Honestly, after reading this thread and seeing the surprising result of the poll, I truly *was* considering getting that DVD. But the more I thought about it, I realized that wouldn't be a very good idea for me, any more than getting the full set or getting S4, S5, S6 or S7. Just not interested in Charmed's alternate-universe spin-off, which is what I consider S4-8 to be. For those who are still interested, go out and get the set and ENJOY!!! I'm just not one of them.

Which I completely understand dear, given the generation gap between us and many of the other fans here. 

But for those fans, I really enjoy reading the opinions for those seasons.

Hmmm....just got an idea. Part of why I hate Piper and Leo in S8 is the way Piper treats him as her little errand boy and then has the GALL to be upset when he dies and gets taken away. Would I do better to just watch the second half?

Although then I would still get stuck with the barfy story of Phoebe and Coop...

Nah, I think I'm better off not buying it.

I wouldn't go out and buy it but maybe give a few episodes a rewatch. Paige's arc was worth it for me I think.

Yeah, if I could just get Paige and Henry's story, I think I'd enjoy it. But that's such a small part of the season, I don't think it would be worth re-watching.

Glad you liked them, dear. Too bad they don't have more for every season or perhaps they do, I just need to go looking. So some of my least liked episodes I could watch just some of the good moments. 

Although too bad the DVDs don't come with a play all episodes without Piper's story or play all episodes without Phoebe's story. That would be fantastic to watch episodes and have all the stories in each episode fast forwarded automatically. If only that were true, but I'd still find things in episodes I dislike still I believe.

I am up to 8x05 Rewitched and I like my rewatch. 

The only thing I don't like is.... Piper, unless the episode is about her e.g. Run, Piper, Run.

I enjoy Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan and their portrayal of their characters they are quite optimistic. However Piper is just whinny and annoying. I kinda wish she disappeared instead of Leo because I like Leo a lot in this Season. Heck, I even like Billie's story so far (haven't come to Christie yet).

I just watched the episode where they met. It's so authentic! I love it.

I really like Paige and Henry and Leo in this season the most. Piper, I find to whinny and Phoebe, I find hard to relate too when she's feeling sorry for herself. Billie, up until my current episode "Battle of the Hexes", I don't find annoying yet.

If there were a compilation of Leo clips for this season, I would love!

I stopped watching at Battle of The Hexes. I can remember whats coming and I think I'm giving it too much of a go! he first half isn't entirely bad but I'm just anxious to watch the second half.

Don't understand why they couldn't just finish at Season 7.

So much love for Season 8. I'm curious if people's opinions have really changed, or they just liked a certain few stories in the season like Paige/Henry.

To me, it looks like they like Paige's and Henry's story, but that's it. That wasn't enough for me to say I like it. I stuck with "still dislike it".

I actually watched much of season 8 yesterday. I agree that it is a far more enjoyable watch now than it was 10 years back. I always did like the first 3 or 4 episodes. And I never minded Kaley Cuoco. I feel she did as good a job as she could have, given what she had to work with.


But maybe this season wasnt the complete train wreck I thought it was. Christy was awful though

Used to hate it, now I just dislike it. I've softened to a lot of things in general over the years and with Charmed season 8 I'm able to see more of the positives. I didn't hate Billie, I loved Henry and his relationship with Paige. It's still my least favourite season and there's a lot I don't like about it, but it doesn't infuriate me the way it used to.

Except Coop, he can go walk off a cliff.

I didn’t mind billy hanging around the house learning stuff. But It started going downhill once billy found Christy and then the whole disappointing ultimate evil reveal
