I'll agree with that one. For me, the acting ranges went in order of age: Shannen, Holly, Alyssa and Rose. Although Alyssa was the best comedic actress, Charmed wasn't a comedy. Or at least it wasn't *supposed* to be... And Kaley as a dramatic actress was way below Rose. At least the gal who played Christy did a good job playing her--the fact that so many people hated what Kern saw as an evil character (I saw her as an innocent in the mold of Bane or Cole) proves that, while the fact that Billie annoyed so many people shows what a bad job Kaley did.

whats with the caps? seriously!
I love Kayley, i truly do, but not in the role of Billie. Kayley is a gorgeous girl, and i think one of the main reasons she got the job was because she is hot stuff.
As far as acting ability goes, Kayley and Rose for me share the same level of talent. both have strong points, but the weak points are stronger, and easier to notice

Honestly, not really. I do like Rose, trust me, I do. But I still think Holly is a better actress and has more range. Most of all, she seemed more committed to the show than Rose and while Rose was good before Charmed, this show seemed to spoil her acting and she hasn't been very good in anything after Charmed. She was terrible in that Elvis miniseries.

Are Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan not enough sex appeal for one show? And as for my opinion on the topic: Me no like Billie. Christy was a "good" character. After reading enough of Esmerald's comments about her, I would agree with her. She was the innocent. |

Aylssa Milano for most of Charmed the Sex of the show, she is the most gorgeous, or at least has the most noticeable beauty. But Kayley is what....22? or perhaps younger.
Holly, Rose and Aylssa are all cracking on a bit. Kern perhaps thought they needed some younger totty. He married Piper off, and then Holly got pregnant and lost her sexy body- in the eyes of young thingy driven boys. Aylssa was showing enough skin for thge three of them, and well Rose......Rose isn't that sexy i dont think, and when she tries to be sexy, she just looks stupid!

Drewsgal, well I will admit that some of the creative geniuses really tried hard to make Rose unattractive. Some of her outfits are hideous. That white thing in Centennial Charmed. But, Rose is stellar as a red-head. Whether it's Sam I Am or Centennial Charmed, she is a major babe and outshines boobjob Alyssa or I gotta show cleavage Holly. But, are we only going to look at the Charmed Ones - or the actresses portraying - only in this superficial way? Gosh, I hope not. Holly has a fantastic ability to use facial gestures, including her eyes, to dominate a scene. Look at what she does in Charmed Again Part 1 during the scene when the secret of Paige is revealed. Unbelievable! And, Alyssa is really good with physical comedy.

I'm not saying the Rose isn't a beauty, But Rose, when trying to be sexy, just isn't. Charmed Noir when she is flirting with the cop, or at the end with Kyle. She can't be sexy when trying to be. Personally if Paige was writen less annoying, i wouldn't consider Rose as such a bad actress.
And as for looks, Shannen was the main beauty of the show way back when. Alyssa may of had a boob job, but so has half of hollywood, and it doesnt make her any less attractive. Ms Milano is ( hope i am guessing right) Half Italian, and has that Olive Skined Italian beauty that italian women have ( most beautiful women in the world i think),
Holly and her facial expressions are good yes, but Holly lost that sexy figure when she got pregnant with her son, and it happens, i know that i am not that naive. But what i am saying is- every season they have brought in Male Totty-
Season 1- Andy Season2- Dan Season3- Cole Season4- Glen Season5- Jason Season6- Chris Season7- Kyle
Charmed was almost about Male sex appeal in terms of new characters. Bringing in a sexy new female was a great idea, because it was expected to bring in Male viewers- thingy Driven Youths as i call them
Ok you had the odd sexy female- The Seer, Bianca.....but they needed someone more permanant.

Problem is, I don't consider Kaley Cuoco sexy at all, but then again, I'm not a 17 year old teenage boy. I also don't think Alyssa Milano looked that sexy during the last few years of Charmed. She lost too much weight and those tattoos were incredibly distracting to her natural beauty. She went back to looking good during season 8. As for Holly, I never thought she wanted to be looked at as sexy. She seems like a very natural woman. Some people actually consider being comfortable with oneself as sexy.

This subject seems about perfect for me now that I've finished the eighth season. I just have to say this: Billie was so not an annoyance to me. I found that when she was apparently "in the way" she really wasn't. She did play an influential role in trying to get the Charmed Ones realize that helping innocents is the number one priority. I really liked Billie within the first half of the season.
Enter Christy. I swear to God, I couldn't wait until that girl got hers. She was manipulative and evil in every sense of the word. What I don't understand is how she didn't have any warlock powers (i.e. blinking). She was so incredibly irritating for me. When it comes to TV biatches there's the good (Lilah Morgan of Angel), the bad (Cordelia of Buffy) and the frustrating (Christy).
I love that Billie never truly stopped believing in the Charmed Ones. Yes, she did want to kill them (sort of) but she always questionned her sister. That's the important thing.
So when you ask me, Billie's better. However, Christy does have cooler powers.

Hahahahaha that would have been great. What would have been awesome would be if they played up the whole "witches can't hurt good witches" thing towards the end. When Piper blew up part of Christy's arm, it could have been the turning point within the series when Paige and Piper go "Uh oh... looks like we found someone evil". Although, they dropped that concept just as fast as Constance Burge left.

And I don't think Christy was ever truly a warlock, not when she had been manipulated and brainwashed as a child and hence not truly responsible for her decision. She was an innocent, not a warlock. When did she convince them of that since I never saw them as seeing anyone but themselves and their own families as their number one priority, never innocents. Paige did, maybe, but not Piper and Phoebe, who remained selfish and self-centered to the very end. |

If blinking was a power that was stolen, how come Phoebe and Piper gained that ability when they became warlock powers during the episode "Bride and Gloom"?
I don't think Christy was ever an innocent. She knew she had been manipulated, or at least Billie tried to explain that to her. Did she listen? No.
I, at first, assumed the Charmed Ones were being selfish but after eight years (five for Paige) of demon fighting, they should be able to want to be normal. Personally, I've never fought demons like any of them but I would assume it's exhausting and trying.
