Oh yeh i watched a couple of there un-aired pilots! The old actress for Phoebe was ok but i think Phoebe was better because she looked young and fresh and brought something new!

I thought there was only one un-aired episode!! Anyway..i have seen the un-aired Pilot and i didnt like Lori Rom as Phoebe at all..She didnt seem to match with the other two like Alyssa does..probably for the same reason as carmine0924 said i guess Alyssa is all that i have known so im not willing to accept anyone else as Phoebe! I dont know..but i think Alyssa done a great job as Phoebe and wouldnt trade any of the Actresses! They all done a fantastic job at their characters!

I don't know about you but I am a huge fan of Alyssa and she did a magnificent work. I don't think the show would've lasted if Lori stayed as Phoebe.

Lori just seemed outta place when I watched the unaired pilot. She seemed like she should have been the older sister, and not the younger.
I think the pilot with Alyssa was better written, but I bet had Lori stayed, Shannen wouldn't have been in only 3 seasons.

is there any way in which i could see the unaired pilot, i would like to see what could have been. i can probably guarentee me liking Phoebe best but there is like a 5% chance lol....

I only found out not that long ago that Alyssa was not Phoebe from day one. It was from buying season 8 and watching the special features that I found that out. I was like 13yrs old in 1998 when the show came on and I was into cartoons and I didn't start watching it till like....2006. I so wished I wactched it from the beginning. Anyway, I'd like to see this girl Lori and see how she did.

I still haven't seen Lori yet, but for some reason, I believe that. I love Alyssa and I wouldn't want anyone else playing that part. She was brilliant as Phoebe.

i don't think that Lori Rom brought as much life and energy into the show as Alyssa did. Judged by the unaired pilot she only starred in ? You can't judge Lori's Phoebe just by watching an unaired trial episode that only was created as a "do you want to by this show" pilot. I know you all love Alyssa Milano as Phoebe, but you have also had an entire season of Charmed for getting to know her version of Phoebe. Lori only had one trial pilot as Phoebe, therefor its impossible to give a real judgment of her version of Phoebe, now if she had an entire season as Phoebe, then it would be possible to give an exact judgment of her. Remember, what Shannen, Holly and Lori did in the trial episode WAS what gave the OK signal to go one producing Charmed. Alyssa Milano had absolutely nothing to do with that, she just took over the part after the OK signal was given. |

I know I didn't know how Lori would have done as Phoebe and that we all got to know Alyssa as Phoebe, but not knowing otherwise, Alyssa did an awesome job playing that part.

I agree with you both. I've seen the unaired pilot and Lori did a good job but she didn't possesed that spark of sassyness Alyssa brought to the show.
