It is really hard to say. Whatever the reason, it's too bad it had to end that way with Cole. I think it ended up that way because he had some Nip/Tuck to do

WRONG!! Phoebe never did no such thing. It was Cole who thought of doing it, Paige made the potion, and crazy women threw it at Cole. If i remember correctly Phoebe never pushed COle to get rid of his powers, she supported him, like she should of done after the Source infected him, she should of let him explain instead of being to egar to condem him to evildom. I feel more sorry for Cole than i do Phoebe. Because of him former life, because he once was a demon, ALL of the charmed ones judged him purley on that. People change, and Cole did. In season 5 he wasn't evil. He was mad with love. And his crazyness was him wanting to be destroyed, to leave phoebe alone once and for all. he was not being selfish, for once he was thinking of phoebe. But Heck she even denied him death, so what would you of done in that situation. Give in and go evil. Like i said before, Cole never stood a chance of being good, because them women were to stubborn to give him a chance.

It would had been really cool if Cole would had showed up for the final battle. He was on powerful demon.

Back in S3, Phoebe had insisted that Cole stop using his powers, because she had stupidly believe that he would be tempted back into evil. This led Cole to stupidly consider stripping his powers for good. And then Phoebe had stupidly left that power stripping potion in her bedroom, despite her intention of getting rid of it.

S3, sorry i think you mean S4.
She suggestest him stopping using them, never did she suggest having them stripped. Cole thought that up on his own. As it happens its the most stupid thing he ever did because him being mortal led him to be the new source.

i think phoebe not vanquishing cole when she first found out he was belthazor and then lying about his death to her sisters, was the ultimate betrayal phoebe could have made to her sisters.
worse than what cole ever did.

I don't understand why they thought that making him human would be a good thing. If Phoebe really wanted a relationship with Cole, she should have agreed to either strip her powers, along with his. Or if I were Cole, I would have never considered getting rid of my powers. What a stupid thing to consider!

I suppose Cole thought he was doing the right thing because he was doing it for Phoebe, and we all know how stupid Cole was when it came to Phoebe.
In my opinion, it was not Cole or even the Seer who is to blame for what happened to Cole, but Phoebe!

What I recall what happened is when the woman wanted revenge on the demon who killed her fiance, it was her who ended up throwing the potion that made Cole human. Phoebe believed he would turn back into Cole. So it's really hard to say what would of happened if that woman didn't throw it.

Why was it necessary for Belthazor to become that dominate in the first place? Especially against another demon/human hybrid? He didn't have to do it, when attacking the Source in "Brain Drain". Talk about idiotic! That was one of the most . . . hell, it was just idiotic and a stupid excuse for the others to be relieved that Emily tossed the potion at him. Dumb ass writers!

Fairy snuff Phoebe didn't throw the potion, but it was her influence that caused the potion to be made in the first place.

Well, If I was half demon, and I loved someone so much, I'd give up half of me and have there love fill that void. So we can be together. If you know in your heart it's meant to be.
Phoebe was not being selfish. She just loved Cole soooo much, and was scared of them not being together, she made the potion. She always had it, but did she ever use it? No!!!
She only had it in her purse because of Cole asking her to do so, which ended up getting that woman's hand and turning Cole human.

Loving someone that much means taking them FOR WHO THEY ARE. Not wanting to change them so its easier for you.

Hmmm...it seems Cole could have done well to learn that in Season 5 just as much as Phoebe should have in Seasons 3 and 4.

Loving someone that much means taking them FOR WHO THEY ARE. Not wanting to change them so its easier for you. I agree. It's a lesson that both Phoebe and Cole failed to learn. Phoebe wanted Cole to be different so that she can love him with guarantees. Cole tried to change himself because he loved Phoebe, instead of simply trying to be himself.
