I had no issue introducing a child into the show, though I think it should've happened towards the end. Half the time they ignored Wyatt/Chris in S7/8 anyway so it didnt impact much. But 10 years later and I still feel the same way I did then....Wyatt AND Chris was a huge mistake and was a huge F-U to the shows message/premise. The future was male...when it shouldnt have been.
Idk why they didnt just let Piper give births to twins if anything so you can have shock. you have your male. you have your female. Explains the twice blessed aspect.

I agree. Introducing kids changed everything. I'd much prefer that if one or more characters wanted kids, it was implied they'd have them one day, but that we never saw it. I watch this show for an escape, and there's none of that if I'm watching them taking care of kids, even if the kids are in the background.
Yes. It's not that I am against having kids in a tv show. But in this particular show, imo it changed for the worse. Yes we have episodes when the sisters wants kids/family. And that's normal. Good writing. But they should have left it at "one day in the future".

I think leaving it until the end would've been fine. It would be more rewarding building towards that future much later. Ending the series with one of the sisters pregnant would be perfect.
