Greetings to The Cafe members. I am new to the site as of today, and I really do not wish to ruffle anyone's feathers, especially on my second post but.....over the years I have listened to a lot of negative remarks made about SD. Many of them have confused me. Unless you know someone personally, most of what you read in the tabloids should be taken with a grain of salt, as my mother would say. Since I have never meet the person in question I know that I can not confirm nor deny any statements made regarding her life away from the camera. I also can't imagine why I would want to.
I am making this post with respects to a comment made by Charmedsisters20 on April 7th. I acknowledge that we all have a right to our own opinions and I respect the above mentions choice to like or dislike a character. But as for attacking the individual out side of her role I find that rather strange.
For one thing if she did not have any talent she would have been shelved along time ago. If Spelling didn't have any faith in her capabilities he never would have cast her in yet another one of his productions, and certainly not as the main lead. To say that she is a bad actress is more of an insult to Mr. Spelling than it is to SD. Who would be the bigger fool here, him for casting her, or her for still being able to pull in a pay check?
Another point of interest concerning SD seems to be the inability to separate fact from fiction. Is it the parts she plays that people do not like or the person away from the studio they do not care for? If I go to a movie or purchase a DVD, I for one do not lay my money down because the star in question is not paying child support, has three DUI's against them or just got out of rehab. I can't speak for anyone else but I spend my hard earned cash to be entertained. I want to believe the character. They need to convince me that they are that person. For the most part SD has not let me down in that department.
Perhaps Charmedsisters20 should ask herself the following. Did you believe she loved her family? Did she seem to be responsible? Did she come across as a good witch who would extend herself to protect the innocent? Was she hard working? Was she willing to listen to reason? Did she show the proper emotion in any given situation? If you answered yes to a few of these questions, then do you not think that SD as Prue did her job?
Another school of thought here is this. It would seem that everyone loves Piper. Does this therefore mean that you love HMC? If you do, why? Do you respect her or the character? Remember that HMC is a close friend of SD and has remained so. If SD is such an awful person away from the camera why would HMC's continue to remain close? Confuses me.

moonlightmagic, welcome to The Charmed Cafe. Wonderful words. Many of us absolutely agree with you and do not judge Shannen based on tabloid reporters. We don't know her.
And you do make excellent points about Aaron Spelling. 90210 happened and she was let go. He hired her. First. As the star. He did that. He had something that he loved about her. It means a lot.
Thank you and have fun around here!

Greetings Assassin Witch,
First, thank you for your welcome. I have been a member of a number of Charmed sites that I have departed for one reason or another; repetitive SD bashing found its way to the top of the list; and this location so far seems to be a pleasant surprise.
Second, I was delighted by your response and supportive remarks. I apologize if my post was overly long but it was the first time I decided to jump into the deep end of the pool regarding nasty little digs concerning a person no one really knows. In short, you are welcome, but it is me who should be thanking you. I thought for sure I would not be receiving any acknowledgments to that one.
Blessed Be......A lady of the Witching Hour

Perhaps she walks in grace, wisdom and beauty through a cafe filled with charm. Her ghostly being unseen but all knowing, drifts fluidly, giving no alarm.
If an empty chair is there...maybe....just maybe, she sits a spell, to listen well, to the words about her passing. Some good, some bad...but she knows....they will be but ever lasting.
She takes solace that she fought the good fight....trying so hard to give our paths light. And for those who chose to follow her ways, she knows that in our hearts, she will always stay.
And in this....she will never fade away......

There was a unaired episode of All Hell Breaks Loose: second part! WB aired once (24.5.2001), and after that we never seen that episode again. Here one reference about that: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Hell_Breaks_LooseSo, technically she wasnt die at all!

The words "unaired pilot" refers to the pilot for "Charmed" that featured Lori Romm as Phoebe.
There were no unaired episodes showing Prue surviving, nor were there any unaired episodes showing what happened between "All Hell Breaks Loose" and "Charmed Again". At the time of the filming, Shannen Doherty (who directed that episode) had no idea that it would be her last epsiode as Prue, since she was fired by Charmed's second Executive Producer, Brad Kern, during the hiatus between Seasons Three and Four.

What? No, refers to the 67th episode! Do you read?
Sorry for my english, (now I live in Europe) but I am 28 years old, I was watched that episode on WB 2001, so please dont speak something that you dont know.
In this episode, Prue was burned alive, in Hell, when she gives her soul in replace for Phoebes!
That was a really brutal episode!
That was years ago when it first came out, so I dont remember perfectly that episode!

Whatever.
If all people who saw that episode have such nice imagination, than I must say that I am proud on it.
But I just say that I watch that episode, and I must ask some question: when Phoebe ask Cole to warn Prue and Piper before the demonic hitman attack, is he warn them? When answer on this questions, than I will explained all. Ok?
And again sorry for my english.
EDIT:
In original episode, at the end was edited: To Be Continued!
Check on some DVD box sets, many people have this "problem", and they expect a second part after this.
I am searching for this episode for a years, and its unbelievable that I cant find anywhere; no video reference ... nothing. Its strange, but I will keep looking for it.
This was a two hour episode (like Charmed Again); but when Shannen left/ get fired from the show, they never aired again- only once on WB.

If there truly were such an episode, it would've been part of the DVD sets, like the unaired pilot was.
I watched every single episode on The WB the first time they were aired. I remember staring at the TV in shock after Shax said, "It's the end". I was sure it was. Were there another episode after it, I would've seen it, or if they had announced it, I would've watched. There were none. I'll believe what I saw with my own eyes much more than what I've heard.
Rumors of this extra episode have flown around since Charmed Again was aired, with fans making up their own endings, or using the one used in Charmed novel "Charmed Again". This may have been what you heard. But I'm afraid that there has *never* been any concrete proof that such an episode was ever filmed. Maybe it was written, but never filmed.
I truly wish that you were right, but if it was, it would've reached Youtube or something else like that by now, and it hasn't. Nor has any of the cast member said anything about it. I'm sure Holly would've now that the show is over, the way she was the one who announced that Shannen had been fired.
If it were made, I do hope you can find it since I would like to see it. But I do believe that you are on a wild goose chase.

There are how many people on this board? And none of us have ever seen it? I find that highly unlikely. There was never such an episode. Charmed only had 22 episodes back then, there were never more ordered that season. No pictures, no trailer, nothing.

It wouldn't been, cause its forbidden episode or something. Yeap, me too! I'll believe what I saw with my own eyes, cause I remebmer that episode, when Prue was in Hell, when she stood in front the Source. After that I never seen again ever in my life... Thats strange... I was hope that somebody here can help me about that. I'm searchinig for this episode from 2003 when Charmed starts again in my contry, cause they end the third season with first part of episode. ----------------- Maybe now I am like my kid, but ok: The first time when Shax attack istn the first at all; cause when Phoebe ask Cole to warn Prue and Piper before the demon attack, he warn them when Prue felt cold, remebmer? So, Prue felt cold at the begining of first part, which tell us that the time was reset at the begining of episode. In second part was explained all this. I clearly remember that Prue was burned alive, and it was very violent scene. Thats probably the reason why she stayed in my memory. But I cant find anywhere and thats killing me! Sorry again for my english and thanks for your help anyway... Greetings from Serbia...

WAIT ONE MINUTE
Okay, every since All Hell Breaks Loose aired....I remember seeing a little more to that episode.
After that, every time I watch it, I'm like, "What the hell happened to the rest?"
This is what I remember:
After Prue and Piper are blasted through the wall, Leo and Phoebe orb into the manor, he runs over to them and places a hand on either sister. Piper heals slowly, Phoebe takes care of her, Leo works on Prue but can't revive her. Piper comes to and sees Prue not healing, Phoebe, Piper and Leo start crying.
Does ANYONE ELSE remember this? Or is it just in my imagination? (I was probably ten years old at the time) but I So remember that part very clearly.

No!
Phoebe died in hell, too, so Cole with Tempus help reset time. Piper was dead, true, but Leo never came out in that moment. Prue stood in front the Source, and she offered her soul to him in replace of Phoebes. He decided to kill her, so she was burned alive in agony. That scene imprint in my remember.
Eight years searching for this episode, and nothing. I cant understand why they keep this episode, why they didnt put on DVD box sets like extra episode or bonus?
Maybe cause its not fit with Charmed Again? First part is real clifhanger, and they force you to watch CA istn?
Anyway, if somebody ever finds this episode, please, notify me.
Thanks...

I think you two have really active imaginations. I watched All Hell Breaks Loose every time it came on TV, including when it first aired as a new episode. I never remember seeing anything more than what everyone else is familiar with, and I waited after it was done each time to see if there would be a follow-up episode, and there never was one. I mean, I wish there was, and I wish you were right, but I was obsessive over watching Charmed every time it came on TV, and I can tell you that those scenes you mentioned never happened.

And sometimes I have a random scene pop into my head that I can't place, and after searching for it, I find it in an episode that was unrelated to where I thought it belonged. Or I find that after rewatching episodes, I must have imagined parts of certain episodes that I saw when I was only eleven or twelve. And believe me, I imagined some crazy things and had all sorts of ideas about what happened that weren't true. So I understand.

Ok seriously, Patrick and miquel, there's a whole other section on this board for what you're referring to. It's called FAN FICTION. Don't go confusing people about storylines that don't exist and episodes that were never made.
