The most powerful offensive power? God! Is this how the show ended up portraying magic? As weapons of war? That's sad. As for Piper having the strongest ability . . . I don't think that's a good reason for her to rule over her sisters. As I had stated earlier, Phoebe and Paige were grown women. They had to learn to take care of themselves without Piper being around all the time. And sometimes, they had to take care of Piper. Because frankly, I don't think she was that hot as a leader. You completely missed my point. I am saying they all cared for each other. All I'm saying is that Piper had much more on her plate than the other two sisters did that she had to juggle. Each of them called each other to their aid. As for weapons of war... they were fighting in a war with demons all of the time. They never knew when one of them was going to strike after them or an innocent. Needing each other came with the territory as a Charmed One. As much as you say they are grown women doesn't change the fact that when something magical happen they need each other.

This is why I consider the show's view of witches to be lousy. Witches are not supposed to be some kind of magical warriors/killers of demons. They're supposed to be spiritual guides. I don't see why the show could have portray them as such . . . and allow them to deal with supernatural bad guys on various occasions.
They couldn't kill every demon if they tried. And the idea of demons always going after the Charmed Ones really made no sense to me.

How do you know?
There was a show called "FATHER BROWN'S MYSTERIES". It was about a Catholic priest that solved murder mysteries and it starred Tom Bosley. Father Brown didn't solve these cases because he had to "fight evil". He solved them because either someone asked for his help or he found solving mysteries interesting.
Frankly, I would have preferred if CHARMED had gone that route, instead of portraying the sisters as witches who have no choice but to hunt down and kill demons because a group of guardian angels and a magical book told them it was their destiny. And I would have preferred if the series had allowed the sisters' moral compass to develop into something more complex, instead of remaining stuck in their third-grade morality. I had hoped that the series was developing into that direction by Season 3. Alas, it didn't happened. And I eventually gave up on the show.
