And this is confusing because this is actually WOEE House and not the one they were shooting on earlier... Maybe this will be the exterior and the one I posted before will be used for the interior ?

That could be a thing. Though that's interesting because they don't look the same size.

That's interesting dears. Maybe the exterior will be the one used in that show, I guess like Charmed was known for stock footage of San Francisco. They might just recycle the exterior from another show.
Maybe they are testing to see which house they like better? I mean this can all change once the reboot goes to series.

Looks like the third sister will be called Maggie (I guess Margarita is still her full name) I'll take Maggie. That's a bit better.

Do we know anything about the father? I hear that the mother dies right away, but what about the father. Maybe if the oldest sister is a half, her father might have been a warlock or demon and why the mother sent her away for protection?

Haven't heard anything about any fathers. We still do not 100% know if Macy is a half sister or not.
But the route of her father being an evil being would honestly be more intriguing.

That would be different but at the same time good for the reboot. Having a big bad or villain being related to the family or one of the sisters adds something Classic Charmed never did.

I like the sound of the father being evil. That I admit sounds intriguing.

I would be surprised if they do rename the reboot as I’m sure they will be looking to capitalise on the ‘most watched show on Netflix’ hype. But even a small change to something like, ‘The Charmed Ones’ or ‘The Power of Three’ could work well. That's what I wonder, they could change the title a little and those two could work just as well. Not perfect, but not using the name Charmed. Easiest would be The Witches of Hilltowne or something. Since that is the fictional town its set in. But I'd be surprised too if they renamed it. They seem so dead set on capitalizing on Charmed's success. I heard about this reboot. I really don't think this is the time to reboot it, they should wait another 10 years. It still feels too early. Do we know if these new sisters are all going to be in college? I thought I heard that the oldest works on the campus. But what about the middle sister. I hope not because I don't want this show to be too Buffy-like. I liked Charmed because it was past all the high school and college periods. I can handle the youngest sister attending college, but not the other two. LOL, it's funny that the reboot has them in college when I just finished college about five years ago. Yet I grew up watching Classic Charmed where the characters were older and the same age I am now. Yet this reboot is aging them down. I guess Macy is still close to my age. But a college setting I'm not so sure how that is even going to work for a show about witches. The Secret Circle failed on The CW as a series of teenage witches, will this reboot do any better with college. The small town setting doesn't leave much story possibilities compared to Classic Charmed's bigger city feel?

It's strange to think of the girls in Classic Charmed as in my age range now, as I think you keep a degree of childlike wonder about the shows you watched growing up. I still see them as "adults" even though I'm now in between S1 Piper and Prue in S1 I wonder if this is just my imagination but I think our generation is staying "younger" for longer. It's like 20s are the new teens, probably because of the expense of education and housing. Maybe that's why they've aged the sisters down in the reboot. By comparison, Prue and Piper seem like middle-aged women compared to 20-somethings these days and "rebel" Phoebe doesn't seem all that immature!

The small town setting doesn't leave much story possibilities compared to Classic Charmed's bigger city feel? Secret Circle was actually getting decent ratings for CW back then. The only problem was the show had the same budget as Vampire Diaries but only gets half the ratings. There were other shows back then who're cheaper and had more episodes under their belt that cancelling Secret Circle was the cheaper option. Secret Circle also had slow pace and too much focus on romance between leads that have no chemistry at all. Then add the fact that Jinx Britt Robertsons is attached to the show then you have a recipe for disaster. She has a number of flop movies and TV series under belt. Not even Disney/Netflix magic worked on her. Her show this Spring on ABC just flopped big time. One thing Charmed reboot is doing right is picking Canada to cut cost.

Secret Circle also had slow pace and too much focus on romance between leads that have no chemistry at all. Witches of East End's 2nd season also had the romantic problem. Suddenly most of the show revolved around men and soulmates and obsessed love and it just sucked. Too much focus on romance whether chemistry or not seems to be the problem with most CW shows. Instead of making plot and characters better individually as seasons progress, they turn to intensifying romance And not even well-written romance. It's like they use the same make-up, break-up and repeat everything all over again formula across all their shows. Characters are just obsessed with what their significant is doing what they should do for them, taking and getting advice from other characters about their relationship and...that's pretty much their whole life. And as excited as I am about a Charmed reboot pilot, the boyfriend casting, the introduction of Leo character in the pilot rather than much later, how much screentime are the sisters actually gonna share with each other? Or if they do share more screen time, is 90 percent of their conversations going to revolve around the respective guy and gals they're dating or dated long ago? Can't they not make boyfriends as part of the new sisters' character development? For the pilot aleast?

Or allow Macy and Mel to keep their partners. Yes, there will be drama. The girls find out they are witches. Their SOs will be considered with what is going on. But allow things to play naturally and don't make artificial tv drama.

I agree. The on-off again trope has been done to death. Sure, have normal relationship dramas, but don’t needlessly drag out petty arguments/cold shoulder/moody, forlorn silences for half a season. Is it so radical to imagine all the girls to actually be single at the same time?

*gasp* HOW DARE YOU THINK PEOPLE CAN BE SINGLE AND HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME!
It never makes sense. There's enough natural things to play with that you don't need to break people up and send them away because you don't know what to do with a couple.

That always seems to be a problem with a long running show. They think a couple being together and happy is boring that it needs drama and breakups to keep things fresh.
But because they are young. It isn't that out of the question that the youngest sister doesn't have a serious longterm relationship. She's barely 18 isn't she.

I don't mind romance in shows so long as it doesn't overrun the show and what's it's about. Have it be 70% plot driven storylines / character developments and 30% romance and I'm happy.

There's enough natural things to play with that you don't need to break people up and send them away because you don't know what to do with a couple. What can I say? It's a truly revoluntionary idea! For me, it feeds into the stereotype that a female character can't be engaging on her own and without a man's involvement. I don't know if the reboot will be passing the Bechdel Test, that's for sure. That always seems to be a problem with a long running show. They think a couple being together and happy is boring that it needs drama and breakups to keep things fresh. But because they are young. It isn't that out of the question that the youngest sister doesn't have a serious longterm relationship. She's barely 18 isn't she. And it's always the same contrived drama - "bad boys" who either won't commit, won't show their feelings or cheat on their girlfriends. At least Prue and Andy's relationship was more interesting as the female was the guarded one for a change.
