Well, Aaron does chat with Victor, and then he lets Phoebe take him aside, as she, Cole, Leo and Victor huddle. Piper is off to the side. Does that suggest anything?

And I can't get out of my head how, when Holly did that TV Guide interview back in 2001, she said she knew she was going to be receiving phone calls (about the interview) but she really didn't care.

The death could have been avoided if the writers or whoever wanted her to stay on the show.

I don´t think Prue´s death could have been avoided beacuse at the beginning Pheobe was there and could call Leo to heal them but in the end both Piper and Prue could gotten killed, beacuse if Pheobe didn´t agree to the offer that the "Evil-Kanivel" suggested then both of them would have died.
And in the ending there was not much to do beacuse Pheobe agreed to that just of the fact that she wanted to save her sisters and there is nothing wrong with that, so i belive it was losing one or losing both her sisters.

If Phoebe Didnt Go To The Underworld Trying To Get Cole To Come Back To The Goodside She Could Of Helped With Prue & Piper With The Media On Earth And Then Phoebe Turned Back The Time And Shak's Was Ready And Piper & Prue werent.
Thank-God In The End Cole & her Didnt Last Forever Because Thats What She Gets For Kinda Killing Prue Really

Yes this all could have been avoided if Phoebe wasn't so self centered and Piper and Prue were aware they were in a street lined with housed that could be filled with mortals and the news being film down the road. if Phoebe was there to say the spell to kill Shax then Prue would still be here. But i do love Paige and what she brought to the show. A little humor People

I think everyone knows the answer to this question could prue the character's death been avoided? of course it could have but ask yourselves this could Shannen leaving the show been avoided? no because of the fight with Alyssa prues death could have been avoided but the writers didn't want to avoid it am i right?

Well I think this was more supposed to be talking about how in the Charmedverse, could Prue's death have been avoided, instead of real life. However, if you want to talk about real life, then I still say yes. They could've fired Alyssa over Shannen (Shannen was the superior actress, and based solely on Shannen's and Alyssa's performances in "All Hell Breaks Loose," they had no business firing Shannen), and that way Leo could've orbed in in time to save Prue and Piper, and The Source would've had his minions kill Phoebe instead. The show would've been much better had that happened, IMHO. |

But in this particular case it is relevant. It's the only reason Prue died. What you are bringing up - legitimate points as far as I am concerned and ones that I have elaborated on in other threads - is a different topic of discussion. The topic you wish to discuss is the choice that Phoebe made to abandon the immediate threat - Shax - in order to save Cole. The consequences of her decision made possible a scenario whereby any one, two or all three sisters could have died. No . . . it's not the only reason Prue died. The whole mess began because Prue allowed her pride to get the best of her and dragged Piper out of the house to hunt down Shax . . . instead of wisely remaining in the manor and preparing for another attack. This little act exposed them to the media and set everything in motion. Also, it was Prue who gave the final word on Phoebe's trip to the Source's Realm. Phoebe could have never done this if Prue and Piper had not agreed to help send her to the Source's Realm. Piper didn't want to. But Prue overrode Piper's feelings and saw no reason to not to help Phoebe. If anyone has to take the major blame for her death . . . it is Prue. |

i think that Prue's death could've been avoidable but however Piper would have been dead and Tempus the demon wouldn't have reset time and Prue wouldn't have been dead. It wouldn't be fair though to have Piper dead because she's my favorite character and that would be really sad.

It could have been avoided if many things happened differently, even the littlest of things could have affected the outcome. It was obviously meant to be though.
