I would love to hear from Season 6 fans as well!

I'm not voting. I don't know what my answer is.
I think the idea is fantastic. The execution is lackluster. (Wow. Shocking. That's Brad Kern for you.)
I wish Chris-Crossed was more than one episode. I love the idea. But looking at the season at individual episodes, meh. Not great. Some bad ones. Some great moments.
I guess I'll always have a soft spot for that future and what if possibilities.
Looking at it as a whole, nice concept. Looking at the individual episodes, nah. But I also feel this way about S4+.
So "most disappointing" - I can agree and say Yes. Probably different reasons than others. Most Disappointing because of the potential and the overall plot of the season and then the execution failed.

I voted YES! I thought season 6 had some decent moments early on but the show got so much worse towards the end of the season. Or maybe my memory is a little foggy? LOL. I have watched so many episodes and seasons in a short period of time they are all starting to get mixed up in my brain...
That being said I can confidently say I could not stand Phoebe in season 6. I didn't like Piper much, either. Paige seemed tolerable. I thought Drew Fuller seemed like a nice enough guy, and I liked how his character was usually portrayed in a serious manner, but overall his character arc was just confusing and not very memorable.
P.S. I just finished season 8 a little while ago and I can now say i think it's SLIGHTLY better than season 6. By a hair. Season 6 had the better season finale, as i didn;t care for Forever Charmed, but overall i just found season 8 kind of boring and forgettable, whereas with season 6 i felt the writers and actors were actively trying to get me to quit the show, such was the horrid quality of some of the episodes. The magic school nonsense, the constant use of magic for personal gain, the terrible Prince Charmed episode, which was one of the few times i actually threw objects at my television while watching Charmed lol.

I agree with you here about Season 6 vs. Season 8. Season 8 is like watching an episode of Kardashians because its on but you don't really want to. Season 6 does have glimpses of the old Charmed we loved and the overall idea was great, but the execution was horrible. Season 8 is like eating junk food. Season 6 is like drinking Coke. Like guilty pleasure Seasons. Things weren't planned out well in Season 6 and Season 8 felt like they only really cared slightly more because it was the last season. I think liking Paige more in Season 8 tips it into my 2nd most disappointing.

Even though I hate S6 more, I think S8 was the most disappointing one. I remember how excited we were when we found out that there would be an 8th season - and then how disappointed we were when we had to tolerate Billie, the star of the season.
I remember how disappointed I was when Piper treated Leo like her own little errand boy and totally emasculated a man who was raised in the 20s/30s when the men took care of their women who took care of the children and had given up immortality for love of her. Then she had the NERVE to be upset when he was frozen! Man, I hated her, especially when she used her magic to make her look like the best mother without any sort of backlash! And for HER to be the one who lives sappily ever after? *shudder* Oh, did that disappoint me!
Next I was SO disappointed when the Elders actually sent Coop to Phoebe because they were sorry that they'd messed up her love life. SAID WHAT???!!!
But what disappointed me the most was when the Elders treated Paige as if she was a full whitelighter when she was still alive! And to have her forget that she helped vanquish the Source??!! *shudder*
So much of the last season and S6 could've been so good, and yet neither were, mainly due to Chris and Billie, Kern's GaryStu and MarySue who took away attention from the ones who should've had it: the Charmed Ones.
But I hated so much of S6 and because I did, it never disappointed me, while S8 disappointed me at every turn.
And like I keep saying, I'm SO glad I hate S6 and was disappointed by S8 because fixing those horrible messes inspired so many fantastic fanfics where Chris and Billie are nothing like Kern's versions.

I voted Yes since season 6 was the season where I quit watching Charmed and Hyde School Reunion was my final episode.
I didn’t even recognize the sisters I grew to love anymore, and I couldn’t stomach the effort to keep watching and hoping they’d change. I did see the back half of S7 and liked it. Since I've never seen S8 in full apart from a few episodes, this season is the one that disappointed me the most. Had I seen S8 in full, maybe I'd feel differently.

Oh dear, is it possible to change my vote? I stupidly misread the question as "is season 6 the worst season" when Rebooted obviously wanted to know if season 6 provided the biggest letdown in terms of expectations...i think lol.
Reading the question from that perspective i would like to revise my vote to say season 7, and not season 6 or 8, is the biggest disappointment. The teasing of the avatar storyline seemed a pretty ambitious, inspired idea for Charmed and i was really hopeful there would be a major payoff...
Well, that didn't happen. Not even close. IMO it was an example of the later seasons of Charmed messing with fans heads, getting our hopes up for very little return. For fans of the very overrated TV show Lost (which i was once foolishly addicted to), the Avatar storyline reminded me a little of when Lost teased the mysterious "Others" on that show. Like the avatars, they were ultimately just a facade, with very little substance.
Anyway, getting back to season 6, I don't recall having very high expectations for that season, especially after the crap fest that was season 5. I was curious about Chris, and whether he was actually disguising some sinister motives, but even at the time I didn't feel Drew Fuller was a good enough actor to really pull that kind of performance off, he just has a kind of blank quality where you just take everything he says at face value, so there was no way I could accept him as a legitimate villain. Also, I won't go into the baby stuff that much, the less said about that the better, but i was never eager to learn more about baby Wyatt's awesome potential, especially after he sicced a dragon on the entire city and Piper still refused to bound his powers! Insert crazy emoji face here lol.

For me, season 8 was the most disappointing. I didn't like either 6 or 8, but I could tell they were making an effort in 6.
Season 6 told us who Chris was and explored the present and future ideas of Wyatt, Chris, their relationship, and their powers. I don't care about these characters, but I find the idea interesting.
I've watched season 8 two times, and I can barely remember anything about it. I wish they hadn't even bothered. I was at least entertained by season 6, even if I personally had moved on from what the show became at that point.

I agree with this, I have always found season eight to be lacklustre which sucks because it could have been a great series finale season but it wasn't, I like Chris in season six and prefer him over Billie and Christy any day.

I pick season 6 not been the most disappointing season over 8 also.
Don't get me wrong there were things about season 6 I didn't like for example Phoebe's baby quest, Her and Paige murdering Rick Gitteridge, Piper and Leo's divorce stalling with nothing on whether that was going ahead or not, and Chris's storyline which had huge potential but was poorly written including the way he was portrayed also but over the way season 8 happened I tolerate this one slightly more of course.

No, S6 is one of my favorite seasons involving Paige. I (mostly) enjoyed S6 because of Chris, TBH. I think S6 is better than S8, that's for sure. I really enjoyed the concept of Chris' future world and wanted to know more about it. I really liked him and Bianca and wanted to know more about Bianca, as well.

Chris was an okay character just written and portrayed poorly I think.
As I've mentioned previously his storyline had the potential to be a good thing if it had been fleshed out better naturally.
I would've liked seeing Chris's future more and what went on there between adult Wyatt and him if Wes Ramsey had been available to play him other than just "Chris Crossed" and the finale which could've been spread out across the season with Phoebe having the same recurring dream that she discovers through her vision quest is Wyatt evil and the true identity of Chris instead of her being pregnant leading to the baby quest arc obviously.

OFC, things can ALWAYS be better. There's still things with the Prue era that I feel could (also) have been "done better". But, for what we got, wasn't that bad, IMO.

I've just started my rewatch of it and so far it isn't too bad and I can see the characters I know and love so far. Phoebe being messed up in the love department is clearly seen though.

I was compiling a list, together, of episodes that do not show aerial views of SF after the intro song, and S6 only has 3 episodes that does not. The rest of the season is closely matched to S1-S2 episode formatting of showcasing aerial viewing of SF, after the intro song. IKR? I was shocked! I think, subconsciously, I already knew that. I kept reading a few posters mention they miss the aerial viewing of SF, and I kept thinking...S6 STILL does that! And, I just compiled the list LOL

I feel like other than a few episodes, s6 isn't bad. It did start off pretty bad though and to be honest, I don't like how Phoebe and Paige treated Darryl but it was just a sucky intro. But Forget Me Not is an amazing episode and felt like an earlier season episode. Will say more once I'm done my rewatch.

I like how it went back to the S1-S2 roots, of doing the aerial view of SF, after the intro song. To me, I feel like that's Charmed LOL

I don't know yet if my answer is yes or no, but it definitely was disappointing.
Anyway, one of the most disappointing and frustrating aspects of the season for me is that Leo gets to save the day at the end...again! Just like season 5, Leo, a random whitelighter, saves the world, and THE Charmed Ones are stuck under a spell? Come on.

Same when Cole vanquished the Judge and the Triad in S3 not the Halliwells. I didn't like Leo getting all those powers to vanquish demons. I hated when they did that to Leo. But by that point the Elders were made out to be too demonic for me. I much prefer them when they were mysterious and we never saw them.

I still like S6 and don't see what others see regarding how "awful" it is. I don't mind other magical beings saving the day. I don't feel like it ALWAYS must be the Charmed Ones, at all costs. Makes other magical beings seem pointless. I think (especially by S6) it's OK to expand beyond three powerful sisters. There are other characters, in the show besides the sisters.
