How did you discover Charmed ?

for me watching charmed came on after watching Popular.

Then I didn't get WB , then I missed charmed for about a year and then it came back on CTV. then it went off it was a constant back and forth but I was still able to see it all. thanks to reruns.

I remember it all too well! I was only about 7 or 8, or something like that. I remember my whole family was in the living room, and my cousin was also over (he was much older than me then though, in his 30's). The TV was on, and it was raining that night here. It came on the TV, and my mom was like "Oh, what's this?" or something like that. And my cousin said "Oh yeah its that new show.. It's about three sisters who have powers or something.. Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano are in it I think.." And me and my mom instantly fell in love with it from that moment on. I'm so happy my mom let me watch it - when you think about it, theres nothing that would be bad for children in it (unless they get scared by all the demons! haha), and theres a few sexual things, but I was too young to understand them anyway. Me and my mom watched the first 2 seasons, and half of season 3 and then it went off our channels or something like that. I remember hearing on an entertainment show that Shannen Doherty was leaving. I then watched season 4-7 at odd times, the show was moved to a weird time slot on my channels, Saturdays at like 4PM or something like that. I never saw an episode of season 8 though until it was on DVD. Thats my charmed history!

i discover Charmed when i looked through sky tv and went to infomation to see what it was about and thought i would watch it and i am glad i did. it was the the 1st one "Something Wicca This Way Comes"

and now i have all 8 box sets and the book of shadows (not the real one but a great copy of it withit all in)

In honestly have no idea how I discovered Charmed. It's been almost twelve years. My guess is as with most other TV shows I have watched over the years, someone had the TV on and was watching it. I have a vague memory of going into my parents room and seeing the TV on and it was Charmed, but since it's the room they currently have, and we've only lived here since March 2000, that's not it. You see, I know that I watched the first episode the first time it was on . . . or at least the first week. I remember that episode, a little, and I remember seeing "Dead Man Dating" when it was first on, but only snap shots. That's not to say I only remember snap shots of DMD, only to say that I remember only snapshots of the first time I saw it.

The more I think about this, the more I think I remember things. I think maybe I did go into my parents room in our old house in California. I remember now that there was a TV there. And I think Dad was watching it. I think I remember thinking it was pretty cool, but then I didn't see it, again. Except I know I saw "Dead Man Dating". As best I can remember that's the how I found out about Charmed.

how i landed on watching Charmed, i went to my uncles one day and he was watching and i watched with him, and when i seen piper i was hooked ;D

my brother had secret and guys on i remeber being amazed when i watched it i thougt it was great show n watched every episode after never missing one. when they had the 6 months break i had to record the re-runs and then when it came bk i recorded the new ones so i had some to watch when it werent on.

I actually discovered Charmed while stationed in Iraq. I was in the Army, working in a hospital, and one day on my lunch break I was flipping through the channels on tv and came across Charmed. I fell in love with it immediately.
Everyone has their different ways of fantasy and escape, well, this was mine. Even though I was in a war zone, I could escape all that and enter a world where evil is vanquished and the good prevailed. I bought all the DVD sets that were available and would watch them whenever I could.
I absolutely love this show.

been on about 40 fan forums as to push bands i work with. and would learn enough about the shows to be able to post just to get band logo or signature on page. had to watch Charmed to be here got hooked on show.i still watch once in a while, season 6 still sucks. i guess i'm the only one left who knows the "Charmed secret hand shake"

I remember my first ever Charmed episode! It was Sense and Sense Ability.

I was at home one half-term from my boarding college and just happened to turn on the TV and there it was. I'd heard about Charmed but I'd never watched an episode because before I went to a boarding school I had some many after school activities that I didn't have time for much TV and was very into Buffy at that time.

Anyway, after that episode, I didn't watch another one until mid season six - the genie one. I hated that episode, just thought it was massively different from the well done Sense and Sense Ability but then caught a season 2 episode on a repeat just after and *loved* that. From then, I found out when the repeats were showing and eventually caught enough to decide to buy the DVDs.

Even though I caught the episodes with Piper, Phoebe and Paige as the Power of Three, I much prefer Prue, Piper and Phoebe as the line up.

In a nut shell I flicked the TV on and Charmed started I don't remember hearing or reading anything about it. I just started watching it and I liked it. Once I watch the first show I just continued watching it until the stations kept moving the show around and sometimes I couldn't find the bloody show. Once I saw it on dvd I grabbed a copy like a women possessed! Too be honest when your younger things just happened and I didn't put too much thought in to it. And now if I don't watch Charmed I go mad I tell you mad I have to watch it everyday that is why I have to keep replacing my dvd's they literally wear out and it is getting really expensive to replace! Man this show is sending me broke but it is so worth it so worth it! Also the name of the show Charmed got stuck in my head so when I couldn't find it that name always stayed with me.

I have all 8 seasons on DVD now and i love it the more i watch it. I was balling my eyes out when i watched the finale but then again there has been quite a few tear jerker episodes.

I know what you mean and the show is even more brilliant on ipad I also found Charmed by accident I didn't hear anything about the show no commercials nothing I just flicked on the TV and it started watched it liked it continue watching it and the rest is history.

I remember it well, I was about 8 or 9 at the time and was in the living room with my mum. My Step-Dad was going out and I turned around and said 'bye Dad' Charmed came on and I remember loving the shots of the Golden Gate Bridge in the opening credits. It was a poignant moment because it was the first time I had called him Dad, and so it'll always stick with me.

I can't exactly remember. I think it was just on or something so I left it on. I didn't know very much about it and it was a random episode in either season 4 or season 5. Then the next time I turned it on the episode where Prue gets turned into a man was on. I was so incredibly confused because there was no Paige, haha. Then I started watching more of them and eventually found out...
