Do you think Piper cries to much?

She doesn't cry too much. She just had tough life. That's understandable that she will cry more than other sisters. Plus, you know that she is little bit more sensitive and death of Prue really broke her.

As I've said before, I'd agree with you if Piper changed after Prue died. She didn't. She mourned Prue in Charmed Again and Hell Hath No Fury and then mentioned her after they got rid of Shax. After that, she forgot about Prue as much as the others did, since now they had a new sister (and, of course, Kern wanted you to totally forget the sister played by the actress he had fired.)

Piper didn't become a crybaby until she threw her baby tantrum after Leo left her in Oh, My Goddess and couldn't get her own way (poor baby!) Then she cried at the drop of a hat.

And the reason she became a crybaby is because of the three remaining actresses, Holly was the only one who could cry convincingly. That's why the show became "The Perils of Piper" (where everything that happened was set up to make Piper cry) rather than "Charmed".

im new to the site but i think Piper does cry a little more than she needs to. although having said that she seems to have more problems than the others do

..I don't think so, Piper is the most sensitive Charmed One and shows feelings at the best way (my opinion ). I'm a bit like her, when something sad happens I begin to cry^^ it can be on charmed or on other tv series or movies or when something happens at school (I failed exams etc.)
and because of this I like it when Piper cries a lot ^^

I don't think Piper cried too much. She has so much love for her family and sisters she worried she would lose them all. I can relate a lot to her. She is sensitive, but she still handled herself overall through everything she went through and it's only tears she released. I admire that strength.

No she does not cry too much because it is natural for a girl or even a woman like her to cry over such sad and happy things and every once in while it is good to cry.

I think piper does cry a lot but shes just more emotional.

They don't cry as much because they aren't as emotional & sensitive as Piper is.

Same here. I cry a lot too. That's how I release my feelings & anger. So I understand. She does cry a lot, but it's not a bad thing. I really liked those moments when she expresses herself that way.

yes piper does cry a lot , but for many good reasons . i mean when i saw any of the sisters cry i thought it was for a pretty good reason. but for some reason i would only cry when piper did because her matters were a lot more hurt ful i think.

I mean having 2 kids wich are constantly being attacked by demons , a husband that she can hardly depend on seeming as he has to disappear all the time and sisters with problems as in witchy or social life problems more or less lickely piper has to deal with. Then with the battles they all have to fight every day to save the world.

I mean if that were my life i would cry just about everyday it think haha

but to sum it all up , no i dont think piper cries to much . that is just they way she is and im glad after all piper is my favourite lol

I don,t think she cried too much. Like others have said, she has been through alot. Whenever she did cry and it was for good reason. I myself am very emotional and I understand Piper's sadness and frustration. She had alot on her plate most of the time. When she did cry, it was very good acting on her part. Paige wasn't very good at crying scenes, nor was Leo in my opinion. Piper was very believable when she cried. Heck, I cried right along with her many times.

In fact, considering her tendency to be more caustic than her other sisters, I find the idea of her being more weepy than them a little hard to believe.

Well, she was caustic as her way of protecting herself. She never cried when something happened to someone else; it was aways because she was feeling sorry for herself rather than doing something about it.

The whole last three seasons (aka The Perils of Piper) were all about "Poor Piper! Oh, Poor Piper! Let's all feel sorry for poor Piper!" And because once Shannen was gone, Holly did the best job acting as if she was crying, it made sense to set her character up to cry a lot.

But cry TOO much? Definitely.

Although as Elder would put it, paraphrasing what Jessica Rabbit would say, "Piper couldn't help it; she was written that way."
