I agree. Love is a difficult thing and sometimes people tend to think that marriage can solve the problems. I don't think that's true. Even through marriage, it's important to never give up no matter what. Yup marriage isn't some magical cure for all your anixieties. It's simply the front door for a new era in your life. It will have plenty of good and bad times but it's something you have to be married to go through.

Yeah I agree. This is off subject but marriage made me think of it. Do you think Paige and Henry were ready for marriage?

Definitely off-topic but as long as you're the one who started this thread, if you think your question has been answered, why not?
Although both Henry and Paige may have been ready for marriage, I'm not sure if they were ready to be married to each other...I've always hated when any couple just rushes into marriage that quickly without knowing each other for at least a year.
Especially in this case. Henry should've had a chance to find out what it's like to be a mortal married to a witch, especially a Charmed One, before he made his final commitment.
Can't help wondering if something similar happened to Victor...

I think the same thing did happen to Victor. Just from what we heard from him and Grams, he wasnt prepaired for being married to a witch and what that would mean further down the road via kids.

The problem with Patty and Victor was that he never knew that Patty was a witch . . . until after they got married.

Do we actually know that Victor *didn't* know? I'm not sure if we were ever actually told that. I always thought he *did* know and thought he *could* take it, until he found out what could happen, like what happened to Little Prue and the Ice Cream Truck...

It did look like Patty and Grams did take some precaussions to keeping Victor safe from magic. And it looked like he knew plenty about witches. I think he knew before they were married.

Victor made it clear that Patty never told him that she was a witch before their wedding. And no one ever contradicted him.
Does it bother you that Patty may have lied to Victor before their marriage?

I think he made it clear that he did know about it. ljones can you please give us a quote saying that Victor didn't know? From "The Good, the Bad and the Cursed": Victor: I don't know what you're talking about. Tell me a little bit more about this Leo fellow anyway. How did he and Piper meet? Phoebe: Oh, it was a couple of years ago at the house. He was our handyman. Victor: Piper's marrying a handyman? Phoebe: Well, no, he isn't really a handyman. Wait, you do know... Victor: All I know is he's a nice enough guy who seems to know the big bad secret. Trust me, it's a lot better for a mortal to know he's marrying a witch before the wedding instead of after. Wish I had. Also . . . Victor: Yeah. I need to talk to you about something man to man. Leo: Man to man? Victor: Well, from one mortal to another. Leo, it's not easy being married to a witch. Leo: No. Victor: That's why my marriage to Piper's mother didn't work out. It wasn't because I didn't love her, it was because I wasn't prepared for what was to come.Leo: Well, I think I'm prepared, sir... I mean, Victor.

It does NOT mean he didn't know that she was a witch.

Good one, ljones! I admit I just read the first bolded sentence in the other thread, not the second one. I stand corrected! I should've guessed that Kern would make Patty as irresponsible as he made her daughters! After all, as has been pointed out to me, he made Patty f*ck Sam before Victor was even gone! Watching P3 H2O, I always assumed that happened AFTER he was gone; that Patty turned to Sam after Grams shooed Victor away. That would've been beautiful. But Paige and Phoebe's birthdates say otherwise. Naturally, Kern had to make it soap-opera-ish and disgusting. Now one of my favorite episodes no longer is. *insert sarcasm here* Thanks, Kern!
