Charmed Scheduling

I believe the next new episode of Charmed will be airing Sunday, April 15 on the WB (someone please correct me if I'm wrong on any of this).
Schedule for new episodes should be:
April 16: 8x17-Generation Hex
April 23: 8x18-The Torn Identity
April 30: 8x19-The Jung and the Restless
May 7: 8x20-Gone With the Witches
May 14: 8x21-Kill Billie, Vol. 2
May 21: 8x22-Forever Charmed (series finale)

Feel free to post the WB repeat schedule and tnt's schedule, as well as Charmed schedules for other countries.

all i kniow is that the 8x22 forever charmed will air sometime in june on living tv in the U.K

After checking out the WB's website to find out what repeats are going to be aired, I was thrilled to find out that Vaya Con Leos is on next week.

I missed half of that episode.

The reason Charmed won't be back until April is because it takes time to produce episodes like this. If we wanted a non-stop season like they do for 24, that would mean a 5 month break between the season finale and the season premiere of the next season. I don't think we want to wait that long. Plus, there are only 22 episodes to fill a 52-week year. Obviously, not all of these episodes are going to be new. December, January, and March are the typical months for when networks start repeating older episodes. This gives the production teams on these shows time to complete post-production on the new episodes, as well as give them a little break as well. It also gives the fans a chance to catch up on what's been going on with their favorite show in order to prepare for the season or series finale which will conclude 2 months later.

Charmed is not the only show on hiatus right now. Supernatural, Smallville, and Reba have not been airing new episodes either. Most of their shows are on hiatus. It's very common this time of year. Smallville will return March 30 with new episodes and Charmed will air new episodes 2 weeks later.

This is normal.

It says on TV.com that "Generation Hex" will air April 2nd and "The Torn Identity" April 9th, then the last four episodes will air back to back and TV.com, the moderator Kristhetvgirl2 is very reliable...so that's the schedule that I heard...

Then what's on the home page of the board is not correct. Which means they will continue to show back to back episodes of season 8 until they catch up. This past week was 8.8 and 8.9, which means this Sunday will be 8.10 (Vaya Con Leo) and 8.11 (Mr. & Mrs. Witch). If they keep doing this, the 26th will be episodes 12/13, the 2nd of April will be 14/15, and the 9th of April will be 16 (Engaged and Confused and something else). This all assumes one or more won't be pre-empted for some movie or special. However, it almost fits perfectly with the timing for a new episode on the 16th of April.

ACCORDING TO THE WB CHARMED WILL NOT BE NEW MARCH 26. It is a repeat of
"Payback's a Witch".

Not so much as "wrong" as the episode post editing and such have been pushed back a few times since the official Cancellation Memo since the last episode this Season is actually now the last Episode or the Series

No, they haven't pushed back the episode airing. The schedule was already set up. Last season there were no new episodes in March. In season 6, the only new episode in March that aired (Hyde School Reunion) was aired in the middle of a six week hiatus only to promote the reality series High School Reunion.
The schedule on the site was wrong. It isn't the first time that's happened.

this is for british charmed fans. if you don't have sky and are waiting for charmed to come on channel 5 it wont cause channel five lost the rights or something......BUT it will be shown on channel 4 instead during the summer as apart of T4.

omg i nearly had a heart attack bcos i only saw the part where it said 5 wont show it but then the trusty channel 4 (whom i love for shows like lost, oc, desperate housewives...) come through and save the day!! ;D lol

I have a question concerning the schedule for Charmed Season 8 on the WB that maybe one of you can answer.

I've been extremely busy the past couple of months and missed what appears to be a stretch of about six episodes of Season 8... but am now taping/watching them every week. I see that 5/21 is when the series finale is set to air on the WB.

My question is... after 5/21, will the WB be airing any repeats of the earlier Season 8 episodes further into the year, or is 5/21 the absolute last airing, new shows or repeats, of Charmed on the WB, period?

I'm hoping that I'll be able to catch some of those episodes in Season 8 that I missed come summertime... but I'm wondering if they're even going to be aired again. Anyone who can shed some light on the subject for me, please do. Thanks.
