Lots of things were so rushed in S8. Urgh that reminds me, Coop was a ridiculous character for me. Swanning in just so he could marry Phoebe, and they hadn't even known each other that long.

There was a lot what didn't qualify Billie and Christy as "The Ultimate Power" in this universe. I think both of them were just created to complete the Triad story, though they had been killed by Cole years earlier. *shakes head*

Yes! I agree with you. Coop is certainly a ridiculous character. It pains me to see the episode where Phoebe is under a spell and she gets sexual with Coop and starts making out with him, mind you hes perfectly fine and not affected by the spell just Phoebe, yet when an innocent comes (I think it was a Nymph) begging for Phoebe's help he also completely ignores her and continues to make out with Phoebe. Lol

I agree also. I also didn't like the reasoning behind why they all of the sudden returned. I think it was "The fact that evil exist they will always return in some shape or form"? If anything it should've been The Source to fit into that description. I mean The Source OF ALL EVIL come on. lol. Season 8 would've been more effective had it just been the Triad vs. Charmed One's and Billy and Christy just being supporting characters to Piper, Paige, and Phoebe as their students. But taking a thought, how would their fight had been, the one in Engaged And Confused was lackluster at best.

The Triad could come back though, they had that power and that's why they were so powerful. I liked them though. It's a shame that they were the ones who kidnapped Christy, it would have been good if the kidnappers had been someone we hadn't seen before. Coop was nice enough...but..didn't Phoebe know a Cupid before him? Maybe if he was used instead - the same person instead of the same 'being' it would feel more natural. I'm biased though, nobody compared to Cole  |

So were the Triad more powerful than the Source? Was Zankou even more powerful than the Source since he had to lock him away? Trying to figure out the hierarchy of power on Charmed. I liked the Triad in season 2, they felt more demonic and powerful. The ones in season 8 were to humanized and just felt like old men in robes.
Yea Phoebe new a Cupid from season 2. I liked Coop at first, but then he started showing selfish tendencies. Like not wanting to help Paige and ignoring an innocent. Honestly I don't think Phoebe should've ever been with a Cupid. It was to easy for her character. She should've been with a mortal or a male witch that understood her. Drake was perfect for Phoebe in the sense he cartered to her and told her the importance of her powers and helping innocents. (Not relationship wise lol) Coop did none of those things other than concentrate on superficial things that didn't really matter.
Hey thats ok... Phoebe and Cole did have amazing chemistry

Drake was AWESOME! He should have been Phoebe's husband! Honestly his character was so refreshing, and broke the typical tall dark, handsome, man's man yet still Ohh so sensitive, Mr. I have no personality, that they always had on Charmed for the sisters' love interests.

I loved Drake also. He catered to Phoebe and brought out the best in her. They were perfect. Its unfortunate he was killed off. I wish he could've been with her especially in season 8 when she needed some positivity. Billy Zane is always a treat in my book  lol |

Drake was hilarious, so was that whole episode  he should have ended up with Phoebe! Ha QUEENPIPER old men in robes - that's so true!! hmm..I would have thought that the Source was the most powerful, him being the Source of all evil and all. He had a reputation in the Underworld for a hell of a long time. But Zankou came the closest to killing the sisters, so that automatically makes him a strong candidate. I think these demons and maybe others were the strongest - with the Source leading, and then all the others slotted in below. Depends on powers though, doesn't it. |
