Charmed Without A Choice

Piper looked at Jake, and then at Chris.

"Chris would you mind if I talk to Jake?" She asked, Chris looked at her.

"No, not at all." He said and left the room. He went back up to the attic and found Leo and Prue there with little Wyatt and Chris. Leo looked up when Chris entered.

"Hey, how's Jake?" He asked.

"He's fine, for what I can see. Mom is talking to him right now." He said and sat down.

Piper looked at Jake, sat down next to him.

"Jake, I know this must be very hard for you and you must have a lot of questions. So, ask me anything you want. I am here to help you." She said and looked at Jake. After that she waited for his answer.

Prue was in one of the seats, with little Wyatt in his lap, the toddler instantly beamed when he saw Chris and wiggled out of his aunt's lap and ran over to the older man, his small trainers tapping against the ground as he clung to the other's leg and looked up and giggled. Little Wyatt had grown oddly attached to the man since he had come back from the future.


Jake paused as he watched Chris leave and his choclate brown eyes stared into Piper's equally brown ones and lowered his gaze for a few seconds before looking up. "Do you know who my real parents are, I mean, I doubt those...people..Elders or whatever they are called, would give you to me unless you knew them or at least had heard of them" he stated, of all questions to ask, he had to ask the one Piper could not give a direct, totally truthful answer to.

Chris looked at little Wyatt.

"Hey, little fellow" He said and smiled. Leo looked at him.

"He has grown really fond of you, you know?" Leo told Chris. Chris smiled and sat little Wyatt on his lap. He started to play with him.

Meanwhile, Piper looked at Jake. She was fearing that he would ask that question but she wasn't going to lie to him, but she was not going to tell the truth either. She sighed and looked at him.

"Well, yes I know your parents and they are really nice people, Jake. BUt I can not tell you who they are, I am afraid I promessed the Elders I wouln't say anything. I can not change the future just save it. I am sorry." She said looking at Jake.

Little Wyatt giggled and happily played with the older Chris, showing him his new firetruck. Prue smiled slowly, watching the two, even now, they were still brothers and Prue believed even if he did not realise it fully, Little Wyatt deep down knew who the older version of Chris really was.


Jake lowered his gaze and gave a soft smile and tried not to look upset, but he somehow knew he would not get a real answer. "It's okay, I guess I just wish I could meet them just once and know why they gave up on me, I guess I just want to know finally if it was my fault or not" he said softly, a sad smile on his lips as his choclate eyes had a pensive and distant look in them as he stared out the window.


"It's just hard, not knowing the thruth and somedays I just want to break down and I guess it makes it harder because I never had a shoulder to cry on when I was a child, I never had a first word for my mom and dad to celebrate over, I never had my first bike or my first day of school..." he trailed off and lowered his gaze, his face looked silent and calm, but his eyes showed how he really felt, devestated and heart broken.

Piper looked at him. She placed her arm around him and gave him a kiss on his head.

"I am sure it wasn't your fault, Jake. I am 100% sure of that. You're a great boy, for what I can see. I am sure that your parents would be very proud of you." She stopped and took a deap breath. She had her son right there with her and couldn't tell her who she was. Her eyes filled with tears. "you have no idea how proud they'd be of you." She said and tears started to roll down her cheeks.

Leo watched as Wyatt showed Chris his new firetruck. Chris stood up from the chair and kneeled on the floor with little Wyatt. Chris took a policecar that was next to him.

"Race you!" He told little Wyatt.

Jake watched her, slight confusion taking over as he saw her cry, why was she that upset? Maybe she was very close to his parents and she didn't want to see him upset over them or think they hated him, hundreds of ideas popped into his head, but for now, he would ignore them and slowly wipe away Piper's tears with his hand.


"Hey, come on, no tears, just smile" he smiled softly, his own eyes on the verge of becoming watery, but for now he held them back. "Thank you for being honest with me."


Little Wyatt nodded happily and pushed against the firetruck and began to race around the attic, laughing happily as he followed the older man.

Piper giggled. Right now she remebered when the Elders came to talk to them about Jake and she hid in her room and cried, and Chris comforted her.

"You're right, no more tears." She said and gave a big smile to Jake. "Common let's see what the others are up to." She stood up and went towards the door.

When she got to the attic, she saw little Wyatt and Chris racing around with the firetruck and the policecar, she smiled. Chris looked up when Piper came in the room. Piper smiled and Chris kept playing with little Wyatt. Leo looked at her.

"Are you OK?" he asked and she nodded a yes. "Are you sure?" He asked again, she took his hands and said.

"I am fine."

Jake smiled softly and followed her up the stairs, glad she was feeling better, it still felt odd that she had been the one who had cried and not Jake, but he would ignore those feelings for now and try and focus on other things. Walking up to the attic, he smiled as he saw Chris and Little Wyatt.


Little Chris curiously stared at Jake and orbed from the playpen onto the floor next to him and looked up at him and suddenly giggled and pointed at him and giggled again. Jake blinked and leaned down and picked up the small bundle who was smiling brightly at Jake.


Paige walked through the door, just in time to see Chris and Wyatt playing and Jake holding Little Wyatt and she gave an amused smile. "Well, looks like the boys are finally behaving" she teased and Prue grinned and flipped through the book.


Little Chris was looking curiously around the room and Jake sat in the chair and pointed at everything. "That's your auntie Prue and auntie Paige and your daddy and-"

"Daddy" stated little Chris in a babyish voice and Prue froze and looked up from the book along with Paige. Baby Chris's first word.


"Daddy" stated Little Chris once again as he looked at Leo with a happy grin.

"OMG!" Piper said in excitment. "His first word." She looked at Leo, who smiled.

"That's right, Chris! Daddy!" He went and got little Chris in his arms. Old Chris smiled.

"This is weird!" Chris stated. Phoebe came running into the attic. She looked at everyone.

"What did I miss?" She asked, she had a rough day at work and apparently she missed a lot. Piper looked at her.

"Chris just said his first word." She said smiling and then looking at old Chris. "How do you feel, mister?" She asked looking at him.

"Weird." He said, out of all the words in the world he never imagined that Daddy was going to be his first one. Phoebe looked at little Chris.

"That's my nephew." She said in babytalk to little Chris. Leo smiled at old Chris.

"You just said your first word." He said.

"I know, I heard myself." Chris said, he had a weird feeling. He had no idea why but he had it.

Little Chris giggled happily, having no idea why everyone was excited but they clearly were happy by his word so he would continue to say it and clap his hands together. When Phoebe came over, he giggled and kicked his small feet in the air, seeming to enjoy his father's embrace as he looked at Leo and pressed his small finger to his nose.

"Daddy!"


Prue, after doing the same as Phoebe and Paige and going into aunt mode, looked at older Chris and smiled and walked over and nugded him in the shoulder. "It's a different time Chris and it seems you were a fast talker" she grinned.


"Only problem now is we will never get him to stop" teased Paige to the Older Chris and Jake smiled softly, this was what a family should be, it was not the magic or the fighting that truly held them together, it was the thing you couldn't see, the love, the compassion, the care they all shared together, that was what really made them all Charmed.

Chris looked at his aunts and smiled. Right now the weird feeling vanished from his mind. He looked at everyone that was in the room. His parents, his aunts, his little big brother, little him and his baby brother. He couldn't be more lucky. Piper walked towards old Chris and gave him a big hug.

"I love you, Chris." She said.

"I love you too, mom." He said. Phoebe looked at them and sighed.

"Look at that!" She said to Paige and Prue. "Pure, not interested love." She said and then sat down next to Jake.

Paige grinned at Phoebe's comment and Prue playfully prodded Phoebe's face. Though the happy , family moment was short lived as a bright blue glow shone from the edge of the attic wall in the shape of the Charmed symbol.

Paige and Prue spun around to see the bright glow and were about to say something when a young figure appeared stumbled out of the symbol. Not only was it shocking that someone had come out of the same time spell as Chris and Bianca had ages ago, but the person looked identical to Leo, but he was a teenager by appearence, wearing a white wife beater top and some jeans and trainers, a thick brown belt around them with a skull belt symbol and a black and white hand band on his left hand with holes for the fingers.

"Oh sh!t.." mumbled the Leo look alike teenager.

Piper looked shocked at the guy who just appeared.

"Who are you?" She asked. Leo looked at Piper and then at the person that just came out of the symbol. He had no idea what to say. Old Chris got quickly in front of little Wyatt and near Jake, if that was another trick, he was going to protect his brothers. Phoebe looked at the guy as well.

"My sister asked you a question." She said and looked at Prue. "Who is this guy?" She asked and Leo looked at the look alike younger version of him. He gave little Chris to old Chris. He came closer to the guy and looked very carefully at him.

Jake frowned when he saw the other and stood up but paused when Chris stood in front of him and he silently looked at the young man who was backing away slightly. Paige stood to his feet, hands on hips and Prue looked at Phoebe and then back at the teenager.


"Not so sure, but unless he answers the question, there won't be much left of him" she stated and the young man looked around, completely shocked and swallowed slowly.

"Dad is so gonna ground my ass..." he mumbled gently.

"Alright, that's it, crystals, circle!" yelled Paige and she began to orb the crystals to the man but he raised his own hand.


"Crystals!" he called and in the same orbs, they changed direction and appeared in his hand. "Relax! Let me just explain!" he said and held his hands up with the crystals in them.


"Then start talking" stated Prue who folded her arms and the young man opened his mouth and paused and placed the crystals down.

"I'm...Victor....I'm from the future" he said slowly.

"Victor?" Piper said looking at the guy. " that's dad's name." She said, she then looked at the guy. "Are you family?" She asked. Piper looked at the guy, he had her father's name, and apparently Paige's power. Chris watched the guy and then looked at Jake.

"Friend of yours?" He asked, he had little Chris in his arms and little Wyatt grabbing his leg.

"Don't be silly he doesn't know him, Chris." Phoebe said. "He wouldn't have the same face of who is this guy that we all do."She looked at Jake. "Am I right?" She looked at Jake, because if he knew the guy, she defended him over nothing.

Jake nodded at Piper. "Never seen him in my life."

"I really can't tell you, future consequences and all" he stated quickly and Paige raised an eyebrow and looked at Chris. "Wow, looks like you started a teenage trend in the future" Paige stated, teasing the other before looking at Victor.


"How do we know you aren't lying?" she asked and Victor sighed and looked back at where he had come from. "I didn't mean to go back in time, Grandma had me mixing potions and she always said that she knew what it was like to be young with powers and I sort of wondered out loud if it was true and the potions I was working on..sort of blew up...god mom is going to give me such a lecture...she's been hanging around Grandma too much..."

Piper looked at Victor.

"Hold it, right there! Your grandma? Who is your grandama?" She asked looking at Victor. Leo looked at Piper then at Victor, then at Chris and then at Jake.

"Well at least we know that he is family." He said. "Otherwise he wouldn't have been able to enter the attic and if he entered the attic means that he was inside the house." Leo explained. Chris looked at his father, what he just said made sense.

"What?" Phoebe asked. "He is family? I am so confused right now." She said then looked at Victor again. "Who is your mother? And what is she going to lecture you about?" She finally said.

Victor groaned out at Leo. "Grandpa, that was so uncool I mea-" he froze and his eyes widened and he covered his mouth and Prue and Paige's eyes widened. "Grandpa!?" they yelled in usion and spun to look at Leo and then at Piper, Piper was the Grandmother, which meant Victor was either Jake's, Wyatt's or Chris's.


"Look, you already managed me to screw up enough, all you need to know is that I need to get back before I manage to get grounded" he stated as he ran his hands through his hair.

Leo looked at Victor he had no idea what to say. Piper took a deap breath.

"OK, Victor. You need to tell me exactly what did you do before you appeared here." She said trying to keep a calm voice. Chris watched carefully the boy, trying to process what he just heard. "I need to know what potion did you use or spell did you cast, OK?" She said again looking at Victor. Leo finally spoke.

"Victor, if you want to get back you have to tell Piper what you did, exacly and with details, OK?" He said. Then he turned to look at where all his sons were. He saw Chris holding little himself, Wyatt holding Chris' leg and Jake sitting there. He wondered who Victor's father was.

Paige was shocked beyond belief not only for the fact her grand nephew was here, but because he seemed to be more like Leo's twin, she had heard of family similarities but this was ridicolous.


"I'm not sure, I guess I could show the ingrediants but I wasn't really paying attention, it just sort of..blew up" he stated slowly, not wanting to sound like a complete newbie but he had never been a fan of potions.


"I think I can relate to that" smiled Paige softly in a reassuring way. Jake watched Victor curiously, trying to see if he could see any traits of him in Wyatt or Chris in a vain attempt to find his actual father.


Suddenly, the same flash of light appeared that had sent Victor through and two other figures appeared, tumbling onto the floor, causing Prue eyes to grow wide and confused.

"What is this!?? A Blast to the past festival!?" she demanded but she was quickly quitened by the faces of the two girls. One of them could have passed off for Phoebe, though not as close of a resemblence as Victor and Leo, but it was still close, but she had dark blonde hair which could almost be called brown and a pair of burning green eyes.


The second girl had more of a mixed look, her main facial features were close to Piper's, but it was clear she had dyed her hair as it was a dark brown with blonde streaks and vibrant blue eyes. The two girls looked each other, then their past family, then each other.

"Crap" they both stated.
