small details.)
Amusing. I'm curious how that will come about, but just amused at the line.
You're right about Wyatt and Chris. They look older. And I from the picture Chris looks older than Wyatt, but maybe Wyatt is behind him a little or something.

What is this? Piper using her freezing power again? No way!
Wyatt and Chris look as old as they were during Phoebe's spirit quest.
No Kern? Things are looking up.
Haha, Es...
Yes! So what he is saying is that the comic will go back to three sisters who happen to be witches.

What is this? Piper using her freezing power again? No way! YES! I knew Paul wouldn't forget about that! Actually I think they look older. They don't look like little boys as they did during that one, when Chris couldn't have been more than two. They look school-age to me and Prudence Melinda looks like she's at least a year old. I wonder if this means that all 9 of the next generation is already born and I wonder what names they'll use... I won't be happy if Piper's daughter wasn't named after her sister and best friend, the name they were going to give Wyatt if he was a girl. Unless Phoebe already has a Prue, of course, although I'd prefer her either having a Patty or a Penny or both. Funny how you thought that, while to me, that said "OH, OH!" Unless by original vision they mean Connie's. We can hope... The emphasis on that quote is "SOME familiar names do pop up in the first few issues", I won't hold my breath until we actually see them. *sigh* Since Adult Chris and Wyatt are mentioned and were part of Paul's "Leo Rising", I've got a funny hunch those two scene-stealers are going to pop up. I'm sure it will be a way to try to interest their fans, the way they were given a larger role in "Forever Charmed" when originally we were only going to see a flash of them at the end. Actually, unless they become Harry Stus - the way Chris did in S6 - I wouldn't mind it THAT much... But if suddenly the whole thing becomes a continuation of "The Perils of Poor, Poor, Pitiful Piper" and forget all about Phoebe and Paige, I'm not going to be happy. *sigh* I didn't buy "Leo Rising" when I found out that the scene-stealers were going to be part of it. Maybe I should've, so I could've known what's Paul's vision of the two scene-stealers. As for Zankou, who you emphasized, since he's my favorite Big Bad, I would *love* to see him back (and one of the characters in the preview looks an awful lot like him to me), but they better have a very good explanation as to how he was able to come back to life - that was a pretty good explosion that got rid of him. Unless he was astrally-projecting, too.... I agree totally with this. Oh, God, I hope....oh, God, I hope.... But again thinking of Paul's "The Brewing Storm", that's exactly what was truly the most important part of the story... This makes me think that maybe, just maybe, by staying true to the "original" vision, that - emphasizing three sisters who happen to be witches - is exactly what they're going to do. Hmmm. Another important part of "The Brewing Storm" was Darryl, and he's mentioned in that list, too. Think Paul will figure a way of bringing the Morrisses back to San Francisco?? Maybe get the Halliwells to admit how horribly they used him and apologize to him?? I can hope...

Everything sounds pretty good (we better see Prue!) and nice to know that we will most likely be getting actual demons. But while the art looks nice, i cant help but think it looks so stiff. Maybe it will look better when 100% done but everything just looks so staged and I hate Pipers outfit, thats not a Piper outfit and they didnt get her eyebrows right which sucks. but thats about the only negative thing I can see right now.
