If I'm not mistaken, TNT does not have the rights to the Season 8 footage... just 1 through 7.

Not yet, but they should start airing season 8 after it ends on the wb.

HF: I think you're right. TNT will air season 8 when it's over. As for what will appear in the current time slot after May 21st, will be one of three things. Either they will move another show into the slot which is new and making a pre summer debut and then show some Charmed reruns of season 8. Or they will simply repeat season eight through the summer, with breaks when they want to air some one time special or mini-series. Or they will pull Charmed completely from that slot to fill it with other reruns, like Pepper Dennis or Gilmore Girls. No matter what happens, TV will just not be the same without a new episode or season of Charmed to look forward to watching.

IF the airing in england continues as it for chrmed then the finale on living tv should be on the first of june.....as i have worked it out....and then once charmed has finished the week after veroncia mars shall be taking the timeslot

if tnt currently isnt going to air season 8 will they ever air it on tnt?

I don't think there is an answer to that question yet. I would think, perhaps, they want to be able to get closer to the release of the DVDs (they are released earlier overseas). This way they can maximize the profits from sales, before people record the episodes on their own. Also, the season 8 DVD will be the only one with extras. Remember, the first DVDs started coming out only sometime last year. They are up to season 5 (to be released any day now) in the US, but up to season 6 in other parts of the world.

Thank you for the info! I work until 5pm EST and when I got home yesterday, no 'Charmed' at 5 or 6pm EST. Bummer!! Now I know to record the morning eppy's thanks to the above.

For me, on Directv, in South Carolina, Charmed on TNT is on at 4 and 5. I don't get off work until 5, home around 5:30. So, basically I miss both episodes now. I know that it's on in the am, but I am at work then too!

What gives with TNT's afternoon showing. On Thursday, I expected to see Season 1. Okay, so they haven't shown Season 1 for the last two cycles, but what do I see the last third of Season 2. Since I work during the day, I cannot state whether or not the 8 am showing began with Season 1. If so, perhaps TNT are going back to their twin cycle strategy. That was great because you usually could see Prue one part of the day and Paige during the other part. But, hey I can do that now that Season 5 is out, too. One more season and the Paige/Prue balanced will be restored.

Well here is TNT's Charmed schedule for the week, and what an amazing week ahead of us! It is filled with S1-3! Which means we got lots and lots of Prue!!! woo hoo the original p3!

Is that am or pm? Or was I just imagining it last week when I watched a late Season 2 episode. Prue, too, but I want Prue Season 1 and all of Season 2, especially Morality Bites.

Never mind! There are currently two different cycles on TNT. Good. Because now we can have Prue in the morning and Paige in the evening. Then, Paige morning and evening. Then, Paige in the morning and Prue in the evening. Now, it's all about Prue!

It's great they are not just repeating the morning episodes in the afternoon, but they are messing up their order. I was just posting in the general question area how several of these early episodes are out of order, like showing Charmed Again ahead of All Hell Breaks Loose, and in the same time group. Very odd they should mess this up as they have shown these episodes many times before.

Yea, I don't know why they do that. It is really strange. Today they will be showing All Hells Breaks Loose, and the episode showing right aftwerwards is Hell Hath No Fury, completely missing Charmed Again Part 1 and 2. And Charmed Again is one of the most important episodes, which explains the death of Prue and the introduction of Paige. Then the rest of the week continues with S2 epps in the morning and S4 epps in the evening. Now I don't mind that because I know the order of events and what happened, but for the people that are new to Charmed and just started watching, it could be very confusing.

Well, the goof here is that when they started cycle 2, they started with an even numbered episode. Had they shown AHBL yesterday, then only Charmed Again Part 1 would have aired. Frankly, I have no problem with that since these two episodes go well together. Hey, why not add a third hour and show all three back to back! Oh, that's why we have DVD-R machines!

P.S. There is no inherent advantage in starting with an odd numbered episode. It works until the end of Season 5 when there were an odd number of episodes that year. One two parter gets split either way!
