Pilot Spoilers:
* The mother of the Charmed Ones name is Marisol. Marisol may or may not have 2 of the 3 powers of the sisters. Hence why she's very powerful.
* Mel will use her time-freezing power differently than Piper. But, it will show respect/nod of how it was used in the original.
* Macy will not channel her power through her hands.
* Maggie, the youngest has the power of tactile telepathy -meaning she must have physical contact with the individual to read their minds.

Awesome. Contact only makes more sense for mind reading. Wonder if Maggie will be able to read her sisters minds. Like in the original where they had to find a potion to block that power from being used on them

Agreed! I am SO relieved about the tactile aspect of Maggie's telepathy. If it had been any other way, it would've made her far too powerful.
Oh, I wonder if Mel will channel her freezing power through her eyes. How different can they make it from Piper's power? Also, if Macy's TK is not channelled through the hands, that just leaves the eyes as well, right?

I never really liked it when Prue channeled TK through her eyes. It always seemed awkward the way she moved her head or squinted her eyes. TK for me is better through the hands. I’d love Mel to be able to freeze people ice cold even though that probably won’t happen. I loved how Piper did it in “Bride and Gloom “ when she became evil
I remember pipers power in one episode advanced to her being able to blow things up with her mind. The chandelier in the dining and the toaster in the kitchen when she got angry. But it never happened again after that one episode.

Me neither. Those head bobs and eye squints looked a bit silly, even though I enjoyed the idea of the powers growing. Funny you should say that about ice-freezing as that was the way I wanted Piper's power to progress: from putting moving objects in slow motion (like her past life) to freezing them, then on to encasing them in ice.

I'm still mixing up names, but I've wondered if the one who can move things with her mind will do it via summoning it like Paige did.
SO very relieved that the one who can read minds will only be able to do it if she touches them. It does mean she won't get premonitions from touching an object but since I've seen no signs of innocents being important in this series, no big deal.
I think if it's only by touching, being able to do that with her sisters could be interesting if the sister wanted to tell her something privately.

In the audition videos, while she was relaying the info to Niko of Macy showing up at their house and announcing she might be a lost relative, she became angry and agitated which led to her powers activating and the restaurant slowing down. I think she'll channel her powers with her hands but with different movements than Piper's. She can possibly make a waving motion and freeze individuals or she can even command them to "stop" or "wait" and they freeze. Idk. The possibilities are endless. Macy, on the other hand, will possibly have to focus alot more hence she's gonna be squinting her eyes or just moving them in the direction she wants the object or person to go to. |

Lulla (Season Zero Guy) said in the pilot preview that there will be "Monsters/Demons of the week" so I guess there's gonna be innocents to save. Also, in regards to Macy and using her power it's all about the mind and concentrating so she'll be using her eyes for now. Like Prue in the pilot, anger is her trigger. I have a feeling Maggie with her tactile telepathy will be used in a comical fashion with her sisters just like Phoebe with her empathy. Since Harry is not supposed to be who he says he is, he might do a Chris move and find a potion to suppress her from hearing his thoughts as well as her sisters. |

YAY!!! So the mother may or may not have 2 of the 3 powers - okay. We have no information on any additional family members and just know of their mother. Looking on Charmed, they had Grams and Patty having each having two of the 3 powers. So I guess they just decided she will have two and making her so powerful, it's a relief she dies so quickly. She sounds a little Mary Sue to me. I'm so confused by all the names. They keep changing them. I mix them up so much. |

I'm VERY happy that she has to touch them for it to work. And I'm with Es, since we are likely not getting innocents, then it's no big deal we are not having premonitions. |

Gotta say, when the house was gonna be secluded, I liked it. But that's not at all what I'm seeing lately. That's too bad. It would have been interesting if it were secluded. Saved exposure from being seen doing magic in public and kept things real wondering what the neighbors think? |

Well now they don’t need to worry about neighbors and exposure from noisy demon fights. I think the only way they could ever attempt to connect this to classic charmed in any way is if it’s spun as being a new set of charmed ones the power of 3 was passed onto after the original classic charmed ones had fulfilled their destiny. |

I'm so glad Maggie has to touch to read minds. Didn't want any Empathy style stupidity. Plus mind reading hi-jinks is fun for an episode like "They're Everywhere" but I daresay it'd get old. Plus it's a nice call back to Phoebe's power.
I'm thinking Mel will freeze time by squeezing her eyes shut when she's scared.
