I watched that one and i agree with everyone else. There was No Chemistry at all. I also thought that Lori seemed a little old for the part. She was supposed to be the youngest sister at that point.

Yes, and I hate to seem so sexist. But.... Lori was stick figure thin. Alyssa was more rounded. As a result, she appeared more cherubic, the perfect vehicle for someone to open a Book of Shadows into an unseen universe! Unfortunately, Alyssa emaciated herself by the end of the series. That's another issue, however!

She started that process about halfway through the series unfortunately.

Definitely unfortunately!

I think the change in her figure probably had something to do with her being 8 years older. People's bodies change as they get older, everyone knows that. It wasn't like she was skelton thin or anything.

Usually people get fuller as they get older. Alyssa is a beautiful woman but in my opinion, she lost a little too much weight, begining in season 4.
Topic, she still made a better Phoebe than Lori Rom

Yes sometimes people get fuller and sometimes they don't. I agree she is a beautiful woman and I thought she looked fine.
Yes she did make a better Phoebe.

A beautiful woman who a) has too many obnoxious tattoos and b) is too emaciated by series end. Of course, any version of her is better than Lori Rom! But, I still prefer the earlier Phoebe. Phoeme was a travesty: an emaciated, withered character who openly craved men and the babies they bring!

Don't know what rude had to do with this. It's not as if a character named Phoebe or Phoeme actually existed! Perhaps you are a member of the younger generation obsessed with tattoos. I'm not. It's a matter of taste, or distaste for that matter. Whatever! You're entitled to your opinion about tattoos or emaciation, for that matter. As am I. But, rude? Hardly!

No, the hope is that it will appear on the Season 8 DVD set. But, don't hold onto your hopes. Legal issues may prevent it from appearing. Besides, wouldn't that allow them to put out a box set of the Prue years including the unaired pilot. You know we'd all buy it again!

I hope they do put out the Prue years, and AM did get far too thin at one point to where she was starting to look like a prisoner of war. I prefer her rounded just like Holly

Yeah, just compare her calf when Cole is holding it in Season 3 to anything in Season 8. A cherubic Charmed One became Carrie!

Surprised she wasn't seriously hurt with the amount of weight she lost. I wouldnt' call her cherubic, as all of them were far from that

Take a good, long look at Phoebe's face in Something Wicca. It's quite round. I would say quite cherubic. I'll ignore other body parts.
Comparing faces, I would rather than Alyssa's than Lori's for the role. Alyssa's then cherubic face was perfect for the adventure-seeking, but redeemed Phoebe who had abandoned her delinquent ways by setting off for New York in search of herself. We want to believe and can easily believe that this really sweet innocent girl will open up the world of Charmed to herself and her sisters for Good, not Evil!

I think that Alyssa played the role of Phoebe perfectly, all the things that a typical American girl has and also the beauty to match her sisters and the humour also. Young Phoebe was so carefree and she evolved into a perfect demon-ass-kicking witch, prone to heartbreak, but also evolved on that front with Coop... Phoebe rocks and Alyssa was just as I said perfect for the role

She didn't evolve into anything with COOP, she was PhoeME for such a long time that she ended up forcing premonitions for self gain. Yet was the one always telling her sisters that they got into trouble for doing that.

She was sometimes PhoeME, sometimes PhoeBE! Until I catalogue instances of either personality, I'd hesitate to assert that "she was PhoeME for such a long time". It might seem that way, but annoying things tend to stand out more, even though they occur perhaps less frequently than we imagine!
