I think they both tried to change each other too much and it resulted in the messed up relationship they had in the end. I love the Cole and Phoebe relationship but they both started out at different ends, the Good and Evil. They both tried to bring their natures to a middle point and the stress of that was obvious, on both them and Phoebe's family.

And how do we know for sure that Coop put up with Phoebe easily controlling him? We barely saw any of their long-term relationship. For all we know, Coop might have been one of the few people who was able to stand up to Phoebe and get through to her.

Lol so is my best mate, and sometimes i swear he wants to punch me because of my stupidity over men ( 19 and totally man crazy)
I just have a feeling from seeing how Coop chased after Phoebe in the beginning that he would be her complete drone of a husband and do watever she wanted him to do

I wish we had some idea how different S7 and S8 might have been had they known that S7 wouldn't be the last season. Would they have given Paige & Henry and Phoebe & Coop a chance to meet in S7, so they wouldn't have seem so rushed? That could've made a big difference in the way I feel. But not the way Phoebe always says, "Cole." It shows you where her heart truly is, and it's not with Coop.

I still think that they would have lasted if Phoebe had given Cole the time of day. She was cruel to him, plain and simple.
I think, if given another chance, Cole would have kept his demon capability under control, and loved Phoebe forever.

yeah Es i noticed that everything Phoebe says COles name it still drips with love and regret. I think Coop was rebound. Even though it was years after Cole, she still loved him.
I just wish she had given him another chance in Season 5

i thought coop was sweet. underdeveloped, but sweet. he was very simple, which was what phoebe needed.

No no no! Coop was awful! As said, just what Phoebe wanted, someone who would do whatever she wants. Thats where Phoebe and Cole went wrong a little bit. We see in "Muse to my Ears" you see Phoebe and Cole argue because she wants Cole to do what she says and not do what he wants. A little bit selfish dont cha think, so therefore Coop would do her bidding, no questions asked, and this is what she liked.
