Did Piper ever truly accept Paige?

Yeah, I could see that, although I always saw it the other way. As a social worker assistant who was close to being an actual social worker, I can see her feeling for Cole once Phoebe turns her back on him and realizing that all those powers he picked up in the Demonic Wasteland is what's turned him into a stalker and first getting her half-sisters to get rid of said extra powers and then helping him get past the stalking - and while they do, find out that they care for each other.

I would so love to see PhoeME being forced into seeing what she could've done to help him had she not been so wrapped up in herself and because she couldn't blame herself for turning evil, she had to find someone else to blame and she used the Halliwells' favorite scapegoat - Cole. I love one of Cole's lines from the Season 9 comics: "Who did you Halliwells blame when I wasn't around?"

I think by S5, Piper and Paige were as close as Piper and Phoebe. Remember the episode where Piper had to choose to either save Paige or Phoebe and she couldn't choose? She was in tears at the possibility of losing either of them and she ended up saving them both. Plus their moments in the alternate verse of Centennial Charmed was really adorable

I think Piper did accept Paige. That's not to say Piper & Paige are close but not being close is not the same as "not accepting", either.
