Do you think Piper cries to much?

Wow, no good qualities at all in Piper after she became the eldest? Did we watch the same show? I guess that's why she cried so much, she was a horrible human being with no good qualities, that's sad. I'd cry if someone consider me to be irredimable and no good for anything other than crying and suffering.

I don't think she meant it like that! and Well I still think she should have talked to the writers about letting her character stop with the crying for at least half of a season.and Your right Jackie it is my opinion and TOP3 this is for Piper lol but I think holly is good at crying but she's even better at comedy like when she got drunk when Phoebe became Queen of all Evil I always laugh it this quote." Paige tried to tell me Cole was evil over,and over,and over,and over,and....over it doesn't even sound like a word anymore!" That is my favorite quote I think oh wait no my favorite quote is the eppi Little Box Of Horrors said by Piper. " Yea this is Hope she is the new guardian of the box...To bad there's nothing left for her to guard!" I love that lol

When was she crying for an entire season? We have a lot of examples of Piper crying because this show lasted 8 long years. That's at least 176 ocassions to cry.

Haha! Believe it or not, I've never actually noticed that Piper cries a lot. I mean, I knew she cried for a lot of Leo's "deaths" (or whenever he's come close to it) and she's cried for Prue's death (OBVIOUSLY!). I mean, when the sisters cry, they cry for the right reasons. It's not like "Oh damn, I broke a nail" *sobs*

Yeah same here I hardly noticed except for the major times IE: Prue's death and Oh My Godess. Although I did notice in a sense that Poor Piper has been through a lot of hard to cope with times. I mean loosing her sister and having to step up as eldest and then loosing the love of her life several times.

Prue had a lot of deaths, too, but she still knew that having her powers were important, not to just protect herself and her family, like Piper, but to protect *innocents*, the reason why they got their powers in the first place, the reason that Brad Kern kept forgetting about, the reason that made me love the early versions of the sisters--you could look up to them and feel proud of them, not sorry for them like you did during the later years.

Funny. Thinking about this, my favorite "Piper-crying scene" was at the end of Astral Monkey when Piper cried over the death of Dr. Wilkinson and Leo came to comfort her. It's one of my all-time favorite scenes in Charmed. And naturally, it was during Season Two, back when she truly cared about someone besides herself or her family and she wasn't feeling sorry for herself but feeling bad for the person she was crying about.

Piper as a character was always an emotional person. When she felt sad, she didn't hide it. Like many have said before, she had a lot of sadness in her life and she didn't hide the pain that it caused her. It's just a character trait and it doesn't mean she's a) weak or b) and unhappy person with no good qualities in her life.

Astral Monkey is not one of my favoirte episodes but I too love that scene. I have mentioned I am a sucker for a good sweet scene so I loved how Leo appeared and held her while she cried.

You have to keep in mind that she was very very changed by Prue's death. Prue was not only her sister but her best friend, they even shared an apartment alone for some time before moving into the manor and being reunited with Phoebe. Piper looked up to Prue a lot because she thought that she was the smartest and strongest women in the world. So a lot of her world came crashing down when she lost Prue and had to take over her position. Going though such a time would change anybody especially because she was forced to be different in order to take charge and be the leader. She had to worry more and be stronger and more protective; things that were not required of her when she was the middle sister.

I would also like to point out that she cried the most for Prue in Charmed Again So doctor Wilkinson was not the only time Piper has cried over pain for someone else's life. Not to mention Vaya Con Leos. Unlike the other times Leo was taken from her, this one threatened his life which would have meant forever. I believe that all the times Piper has cried over loosing Leo was not so much for not having him for herself anymore as it was that his little sons were loosing him who did not understand. In one episode(I don't remember wish, lets all hope Charmed is the most considered on my holiday list) she even sobs to him about Wyatt and how he's just walking out on his son. So she definitely is far from self centered in my opinion. I think she has always done a goos job of taking care of both her sons and her sisters. Which gives her a harder job being the eldest than Prue ever had. Selfish was the last thing she was or could be.

that is exactly how i feel! not having her character cry as much would make her seem REALLY superficial w/ all of the stuff she went through!

ok now i'm getting that everyone thinks Piper is the only witch with problems? they all dealed with a lot of pain not JUST Piper.Yea she lost her husband over and over again but so did Phoebe.I don't really think Piper is the most important I don't think any of them are most important as always they are equal.If Piper was the most important the show would be called Piper's feelings not Charmed!
