Which is one of the most stupid things ever said on the show. If the Angel of Destiny doesn't know that Piper is going to use Coop's ring to go time-traveling and end up saving the day with Billie's help, what good is she? Isn't knowing what a person's destiny is what being an Angel of Destiny is all about? (And does anyone *really* think that the Angel of Destiny in Witch Way Now *didn't* know what the sisters would choose? Otherwise, how could he know that Piper was pregnant, since, obviously that--raising the Twice-Blessed Kid--was the Charmed Ones' next destiny, since it sure wasn't looking for and saving innocents! Had the sisters not accepted their destiny, Wyatt would've had *his* powers taken away, too, so Piper could have her "normal" life. Bet if she knew that, she wouldv'e fought her sisters harder. And if *they* knew that, they probably would've, too!)
Along the same time, the proof of this Angel of Destiny's stupidity (she should have her wings taken away!) is the fact that she gave Leo back to Piper, when she should've known that she'd just have to take him away anyway. *shakes head* Stupid supreme! Of course, it was simply done so Leo could be the one doing the time traveling with Piper, but, c'mon, Kern, write something that makes sense! Especially for the last episode!

Why would you assume that she doesn't know what will happen? At the end of Kill Billie, Volume 2, she returns Leo as per the agreement. However, she notes - perhaps cryptically - that what had just transpired was indeed an ultimate battle, but it was not quite what she had foreseen. In Forever Charmed, after Piper went back into the past to fix the present and save the future, the Angel of Destiny acknowledges that this indeed was supposed to be how it ended.

I think the Angels of Destiny pretty much know anything and everything. I believe they know the possibilities raised for everyone's future (as destiny can and will often change... i.e. "Morality Bites").
Anyway I don't think that the murder of the Triad member was what set her off to be evil. However, it could have been the point of no return for her where she would no longer listen to any reasoning.

That's my point of view precisely. Kandor's ultimate test was to have Christy pass a point of no return. He no longer feared that Christy would been diverted from her mission by cozying up to her sister.

Oh god, when you put it like that, it hurt my head, but that is probably from crying all morning. Time Travel is used far too much i agree,
The go-go boots paige uses to go back to the sixties, dont forget that! Season 6 used it far to much, time travel was basically used in every season part from season......5. where is the entertainment in repetition

I think time travel can be used wisely. I mean, the Charmed Ones have such a rich family history that's interesting to learn about. However, the do have to make sure that the time traveling is different from whatever they've done before.
After all, some shows only do time travel in one arc of the show.

Grams must have been truly powerful if her Lost Possessions spell could result in time travel. Oh, that's right, vandergraafk. That episode is Witchstock, an episode already fraught with mind-altering devices. Uh, sorry, I gotta drop a lid. My head hurts!

Christy's murder of Kandor in cold blood certainly was the result of her years of indoctrination at the hands of Dumain.
But I still reject the notion that Christy somehow suddenly abandoned all of her sisterly affection for Billie following her vanquish of Kandor.

The Angel of Destiny also stated, in "Vaya Con Leos," that there are many destinies...so how was she supposed to be certain which specific destiny would come to pass?
Rather, the multiple destinies that these Angels may foresee are probably an end result of the specific decisions made by the people involved.
At any rate, Esmerelda, it's rather short-sighted of you to simply write off the Angel of Death as "stupid" just because she doesn't pronounce exactly how everything is unequivocally going to happen right before it happens. After all, the whole point of "Vaya Con Leos" was that Piper's strong will was what enabled her to alter Leo's destiny.

She didn't say the Angel of Death, she said Destiny. But thats right. Destiny changes with every discion we make, although, i would of liked Charmed to have brought in The Fates! Instead of having stupid things like Nymphs, The Fates would be great.

I think since they brought billie in it wasnt really charmed the last season should have been about them not some new witch they brought in last minute plus billie was annoying

That's what I meant to say.
My point remains unchanged. I don't see how Esmerelda can so frivolously castigate the Angel of Destiny as being "stupid" when it is clearly stated that there are many destinies.

Ooh the Fates. That actually would have been really cool and interesting to see. They would have been a nice alternative to a lot of what we got on Charmed.

I always thought that one thing Charmed would of brought in was The Fates. I mean The Fates are legendary in the supernatural world, and almost everyone knows about them ( and if they watch disney Hercules then they sure will). And its a better concept than the AOD.

Another interesting thing was that there were three of them. That would certainly add to the dynamic of the Charmed Ones. Imagine an alternative to "Witch Way Now?" if it had been Fates and not the Angel of Destiny. I'd imagine each sister would have her own Fate who would follow her around throughout the day. They'd each help the Charmed Ones to realize their new destiny.

Well, perhaps The Fates do exist in the Charmedverse, but they simply never chose to intervene?

It's probable that they did exist. Although, with the way they treated mythology (remember the whole Greek Gods were mortals to begin with thing?) it's possible that the Fates would have been something completely different.
BRINGING it back to Billie and Christy. I'd imagine Christy would vanquish one of the Fates... just to make things interesting. That ONE Fate would pose some kind of threat and Christy would vanquish her.

Vanquishing The Fates would be like vanquishing one of the Angels of Destiny. It would mess with fate. As the name state, orginally The Fates controlled each mortals Fate. As destiny and Fate are something completley different

Well, maybe they would have been a cheap, modern knock-off of the Fates. After all, the Charmed Ones had already gone to battle against the dog-faced women from hell, i.e., the modern day Furies!
